Nov 6 1:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (hamstring) isn't certain to go on injured reserve yet, head coach Mike McCarthy said on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Fantasy Spin: Reports have suggested Prescott will miss multiple weeks, which puts injured reserve on the table for him. In the throes of a disappointing season, Prescott is not a starting option, anyway, but his absence will be a significant downgrade to Cowboys pass-catchers.

From TheHuddle

Nov 5 12:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday that it's likely that quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) will be placed on Injured Reserve, which will require him to miss at least four games. If the Cowboys put Prescott on IR this week, the earliest he would be able to return would be on Dec. 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night to close out Week 14 action. The 31-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, and the injury turned out to be worse than the team initially thought it was. Dallas has announced that Cooper Rush will take over under center with Prescott sidelined, which is obviously a downgrade for the Cowboys' entire offense, most notably for receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder), who could be in danger of missing the Week 10 divisional clash against the Philadelphia Eagles.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 10:23am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (hamstring) is going on the Reserve/Injured list, according to team owner Jerry Jones.

Fantasy Spin: That will cost him a minimum of four games, and Cooper Rush is thrust front and center. He was successful in his stint as a starter, but his fantasy prowess isn't very strong. He'll be a two-QB leaguer, and CeeDee Lamb loses some luster but remains a WR1.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 10:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons (ankle) is expected to be back on the field for the Week 10 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Parsons has been sidelined for the last four games while recovering from a high-ankle sprain. This return is a welcoming sight for this Cowboys defensive unit. Parsons has 14 tackles and one sack through the four games that he's played in this season. The Cowboys offense took a huge hit with Dak Prescott (hamstring) going down for multiple weeks. However, Parsons should be able to give them a lift on the defensive side of the ball.

Nov 4 2:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (hamstring) is expected to miss multiple weeks, according to sources Monday, Nov. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Prescott suffered his hamstring injury in the Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and was replaced by Cooper Rush. While CeeDee Lamb still has low-end WR1 value, he's also dealing with a shoulder injury. Rush likely doesn't have much value outside of being a mid-QB2, especially if Lamb misses time.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 2:10pm ET

Per the NFL's Tom Pelissero, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott's (hamstring) injury is worse than initially expected. Prescott sustained a hamstring injury in Sunday's 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, and an MRI revealed that the ailment would keep him out of the lineup for multiple weeks. It's a massive blow to the Cowboys, who fell to 3-5 with their third straight loss in Week 9. A decision has not been made on whether to put him on injured reserve, hinting that it's a possibility for the 31-year-old veteran. Quarterback Cooper Rush took over in relief on Sunday and is presumably the starter moving forward, but this is a downgrade for the entire Cowboys offense. Dallas will line up against their division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, at home in Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 11:33am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (hamstring, hand) will have an MRI on his hamstring injury Monday, Nov. 4. He suffered a lacerated hand in the Week 9 game, but that injury is not an issue.

Fantasy Spin: The injury didn't occur on a scramble but as he was set to make a throw. Prescott will try to play if he is able to do so. So monitor his practice time this week before considering him as a low-end QB1 against the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 9:20am ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury late in their game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He left the game while Cooper Rush took over, and is now in doubt for Week 10. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that he was concerned and Ian Rapoport reported that Prescott will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury. The Cowboys' offense has already been disappointing, so if Rush has to take over for a week or more, the entire offense would get a big downgrade until Prescott is healthy. A clearer picture should come into focus after the MRI.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) exited Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. The signal-caller had a decent showing. Unfortunately, a hamstring injury ended his day abruptly. Of course, there are concerns about the severity of his injury. However, Prescott will undergo an MRI on Monday. He'll likely miss some practice time throughout the week, assuming the injury isn't serious. But if Prescott can't suit up in Week 10 versus the Eagles, Cooper Rush, finishing with 115 yards and a touchdown off 13-for-25 passing on Sunday, would presumably remain under center.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 3:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 9 game and has been ruled out.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Prescott will be able to play in Week 10. He entered the game with 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions on the season and may only be a high-end No. 2 fantasy quarterback when he returns.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 12:10am ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been a frustrating fantasy football option in recent weeks, largely due to his tendency to turn over the football. Prescott has six interceptions and one lost fumble to just four touchdowns over his last three games, but those subpar outings came against talented defenses in the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers. This week, Prescott faces the Atlanta Falcons, who have been a little more forgiving to the quarterback position this season. So far, the Falcons have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, as well as the seventh-most passing touchdowns and the third-most rushing yards. Turnovers are still a concern with Prescott going forward, but fantasy managers should expect his floor and ceiling to increase this week against Atlanta. He ranks just outside the top 12 fantasy quarterbacks at the moment.

