Dec 21 4:40pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs looks to keep his awesome run going in Week 16 as the Packers host the New Orleans Saints. Jacobs has been on fire over the last five games, where he's scored nine touchdowns and averages 21 carries and 112 total yards per game. The Packers have been leaning more and more towards the run in the second half of this season as Green Bay has a bottom-five pass rate over expected. The expectation for Jacobs to continue that rushing volume is there against a Saints team that ranks 28th in defensive EPA per rush attempt. With this excellent matchup looming, it should be no surprise that Jacobs is a must-start option at running back for fantasy managers this week.

Dec 16 12:20am ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was a utilization monster as he touched the ball 30 times and was an integral part of the team's 30-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15. Setting the tone early in game was Jacobs, as he touched the ball in 9-of-10 plays on the game's opening drive that ended on a Jacobs rushing touchdown from one yard out. Jacobs ended the night with 26 carries for 94 yards and a touchdown, as well as catching 4-of-4 targets for 42 yards through the air. It was a continuation of a massive run for Jacobs as he's scored nine touchdowns in his past five games. With the Packers going back home to Lambeau Field to take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 16, Jacobs is a locked-in RB1 and a must-start option for fantasy managers.

Dec 13 5:40pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been a touchdown-scoring machine for the Packers as of late and will look to continue that run going when Green Bay heads west to Seattle to take on the Seahawks in Week 15. Jacobs has scored eight touchdowns in his last four games, including two of those games with three touchdowns scored. Averaging 73 rushing yards, 33 receiving yards, and 24.6 fantasy points per game in the last four contests, Jacobs has been RB2 in that span only behind just Saquon Barkley. Seattle has given up the seventh-most rushing yards per game (109.5) this season, so with the Packers being a run-heavy team overall and gladly giving Jacobs all he can handle in terms of rushing volume, consider Jacobs a locked-in RB1 for Week 15.

Dec 6 12:40am ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs provided most of the Packers' scoring as he was a massive part of the Packers' game plan in their eventual 34-31 loss to the Detroit Lions. Jacobs was solid on the ground, piling up 66 yards on the ground on 18 rushing attempts, but he scored three times to highlight Jacobs' stellar performance. Pacing the Packers' offense as the closer to three of their four touchdown drives, Jacobs plunged in a one-yard score in the second quarter, a six-yard touchdown in the third quarter, and a four-yard plunge. Jacobs almost had a fourth touchdown through the air as well, if not for an offensive pass interference penalty. Week 14 was Jacobs' second three-touchdown game in the last three games, so Jacobs is clearly a must-start fantasy option at running back heading into Week 15's tilt against the Seattle Seahawks.

Dec 4 5:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf) was limited in practice all week but was removed from Wednesday's final injury report and will be available in Week 14 to face the division-rival Lions on the road in Detroit on Thursday night. Jacobs has dealt with a nagging calf injury this year but hasn't missed any time because of it, and the Packers were likely just giving him some extra rest late in the season during light practices this week. The matchup against Detroit's defense on the road isn't ideal for any RB, but Jacobs has been a must-start RB1 in fantasy in his first year in Green Bay, and the Lions will be missing three defensive linemen due to injury this week. In his last five games, Jacobs has been a volume king, averaging 22.4 touches, 118 yards and just over a touchdown per game. In the first meeting against Detroit, he also had 16 touches for 97 scrimmage yards.

Dec 4 1:00pm ET

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says that Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs' calf injury is something that he dealt with in the past this season, and it's more of a nagging issue more than anything. Although Jacobs popped up on the Week 14 injury report and was listed as limited in practice on Monday and Tuesday, there's not much cause for concern. Jacobs could get back to a full practice on Wednesday and be removed from the final injury report altogether. Even if he's listed as questionable for Thursday night's big divisional contest against the Detroit Lions, we'd expect Jacobs to be ready to play while handling his normal lead-back role in the Packers' backfield. The Lions aren't the greatest matchup for an opposing RB, especially at Ford Field, but Jacobs has had enough volume in 2024 to be considered a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 this week.

