2024 RTSports Outlook

Iosivas had just 15 receptions his rookie season but four of those were touchdowns. He had a knack for the end zone, including a two-touchdown performance the last week of the season. His playing time was sporadic in a pretty crowded Bengals receiver room. Iosivas could move up the depth chart a little this year, though, and challenge for that No. 3 job. Iosivas runs good routes, has solid hands and does well on contested catches. Drops are a concern after having two in limited work last year.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Iosivas has a little upside for the coming year. He could increase his catch total a decent amount with more chances. But even with that said, he will be a stretch for fantasy teams. He might get get 30 receptions for 300 yards and a few touchdowns.

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but 2023 sixth-round pick Andrei Iosivas could have a lead on him in the battle for the WR3 job following Tyler Boyd's departure. "For all the hype of Burton and his potential to make an impact filling the role vacated by Boyd, there's just no way to avoid the Andrei Iosivas hype," Paul Dehner Jr. of the Athletic said. " He's been the offensive star of camp, a trend that continued after his initial eye-popping debut playing in the slot for the first time in his life Wednesday." Dehner Jr. noted that Bengals wide receiver coach Troy Walters called Iosivas the team's third-best wide receiver last week. This position battle will be important to monitor in fantasy football, especially since Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins have failed to play a full 17-game schedule over the last two years. Iosivas caught 15 passes for 116 yards and four touchdowns in his rookie campaign, but his path to playing time is a lot more clear heading into Year 2. He should be on the fantasy football radar as a late-round dart throw in best ball setups and deep fantasy leagues.

With Cincinnati Bengals star wideout Ja'Marr Chase holding out early on in training camp, Andrei Iosivas has taken advantage of extra opportunities in practice and has been impressive. Iosivas spent the entire day on Wednesday working out of the slot for the first time in his life and looked like he belonged. He moved back outside on Thursday and caught everything thrown his way. The former sixth-rounder last year made significant strides in the offseason thanks to work with receivers coach Drew Lieberman in Atlanta. "He had a great spring," wide receivers coach Troy Walters said. "You want to get your best three players on the field. Right now, he's probably No. 3 and playing well." Iosivas will be competing with Jermaine Burton for the No. 3 job and could see a Year 2 leap if he wins the job.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas has put in extra work this offseason, hoping to be more productive in his second year in the National Football League. "I would say Andrei and Chase (Brown) made the fastest improvement of any players I've ever had in the program," said head coach Zac Taylor. "I've never had two players improve faster." The 24-year-old showed flashes of promise during the 2023-24 campaign, finishing the season with 15 catches for 116 yards and four touchdowns. With Tyler Boyd no longer in the equation and Tee Higgins uncertain to remain in Cincinnati beyond this season, Iosivas could find himself lining up opposite Ja'Marr Chase at some point in the near future. While he has a way to go before earning the trust of redraft fantasy participants, he's worth stashing in dynasty formats.
