Dynasty | The New York Jets are finalizing a trade to acquire wide receiver Davante Adams from the Raiders, Dynasty Analysis: The Jets had a crushing loss against the Bills last night and clearly want to do everything they can to turn things around. Compensation is reportedly going to include a third round pick that could convert into a second should Adams hit certain incentives. Adams is coming off a soft tissue injury that should magically heal quickly at this point. Now reunited with Aaron Rodgers, Adams should immediately become a target hog and could post WR1 value moving forward.

Dynasty | The Jets are finalizing a trade for Davante Adams, putting Garrett Wilson's role in flux. Dynasty Analysis: Aaron Rodgers is being reunited with his former WR1 in Green Bay and Wilson could be in line for a decrease in targets moving forward. However, dynasty managers really shouldn't panic as Wilson and Rodgers have quickly built a rapport of their own and while his targets may decrease, he may also find some more room to roam with Adams commanding some attention on the other side. Regardless, while this could impact him short-term, Wilson's long-term dynasty future is very bright. Savvy managers will pounce on him should he become available at a reduced rate.

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 23 of his 35 passes for 294 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in a 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 6's Monday night game. Rodgers wound up posting his best passing game of the season, setting a season-high in passing yards while tying his season-best with two touchdown passes. The veteran quarterback found Garrett Wilson for a five-yard touchdown in the first quarter and then found Allen Lazard for a 52-yard score on a Hail Mary at the end of the first half. It wasn't enough, however, as the Bills were able to pull out the close win. Rodgers has thrown for 1,387 yards, nine touchdowns, and five interceptions through six games. He will be a QB2 in fantasy in Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers completed 23-of-35 passes for 294 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers and the Jets offense was a little more explosive after the coaching moves, but the result was the same in the win column. He flirted with 300 yards, but he remains more of a QB2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

Oct 12 6:20pm ET

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 6's Monday night game against the Buffalo Bills. After injuring his ankle in a Week 5 loss, Rodgers practiced on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday before getting upgraded to a full session on Saturday. He will draw a tough matchup against a Buffalo defense that is allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to the quarterback position this season. Rodgers has been a very mediocre fantasy quarterback this season and the tough matchup does not help. Treat him as a mid-range QB2 in fantasy heading into Week 6.

Oct 12 4:43pm ET

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (ankle) practiced in full on Saturday, Oct. 12, after being limited the two days prior and was removed from the injury report for Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers hasn't been too productive this season, with the veteran signal-caller ranking as QB22 overall in terms of fantasy points per game. He's nothing more than a bye week fill-in.

From TheHuddle

Oct 12 4:33pm ET

New York Jets CB Michael Carter II (back) did not practice on Saturday, Oct. 12, and has been ruled out for Week 6. Also, TE Tyler Conklin (hip) and LB C.J. Mosley (toe) were limited and are questionable, and OL Tyron Smith (rest), OL Morgan Moses (knee), QB Aaron Rodgers (ankle), DL Leki Fotu (hamstring) and LB Jamien Sherwood (hand) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Oct 12 12:50am ET

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (ankle) was limited in Friday's practice. He was also limited on Thursday because of a sprained ankle suffered during the loss to the Minnesota Vikings. However, barring a setback, the signal-caller should be good to go for Monday's divisional clash with the Buffalo Bills. Rodgers hasn't had the best 2024-25 campaign, throwing for 1,093 yards, seven touchdowns, and four interceptions while completing 61.0% of his throws. With the Jets looking for answers, the team resorted to firing Robert Saleh and naming Jeff Ulbrich as the interim head coach. But unless things change on the offensive side of the ball for New York moving ahead, Rodgers is a shaky fantasy option in any format.

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 11.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers will be working with a new play caller this week, so it is not known how many times he will be throwing during the game. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but can be avoided in standard leagues.

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers will be working with a new play caller this week and will look to have more success in the passing game. He should only be an option in two-quarterback leagues.

New York Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said on Thursday that passing-game coordinator Todd Downing will take over the offensive play-calling from offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett after the organization fired head coach Robert Saleh earlier this week. Instead of also firing Hackett, the Jets instead are demoting him. Downing will have "the full say on the game plan and, ultimately, the plays that are called within the game," according to Ulbrich. Ulbrich also said he will remain the defensive coordinator and will continue to call plays. In 22 games under Hackett (only five full games with quarterback Aaron Rodgers this year), the Jets' offense ranked among the worst in the league, ranking 29th in points per game (16.4) and 30th in total yards per game (273). Rodgers is averaging only 6.0 yards per attempt, the lowest of his career through five games.