Dec 3 6:50pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf) was listed as a limited participant in practice on Tuesday for the second straight day this week. There's been no indication that Jacobs' calf injury will put him in danger of sitting out of Thursday's divisional clash against the Detroit Lions, but we'll have a more clear picture after Green Bay releases their final injury report for the week on Wednesday. As of now, fantasy managers should plan on keeping the 26-year-old lead back in their starting lineups for Week 14 action. In his first year with the Packers, Jacobs has been money for fantasy managers as an RB1 with 192.2 total half-PPR points, which ranks him as the RB7 heading into Thursday's game against Detroit. The two-time Pro Bowler has at least 15 touches in each of the team's last eight games, and although the Lions aren't the greatest matchup, Jacobs did go for 95 yards against them back on Nov. 3.

Dec 2 7:00pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf) is included on the Week 14 injury report and was listed as a limited practice participant on Monday with a calf injury. Jacobs' calf injury is worth watching, but as long as he doesn't suffer any sort of setback on Tuesday or Wednesday, he should be ready to roll for a second straight Thursday contest, this time against the division-rival Detroit Lions. The 26-year-old former Raiders back has a streak of five straight games with 100-plus yards from scrimmage, so he should remain in all starting fantasy lineups despite an upcoming unfriendly matchup on the road in a hostile environment. In the last five games, Jacobs has 590 scrimmage yards and seven rushing scores on 112 touches. In the first meeting against the Lions on Nov. 3, Jacobs had 13 carries for 95 yards and caught two passes for 13 additional yards.

Nov 29 12:10am ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has a productive day at the office as the Packers rolled up the Miami Dolphins 30-17 at Lambeau Field. Jacobs took quite a bit of rushing volume but was pretty inefficient with it as he rushed 19 times for 43 yards, but got into the end zone toward the end of the first quarter. Where Jacobs made his night was in the passing game, as he caught 4-of-4 passes for 74 yards, including a 49-yard catch and run in the fourth quarter. Jacobs should be considered a low-end fantasy RB1 for Thursday Night Football, where the Packers will travel to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions.

Nov 27 9:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs could be in store for a huge day in Week 13 when he lines up against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday. The Oklahoma native has been running hot since Week 7, averaging 22.1 fantasy points per game over the five outings. Additionally, while Miami's D may seem like a bad matchup on paper -- allowing the eleventh-fewest rushing yards through 11 games (1,176) -- they've been a favorable spot for fantasy RBs, letting up 19.1 fantasy points per game to the position. The Dolphins have been solid against their opponents' passing attacks, and Green Bay totes the rock 50.95% of the time -- the fifth-highest in the league. The Pack may lean on Jacobs again as they did last week in their win over San Francisco, which could lead to a lucrative fantasy day. The 26-year-old is RotoBaller's PPR RB11 for this week's slate.

Nov 26 4:25pm ET

Packers' RB Josh Jacobs scored 28.60 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 12 win against the 49ers. Jacobs ran for 106 yards with three touchdowns. It's the 2nd time this season Jacobs scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Nov 24 11:13pm ET

Dynasty | Packers running back Josh Jacobs had 106 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a win against San Francisco. Dynasty Analysis: Jacobs was a one-man wrecking crew and nearly matched his season total of four touchdowns with three on the day, putting him up to seven on the campaign. He has been consistently solid all season and is averaging nearly five yards a carry on the year. Today was another reminder he can carry a fantasy team on any given Sunday. Jacobs' dynasty value should be stable after this performance and he could be a solid late-season trade target for a contender as well.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Nov 24 10:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs had his best game as a Packer as he rumbled for three touchdowns in the Packers' 38-10 drubbing over the San Francisco 49ers. Jacobs was a fixture of the 49ers' second level as he ripped off multiple runs of 10-plus yards and ended up with 106 rushing yards on 26 carries. Scoring all three touchdowns from one yard out in the second, third, and fourth quarters, Jacobs was the finisher and was the key part of the Packers' huge win. After this huge game where he no doubt delighted Packers fans and fantasy managers alike, Jacobs will set his sights on the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving. Jacobs will be a locked-in RB1 against Miami in that matchup on Thursday night.

