Dynasty | Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 22-of-32 passes for 211 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against Houston. Dynasty Analysis: Rodgers had stated earlier this week that he was in the darkness, but apparently emerged on Thursday night in what was undoubtedly a must-win for the now 3-6 Jets. Rodgers looked like his old self at times and while he can't scramble the way he used to, he can still throw the ball accurately when he has time. His dynasty slide is likely to continue as he's still not better than a QB2 at the moment. Still, this was a step in the right direction.
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 22 of his 32 passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns in a 21-13 win over the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game. That goes into the books as Rodgers' first game with more than two touchdown passes all season as he helped pull off the home win. Two of Rodgers' touchdown passes went to Garrett Wilson while the last one was a 37-yard strike to Davante Adams in the fourth quarter, the first touchdown connection for the two since Adams was acquired in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of Week 7. Locked in as a QB2 in fantasy, Rodgers will take 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions into his Week 10 matchup, which will be on the road against the Arizona Cardinals.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers completed 22 of 32 passes for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns during the team's Week 9 win over the Houston Texans.
Fantasy Spin: Absolutely abysmal in a scoreless first half, Rodgers and the Jets turned things around after halftime with the veteran quarterback connecting once with Davante Adams and twice with Garrett Wilson, including one on a spectacular catch. That's four times in five games that Rodgers has thrown for multiple scores, and Thursday night was also the first hint that he and Adams might look something like the duo they were in Green Bay. Rodgers remains a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes, but you can at least call what we saw progress.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, knee) has thrown for two touchdowns in three of his past four games. He will look for his first three-touchdown game of the season in Week 9's Thursday night game against the Houston Texans. Rodgers has been dealing with an assortment of injuries of late, including to his hamstring and knee but he practiced fully on Tuesday and Wednesday and is good to go for Thursday. The Texans are allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game but Rodgers has yet to post a ceiling game in a disappointing Jets offense this season. Treat him as a low-end QB2 for Week 9.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 9. The Jets did not hold a practice, so his practice participation is an estimation.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers has thrown at least two touchdowns in five of his eight games this season and did not throw an interception for the first time in four games last week. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but can be avoided in standard leagues.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, knee) was a full participant during practice Tuesday, Oct. 29. The Jets did not hold a practice Tuesday, so this is an estimation.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers is likely to play and should be considered a QB2 option.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Monday, Oct. 28. The Jets did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers played well against the New England Patriots in the last game but will be facing a good Houston Texans defense in Week 9. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but should be avoided in standard leagues.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 17 of his 28 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns in a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8. Rodgers and the Jets turned in an uneven performance in losing to the underdog Patriots as they struggled to move the ball at times and were unable to hold onto a five-point lead with three minutes left in the fourth quarter. Rodgers' touchdown passes went to Tyler Conklin and Xavier Gipson in the close loss to their AFC East rivals. The veteran quarterback came into the game dealing with hamstring and knee injuries but he appeared to emerge from the contest without any further injury. Rodgers will look to regroup ahead of Week 9's Thursday night game against the Houston Texans.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers went 17-for-28 for 233 yards and two touchdowns against the New England Patriots in Week 8.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers has thrown at least two touchdowns in three of the last four games but also has six interceptions during that time. He had a good group of receivers to work with but should only be an option in two-quarterback leagues at this point.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 25, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers will look to bounce back from a disappointing Week 7 game and will have had a week of practice with Davante Adams. He likely will have more success against the New England Patriots but is still only an option in two-quarterback leagues.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets S Ashtyn Davis (concussion), DL Leki Fotu (knee) and OG Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 8 against the New England Patriots. S Tony Adams (hamstring) and WR Allen Lazard (chest) also did not practice all week and are listed as doubtful. OT Morgan Moses (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable. TE Kenny Yeboah (abdomen) practiced in full all week but is also listed as questionable. CB Michael Carter II (back), DE Will McDonald (shoulder), QB Aaron Rodgers (knee, hamstring), OT Tyron Smith (rest), LB Quincy Williams (neck), TE Tyler Conklin (hip), CB D.J. Reed (groin) and LB Chazz Surratt (heel) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 25, and no longer appear on the injury report.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee, hamstring) logged a second consecutive limited practice on Thursday. The veteran signal-caller hasn't missed a snap since Week 1, but his injury status is one to monitor as it could impact his availability for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The last time he faced New England, Rodgers racked up 281 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Assuming he plays in Week 8, he'll rank as a mid-to-high fantasy QB2.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 24.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers is dealing with multiple injuries but should be available for the Week 8 game. He has a very good group of receivers to work with in the passing game but is probably only an option in two-quarterback leagues.
From TheHuddle
Updating a previous report, New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 23. The Jets did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers has struggled at times over the last three weeks with five touchdowns and six interceptions during that span. He should have success this week against the New England Patriots but is only a starting option in some two-quarterback leagues.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (hamstring, ankle, knee) is dealing with unspecified hamstring, ankle and knee injuries and will be limited at practice on Wednesday, Oct. 23, but is expected to play in Week 8, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers is barely on the QB2 radar through seven weeks, and his trio of ailments only add to the concern when it comes to starting him. You can probably do better in Week 8.
From TheHuddle
According to interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee, ankle, hamstring) is dealing with a multitude of injuries, as Jonathan Jones of CBS reported. Per ESPN's Rich Cimini, the 40-year-old veteran is listed as limited for Wednesday's team practice. Rodgers has dealt with ankle and knee injuries thus far in 2024, but the soft tissue issue is new. The QB's hamstring apparently "flared up" during New York's 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Fortunately, the sentiment around the team seems to be that it won't put his status at risk for Week 8. Still, fantasy managers may want to keep an eye on him over the coming days. The Jets will line up against the New England Patriots in a divisional clash this Sunday.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of his 39 passes for 276 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. Rodgers has uncharacteristically struggled to take care of the ball of late, throwing six interceptions over his past three games. The veteran quarterback threw his lone touchdown to Tyler Conklin in the lopsided loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday night. Rodgers has now thrown for 1,663 yards, 10 touchdowns, and seven interceptions through seven games this season. Settled in as a QB2 in fantasy moving forward, Rodgers will take on the New England Patriots on the road in Week 8. He threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns back when these two teams met in Week 3.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers completed 24-of-39 passes for 276 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while he did not have a rushing attempt.
Fantasy Spin: It was just the third time this season where Rodgers failed to get to two touchdown throws. He is averaging 285.0 passing yards per game across the past two starts. Still, he remains more of a QB2 heading into Week 8 against the New England Patriots.
From TheHuddle
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (ankle) is coming off one of his best games of the season as he threw for a season-high 294 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. He will look to keep it going on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7's Sunday night game. The Steelers have been tough on opposing quarterbacks this season, allowing the 28th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Rodgers is still dealing with a nagging ankle injury which held him out of practice on Wednesday but he is listed without an injury designation heading into Sunday. The Jets' early-week acquisition of Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders should provide a boost for Rodgers but he still sets up as a low-end QB2 heading into a difficult Week 7 matchup.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers will have a familiar receiver to work with in Davante Adams this week and also has several other good pass catchers on offense. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but probably can be avoided in standard leagues.