From RotoBaller

Oct 29 10:43am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's running ability has been frowned upon to a degree as owner Jerry Jones doesn't want him to run as much in order to remain healthy.

Fantasy Spin: Prescott is just the QB17 after finishing as the QB3 last season. He can still turn it around, and he had a 55-242-2 line on the ground. So that's not a huge factor, he just needs to improve upon the 10 TDs in seven games. View him as a mid-to-low-end QB1 for now.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 1:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott struggled for most of the night on Sunday against San Francisco. It wasn't until halfway through the fourth quarter when Prescott and the Cowboys' offense came to life, pushing too little too late. Prescott's two touchdowns both came with under eight minutes remaining in the game. He finished the night 25-for-38 for 243 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. The 31-year-old will be back in action next week with a slightly easier matchup against Atlanta.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 12:13am ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott finished 25-of-38 for 243 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers. He also lost a yard on his only rushing attempt.

Fantasy Spin: Prescott tossed a pair of picks for the third straight game and the fourth time this season. His eight interceptions for the season leave him one shy of his total from 2023. It seems clear at this point that Prescott is trying too hard to compensate for the lack of a running game and a defense that isn't nearly as good as last season. Prescott will be a strong consideration as a low-end QB1 option in Week 9 versus the Atlanta Falcons, who have surrendered at least two passing touchdowns in four straight.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 10:30am ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had his worst performance of the season the last time we saw him. Fresh off of a bye week, Prescott and the Cowboys are back in prime time on Sunday Night Football against San Francisco in Week 8. The matchup is not ideal for Prescott, as the 49ers have allowed the 12th-least fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. The 31-year-old can be considered in two-quarterback leagues, but there are likely better starting options available this week in standard formats.

From RotoBaller

Oct 14 10:50am ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott struggled in the 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Prescott completed 17-of-33 passes for 178 yards and two interceptions, unable to get anything going through the air. He was sacked four times and was eventually pulled for Cooper Rush late in the game. Prescott also scrambled once for one yard. The 31-year-old quarterback was unable to put a single touchdown up in the shellacking as the Cowboys dropped to 3-3 on the season. He remains a low-end QB1 heading into the Cowboys' bye week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 11:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 17 of his 33 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Prescott's rollercoaster of a season continues, and he now has three games with multiple touchdown passes and three games with multiple interceptions. Prescott has plenty of upside, but his lack of cosistency puts him at the lower end of the QB1 ranks.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 10:13pm ET

Dynasty | Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott completed 17-of-33 passes for 178 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in a home blowout loss to Detroit. Dynasty Analysis: Prescott traditionally has some serious ups and downs, but this was a truly awful performance. He routinely missed open receivers and was outdueled by Detroit quarterback Jared Goff on his home turf. With just eight touchdown passes and six interceptions through six games, it's time to start wondering if dynasty teams can truly count on him as a QB1 moving forward this season. In short, it may be time to panic.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Oct 11 10:50am ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott remains a top fantasy option ahead of Week 6's matchup with the Detroit Lions. Prescott is currently third in the league in passing yards per game behind just Geno Smith and Jordan Love and should continue to put up big numbers against Detroit's softer secondary. The Lions' defense has been a pass-funnel defense all season long, as they rank third in run defense but sixteenth in pass defense. Their defensive weaknesses match up well with Dallas' offensive strengths, creating a potential shootout with many fantasy points to go around. Prescott should benefit, as he grades as one of the top quarterback options for Week 6.