Packers' RB Josh Jacobs ran for 106 yards on 26 carries with three touchdowns in Sunday's win against the 49ers.

Nov 24 7:00pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (cramping) returned to Sunday's matchup against the 49ers. Jacobs has had a stellar showing in Week 12, accumulating 99 yards and two scores off 22 touches. Fortunately, there wasn't much concern regarding his return for this one after he exited due to cramping. However, with the Packers up by two scores heading toward the middle of the fourth quarter, Jacobs may not see much work for the remainder of the contest.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 6:50pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (cramping) is questionable to return to Sunday's meeting with the 49ers. The veteran has had a monster showing in Week 12, amassing 99 yards and two touchdowns off 22 carries. Fortunately, it doesn't appear as if things are serious, so there's a chance he'll return. But with the Packers up in the contest, he may not be needed for the rest of the day, which would open the door for Emanuel Wilson to get more work.

From RotoBaller

Nov 22 7:00pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (quadricep, calf) will suit up for the Packers in Week 12 after practicing in a limited fashion on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Jacobs was left off the injury report for their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers this week, and he could have some success against a 49ers' run defense that is much more susceptible. The 49ers are just 17th in EPA per rush attempt this season and since Week 6, have the second-highest missed-tackle rate since Week 6 and a middle-of-the-road success rate allowed (13th). Jacobs has been reliant on volume for the most part and that's been readily available to him this season in Green Bay. He'll be incredibly important for the Packers if they are to have success, so Jacobs could be in line for solid production as a back end RB1 for fantasy purposes.

From RotoBaller

Nov 21 8:00pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf, quadriceps) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Jacobs was also listed with a quad injury last week but played through it on his way to 18 carries for 76 yards and his fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the win over the division-rival Chicago Bears. He also caught four of five targets for a season-best 58 yards. Jacobs' status is worth watching leading up to Sunday's contest against the visiting San Francisco 49ers, and if he's active, he should be considered a low-end RB1 that should be in most starting fantasy lineups. The 49ers defense hasn't been quite as strong in 2024 as in years past and they've allowed the ninth-most half-PPR points per game to RBs in the last three weeks. The 26-year-old has seen a strong 19.9 touches per game in his first year in Green Bay.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 8:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf, quadriceps) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday due to two injuries. Jacobs played through his quad issue in the Week 11 win over the division-rival Chicago Bears, but the calf issue is a new one. The 26-year-old had another workhorse role last Sunday, seeing 22 touches for 134 scrimmage yards and a rushing score against a tough Bears defense. We'll keep a close eye on his practice status through the rest of the week, but as of right now, Jacobs should be expected to suit up this Sunday for a big NFC matchup against the visiting San Francisco 49ers. If active, Jacobs should remain a low-end RB1 choice for fantasy managers with little competition for touches in Green Bay's backfield. The former Raiders RB enters Week 12 averaging 14.4 half-PPR points, which has him tied for 15th among RBs with Jonathan Taylor.

From RotoBaller

Nov 17 6:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs put up a excellent day en route to the Packers squeaking by the Chicago Bears 20-19 in Week 11. On the ground, Jacobs paced the Packers with 76 yards plus a seven-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Jacobs not only paced the Packers in the rushing department, but also led the team in targets (5) and was second on the team with 58 receiving yards on the afternoon. With Jacobs' prowess on the ground and through the air, he should be looked at as a low-end fantasy RB1 for the Packers' next test against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12.
