Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (back) experienced some back tightness in the Week 9 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, according to an NFL source. However, Barkley said that he will be ready for Sunday's Week 9 divisional clash against the Dallas Cowboys. Barkley had a monstrous day against Jacksonville but was seen for a bit on the sidelines wincing before eventually re-entering the game. He appears to be on track to play in Week 10, but it's something that fantasy managers should monitor throughout the week. Don't be surprised if Barkley misses some practice time but ultimately plays against Dallas, where he'll be a no-doubt, must-start, high-end RB1 in fantasy. Barkley had 27 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown and added three catches for 40 yards and another TD against the Jags and is the RB2 in overall fantasy points in 2024, behind only Derrick Henry.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 27 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown, added three receptions for 40 yards and an additional score, and lost a fumble during the team's 28-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 27-year-old's 199 scrimmage yards were his most in a single game this season, and he posted his best numbers as a receiver this year as well. Quarterback Jalen Hurts did not take any goal line opportunities away from Barkley this week, and got things started for the Eagles and threw a 20-yard score to the star back to give Philadelphia its first points scored in the first quarter all season. The Eagles may be without A.J. Brown (knee) for the second time in 2024, but regardless of his status next week the Eagles will likely lean on Barkley again as they face a struggling Dallas team.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed 27 times for 159 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 40 yards and another score in a 28-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.

Dynasty | Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had 159 rushing yards, three catches, 40 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a win against Jacksonville. Dynasty Analysis: Barkley was seemingly a high-risk selection in dynasty drafts this off-season, but it's hard to see this marriage with Philadelphia having gone any better. Barkley is off to a dominant RB1 start to the year and could end up being the top overall running back in fantasy football this season. His dynasty value is climbing by the week yet again.

Philadelphia's RB Saquon Barkley ran for 159 yards on 27 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win against the Jaguars. It was Barkley's 3rd consecutive 100+ yard rushing performance. He has averaged 148 yards rushing in those games.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will take on the 2-6 Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. The 27-year-old crossed the century mark in scrimmage yards gained for the sixth time in seven games last week during the Eagles' statement win over the Bengals but left fantasy managers wanting more with no touchdowns scored. He has the chance to rectify that this week against the Jaguars. Jacksonville allows the sixth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this year and struggles to keep offenses out of the red zone in general. Barkley has about the safest fantasy scoring floor in the league and that is no different this week. He should be considered a top-three option heading into the weekend.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 22 carries for 108 yards and caught one of his three targets for a three-yard gain during the team's 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. After thrashing the Giants last week, the 27-year-old crossed the century mark in scrimmage yards for the second week in a row and for the sixth time in seven games played. The story here that is sure to frustrate fantasy managers is the three rushing touchdowns scored by quarterback Jalen Hurts. Two of these touchdowns were done via the brotherly shove while the other was a designed run for Hurts inside the 10. This was a fear heading into the season for Barkley, but he has been so productive in every other aspect that it has not caused fantasy managers many issues. The star back now faces a terrible Jacksonville defense that is reeling after a tough loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed for 108 yards on 22 carries against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8.
Fantasy Spin: Barkley posted his third 100-yard game of the season this week and will continue to see plenty of touches in the offense moving forward. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Eagles' RB Saquon Barkley ran for 108 yards on 22 carries but no touchdowns in Sunday's win in Cincinnati. It was Barkley's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard rushing performance. He has averaged 142 yards rushing in those games.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will go on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. The 27-year-old nearly broke his career rushing record in the team's win over his former team, the New York Giants, last week and ended the day with 187 total yards and a touchdown. With that revenge game behind him, Barkley looks to take on a Bengals defense that is much better at stopping the run than they are at stopping the pass. Quarterback Jalen Hurts only needed to throw 14 times last week, but do not expect the same run-heavy game script this week against the Bengals. Barkley is a set-it-and-forget-it RB1, but this game could see him being more involved as a receiver if the Eagles have to try and play catchup.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 25, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.
Fantasy Spin: Barkley will see a significant amount of touches this week against the Cincinnati Bengals and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley will continue to see a significant amount of touches this week against the Cincinnati Bengals and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (non-injury) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Fantasy Spin: Barkley is coming off a monster Week 7 performance and should see plenty of touches again this week. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia's RB Saquon Barkley scored 26.70 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 7 win in New York Giants. Barkley ran for 176 yards and caught two passes for 11 yards with one touchdown. It's the 3rd time this season Barkley scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 17 carries for 176 yards and a touchdown, adding two receptions for 11 yards during the team's 28-3 win over the New York Giants. The former No. 2 overall pick was stifled on the first carry of the game to a roar of cheers, and then hit stick a Giants defender two plays later. This was the start to a massive performance with multiple runs of over 20 yards against a solid Giants defensive line. Barkley was a man on a mission this week, and he will likely end the week as the No. 1 back in fantasy. With that load off his back, he will look to have another successful outing next week when the Eagles travel to Cincinnati to play Joe Burrow and the Bengals.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed 17 times for a season-high 176 yards and a touchdown in Week 7 against the New York Giants, his former team. He also picked up 11 yards on a pair of receptions on three targets.
Fantasy Spin: It was Barkley's third 100-yard performance of the season, and he has scored at least one touchdown in each of those showings. Barkley has been a dominant RB1 for fantasy managers in all formats. He'll look to make it consecutive games with 100 or more yards for the first time this season when Philly visits Cincinnati in Week 8.
From TheHuddle
Eagles' RB Saquon Barkley ran for 176 yards on 17 carries with one touchdown for a trememdous 10.4 yards per carry in Sunday's win in New York Giants.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley returns home to face the team that made him a first-round draft selection in 2018, the New York Giants, in Week 7. The 27-year-old will look to keep his strong season rolling against his former team, who currently allow the 11th fewest fantasy points per game to running backs through six weeks. Barkley posted a season-low 54 total yards last week against the Cleveland Browns, but he still amassed 20 opportunities and will assuredly be given a strong workload against his former squad. While expectations may need to be managed due to the matchup, fantasy managers should have no worries firing up the former Giants starting back in this "revenge game".
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 18 carries for 47 yards and caught both of his targets for a gain of seven yards during the team's 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 6. This was by far the worst outing for the star back as a part of the Eagles, as he was stymied at just about every turn when handed the ball Sunday. The biggest run of the day for Philadelphia was by Kenneth Gainwell, who gained 19 yards on a carry in his very limited role. While the stat line is disappointing, especially considering the matchup, there is no reason to worry about the 27-year-old moving forward. Next week will loom large on Barkley's mind as he is set to visit his former team, the New York Giants. The revenge game narrative will headline the matchup and fantasy managers shouldn't hesitate to keep him in the starting lineup.
