Oct 18 12:10am ET

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix didn't score a touchdown and threw for only 164 yards on 16-for-26 passing, but he also ran the ball 10 times for a season-high 75 rushing yards in the 33-10 dismantling of the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football on the road. Nix looked a little nervous early on and missed several wide-open receivers, but he was able to settle in and lead the Broncos to 30-plus points for the second time in the last three weeks. Denver's lockdown defense played a big role in that, but the 24-year-old first-rounder showed more progress and now has avoided turnovers in four of his last five games. There will continue to be ups and downs as Nix navigates his rookie season in the NFL, while his rushing ability is the strongest part of his game currently. Heading into a favorable Week 8 matchup against the Panthers, Nix will be a low-end QB2 with upside in fantasy.

Oct 17 12:10am ET

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix has an opportunity on Thursday night on the road at the Caesars Superdome to continue his positive momentum against the New Orleans Saints. Nix comes into the Week 7 contest as the QB21 in average fantasy points at his position, but he's shown notable progress in the last three weeks with 482 passing yards, five touchdowns and one interception after throwing for 600 yards, no TDs and four picks in his first four NFL games. The Saints defense has allowed 15.1 fantasy points per game to QBs (ninth-fewest), but they've also surrendered the fourth-most passing yards per game (262.2). By no means has Nix been great so far -- Denver's offense is averaging 18.7 points per game -- but he's shown flashes of his potential as the 12th overall pick and has a matchup to exploit this week. Fantasy managers should consider him a low-end QB2 in superflex formats.

Oct 13 11:50pm ET

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix began his NFL career without throwing a single touchdown pass in his first three games, but in the last three games, he has five TD tosses, including two more in the 23-16 Week 6 loss to the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. A lot of Nix's production -- he went 19-for-33 passing for 216 yards, two TDs and an interception -- came late in the second quarter with the Broncos in rush mode while down by 23 points. The 12th overall pick also used his legs to pick up some big chunk gains for first downs, running six times for a season-high 61 yards to lead Denver in rushing. It certainly wasn't pretty for most of this game, but Nix turned it on late to finish with a respectable performance. He has a 5:1 TD-to-interception the last three weeks and has shown progress running the offense. The 24-year-old's fantasy needle is pointing up slightly as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues heading into next Thursday's matchup against the Saints.

Oct 12 6:50am ET

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix should be treated as a low-end QB2 in fantasy in a Week 6 divisional matchup at home against the Los Angeles Chargers, who are coming off their bye week. Nix threw for a measly 60 yards in the Week 4 upset win over the New York Jets but was more efficient in last week's win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders, throwing for 206 yards and two touchdowns. The 24-year-old has shown improvement during the team's current three-game winning streak with a 3:0 TD-to-interception ratio, but he averaged just 5.48 yards gained per pass attempt during that span and will be facing a Bolts defense that has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing QBs through five weeks. Nix doesn't exactly have excellent weapons on offense to take the pressure off of him and enters Week 6 tied with Trevor Lawrence in overall fantasy points as the QB17.

Denver's QB Bo Nix scored 25.20 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 5 win against the Raiders. Nix threw for 206 yards on 19-of-27 with two touchdowns.

Oct 7 1:30am ET

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix went 19-for-27 for 206 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the 34-18 win on Sunday in Week 5 to snap a long losing streak to the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. Nix also had eight carries for nine yards and his third rushing touchdown in five games. The 24-year-old 12th overall pick certainly improved over his 60-yard performance in the Week 4 win over the New York Jets. Nix and the Broncos were able to open their passing game up as much as they have all year, with his two touchdown tosses (one to Jaleel McLaughlin and one to Josh Reynolds) being a season-high through five weeks. The biggest thing is that Nix has avoided turning the ball over in each of their three wins after throwing four interceptions in the first two weeks. Nix led Denver to a season-high 34 points on Sunday, but he'll once again be a low-end QB2 in fantasy in another divisional game in Week 6 against what has been a stingy Chargers defense.