Oct 10 1:10pm ET

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (ankle, hamstring) will be limited in the first practice of the week on Thursday, according to interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich. He said that Rodgers will be ready to go for the Monday night contest in Week 6 against the visiting division-rival Buffalo Bills. The 40-year-old veteran picked up a low-ankle sprain and a hamstring injury in the Week 5 loss in London to the Minnesota Vikings. Despite Rodgers looking to be in significant pain when he injured his ankle, he didn't miss any snaps in the 23-17 loss. The future Hall of Famer should have an easier go of it against a banged-up Bills secondary this week after two rough performances the last two weeks in losses to the Broncos and Vikings. However, Rodgers is still nothing more than a low-end QB2 option in fantasy, at least until/if the Jets pull off a trade to reunite him with receiver Davante Adams.

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers has approved of the decision to shift offensive play-calling from offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett to pass-game coordinator Todd Downing.

Oct 8 7:10pm ET

According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, the New York Jets don't plan on firing offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett after surprisingly firing head coach Robert Saleh on Tuesday. Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich will take over as the team's interim head coach, beginning with a divisional showdown against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football In Week 6. Ulbrich said "everything will be assessed" regarding play-calling on the offensive side. "We're going to take a deep dive on that. We're going to look at all possibilities," Ulbrich said. Although Hackett is going to stick around with his buddy Aaron Rodgers, the Jets may pull the plug on Hackett calling plays on offense. The Jets were expecting their offense to be much better with a healthy Rodgers in 2024, but that hasn't really been the case. They are averaging only 18.6 points a game through five weeks, which is part of the reason why they are the favorites to trade for Raiders receiver Davante Adams.

Oct 7 9:13am ET

Updating previous reports, New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (ankle) is expected to be ready for the Week 6 game after suffering a sprained ankle in Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers will have an extra day of rest with the upcoming game taking place on Monday Night Football. Rodgers is the QB14 right now, and he'll be a less-than-stellar matchup play if the ankle hinders his already questionable mobility.

From TheHuddle

Oct 7 9:00am ET

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (ankle) had a brief moment on the field on Sunday where he was unable to get up after a hit, causing the entire crowd to go quiet. Luckily, the veteran QB could get up and stay on the field to finish the game against the Minnesota Vikings. While speaking to the media, head coach Robert Saleh confirmed that Rodgers suffered a low-ankle sprain and "All the preliminary stuff says he'll be fine." Despite throwing three interceptions in this contest, Rodgers and the offense had brief moments where they flashed their potential. The good news is that he should be able to get on the field in Week 6 with an added day of rest before taking on the Buffalo Bills next Monday night.

Oct 6 5:13pm ET

Dynasty | Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 29-of-54 passes for 244 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in a loss to Minnesota. Dynasty Analysis: After five weeks, a few things are becoming clear. First, Rodgers can still throw the bal with amazing accuracy. Second, his age and recovery from injuries is really limiting his mobility. Finally, this offense is out of synch. Rodgers has been fine but he simply isn't good enough to carry a team at this stage in his career. If the Jets fail to land someone like Davante Adams, this may be the theme all season. For the first time in his career, Rodgers doesn't look like a QB1.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Oct 6 3:03pm ET

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (ankle) said he suffered a low ankle sprain during the Week 5 game.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Rodgers is in any danger of missing the Week 6 game. He can be a possible starting option in two-quarterback leagues but can be avoided in standard leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 2:00pm ET

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 29 of his 54 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions in a 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London in Week 5. Rodgers threw a season-high 54 times as the Jets tried to take advantage of a leaky Minnesota pass defense but he also wound up throwing a season-high in interceptions along the way, including one that was returned 63 yards for a touchdown. The veteran quarterback did suffer a scare in the third quarter as he came up holding his left leg after taking a big hit but he ultimately didn't miss any snaps. He later told reporters that he suffered a sprained lower ankle. Now sitting on seven touchdowns and four interceptions through five games, Rodgers will begin preparing to take on the Buffalo Bills at home in Week 6's Monday night game.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 1:13pm ET

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers completed 29-of-54 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Spin: The Jets found themselves down 17-0 in the second quarter, which explains why Rodgers had to throw so often versus Minnesota. Rodgers' three interceptions were his most since a Week 9 loss to the Detroit Lions in the 2022 season, when he also threw three picks as a member of the Green Bay Packers. He will look to rebound from this performance in Week 7 versus the Buffalo Bills and should continue to be viewed as a QB2 option in fantasy leagues.