Dynasty | Broncos quarterback Bo Nix completed 19-of-27 passes for 206 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against Las Vegas. Dynasty Analysis: This was a much needed solid game for Nix, who has had his fair share of ups and downs so far this season. Nix played mistake-free football and while he didn't have a huge number of big plays, he looked much more poised in the pocket and very much in control all day. We'll need to see more from Nix before recommending him in lineups but you could do worse for a backup or QB2 on your dynasty league team at the moment.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Oct 4 9:10pm ET

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix will hope to end the franchise's long losing streak in Week 5 on Sunday at home against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. Nix comes into this game as the QB23 in overall fantasy points through his first four NFL games. The 12th overall pick out of Oregon has completed only 60.1% of his passes for 660 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions, adding two touchdowns on the ground. It's safe to say he's struggled early on, but to be fair, it's not like he has great weapons around him in Denver. The 24-year-old threw for just 60 yards and his first NFL TD in the 10-9, Week 4 upset over the New York Jets. The Raiders defense (possibly without Maxx Crosby) presents a softer matchup at home, but fantasy managers should already know not to expect too much for the young signal-caller. Nix should be considered a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues against a Raiders D that ranks 18th in fantasy points allowed to QBs per week through four games.

Sep 30 12:30am ET

On a day in which Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix threw for 60 yards, the Broncos still got a win over the New York Jets by a score of 10-9 on Sunday in Week 4 because of another stellar effort from the defense/special teams unit. Denver's D held QB Aaron Rodgers and the Jets to 248 total yards and zero TDs while sacking the future Hall of Famer five times and recovering a fumble early in the first half. It helped that offense in general was hard to come by on a dreary and slippery rain-soaked day in the Big Apple, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the Broncos' defense has been much better than expected through the first four weeks of 2024. Through Sunday's games this week, the Broncos D/ST has been a top-10 unit and is now firmly on the rise in fantasy as at least a streaming option with a Week 5 matchup against the division-rival Raiders upcoming.

Sep 30 12:00am ET

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix led his second straight upset road win over the New York Jets on Sunday on a rain-soaked afternoon by the score of 10-9. After his best game of his young NFL career in Week 3 against the Bucs, Nix unsurprisingly took a step back against a tough defense in adverse conditions, going 12-for-25 for just 60 yards, although he did throw the first touchdown of his career and avoided turnovers for the second straight week. His lone TD pass was a hook-up with receiver Courtland Sutton in the back of the end zone. He added five carries for three yards. The 24-year-old led the Broncos to just 186 total yards on the day and has thrown for one touchdown through his first four games in his rookie campaign. Nix has intriguing rushing ability and a strong arm, but he's inexperienced and doesn't have a great supporting cast. There's just very little fantasy upside right now, although he's heading into a much better matchup against Vegas in Week 5.

Sep 29 6:13pm ET

Dynasty | Broncos quarterback Bo Nix completed 12-of-25 passes for 60 yards and a touchdown in a 10-9 road win against the Jets. Dynasty Analysis: Denver somehow won the game, despite generating just 186 yards of total offense. Nix wasn't able to create much of anything through the air but also didn't make any critical mistakes to cost the Broncos the game. This amounted to be one of the ugliest contests you'll ever see. He won't be a recommended option moving forward but his touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton was the first of his career today.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Sep 28 10:20am ET

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix had the best game of his young career in leading the Broncos to their first win of the season in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nix completed a season-high 69.4% of his passes for 216 yards and didn't throw a pick after throwing four in his first two games. He also ran nine times for 47 yards and a touchdown. It represented progress for the 12th overall pick, mainly because he didn't turn the ball over and wasn't sacked at all. But the 24-year-old averaged only 6.0 yards per attempt and has yet to throw a TD pass through his first three games. It wouldn't be a surprise at all to see Nix take a step back in Week 4 on the road against a New York Jets defense that is allowing 12.4 fantasy points to QBs (lowest in the league) through three weeks. The Jets also allow the eighth fewest points per game. Nix is a QB3 in fantasy in Week 4.

Sep 22 11:50pm ET

While it was by no means an excellent performance, Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix had the best game of his young career in the 26-7 victory on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday to pick up the first win of his career. Nix went 25-for-36 through the air for 216 yards while tying for the team lead with nine carries for 47 yards and a touchdown on the ground. He was able to avoid turning the ball over for the first time this year and looked much more comfortable throwing the ball into tight windows. Nix's rushing TD was his second of the year, but he has still yet to throw a touchdown pass through three games. The 24-year-old took a notable step forward in Week 3 and has shown his upside with his feet, but he still has a ways to go in his development and will be no better than a shaky low-end QB2 for a Week 4 date against a tough New York Jets defense.

Sep 22 7:13pm ET

Dynasty | Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix completed 25-of-36 passes for 217 yards, adding 47 rushing yards and a touchdown in Denver's blowout win against Tampa Bay. Dynasty Analysis: Nix took a big step forward today, making smart throws and essentially taking what the Bucs gave him. This was his best game so far this season and he certainly looked very comfortable all day today. Nix still needs to string together a few solid games, but this was a major step forward. He remains a solid QB2 hold in dynasty leagues.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Sep 20 9:00pm ET

Things haven't gone swimmingly in Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix's first two career regular-season starts, as he's completed 59.7% of his 77 pass attempts for 384 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions in losses to the Seahawks and Steelers. On the ground, he's run the ball nine times for 60 yards and one touchdown. Nix will be on the road in Tampa to face the Buccaneers in Week 3, and while this is probably his best matchup of the year so far -- the Bucs D has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs through two weeks -- fantasy managers should still consider the 12th overall pick out of Oregon as a QB3. Head coach Sean Payton has had a very conservative game plan so far to help ease the young signal-caller in at the next level. Nix is averaging just 5.0 yards per attempt and 8.3 yards per completion, and the ground game hasn't helped him at all.

From RotoBaller

Sep 16 1:40pm ET

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton said he saw improvements from rookie quarterback Bo Nix from Week 1 to Week 2. "I feel a confident player. From that standpoint, I'm encouraged," Payton said. Through his first two regular-season NFL games, Nix has struggled, going 46-for-77 (59.74%) for 384 yards with no touchdowns and four interceptions. He's carried the ball nine times for 60 yards and one touchdown. The 24-year-old first-rounder from Oregon did move the ball through the air better in the Week 2 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he failed to lead a single TD drive and isn't really testing defenses down the field. Fantasy managers weren't really expecting much out of Nix in his first NFL season, and he should have a long leash. Going into Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he'll be a QB3 in superflex leagues.

From RotoBaller

Sep 16 12:10am ET

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix looked shaky again in his second career NFL game in the 13-6 loss to the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in Denver. Nix and the Broncos offense had almost zero highlights on the day, although they did outgain the Steelers offense 295 to 251. The first-round rookie signal-caller failed to lead the team to a single touchdown drive on the day, going 20-for-35 for 246 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions while carrying the ball four times for 25 yards on the ground. Nix's first pick was a throw off his heels in the pocket into coverage in the back of the end zone in the third quarter. He also ended the contest with a desperation heave down the field. Things won't get any easier for the 24-year-old in a Week 3 road contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he'll be a QB3 in fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 10:13pm ET

Dynasty | Broncos quarterback Bo Nix completed 20-of-35 passes for 246 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in the Broncos loss to Pittsburgh. Dynasty Analysis: Nix was only able to lead the offense to six total points on the day. Sadly, he also led the team in rushing yards for the second straight week with just 25 yards. This offense has been unimaginative and stale through two weeks and Nix is getting next to nothing from his running game, making life that much harder. Nix will look to bounce back next week, but a trip to Tampa Bay isn't exactly a recipe for success for a rookie quarterback struggling to make things work with pieces who are seemingly less talented than those featured by their opponent.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Sep 13 9:50pm ET

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix was a little wobbly, as expected, in the Week 1 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on the road, but head coach Sean Payton mostly thinks that the team's offensive weapons need to step up around Nix. The 24-year-old Oregon product finished 26-for-42 for 138 yards and two interceptions while carrying the ball five times for 35 yards and a rushing TD. Thirteen of his completions went for four or fewer yards. At best, Nix will be a low-end QB2 option for fantasy managers in superflex leagues against a swarming Steelers defense. Expect Denver to prioritize the ground game a bit more against Pittsburgh while continuing to mostly give Nix shorter targets to help him succeed and build his confidence. The Steelers held Kirk Cousins to 155 yards passing in Week 1. Nix has a tough opening schedule, so fantasy managers should expect more growing pains.

From RotoBaller

Sep 9 12:13am ET

Dynasty | Broncos quarterback Bo Nix completed 26-of-42 passes for 138 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in a season-opening loss at Seattle. Dynasty Analysis: Nix actually led the Broncos in rushing with 35 yards and a touchdown but he really struggled, making a few other ill-advised throws that also could have been picked off. Nix looked like a typical rookie in his first NFL start, so there's no need to panic. Still, he should be firmly on dynasty benches until we see him string a few good games together.
