Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Akins ended up with three catches for 32 yards on four targets in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Akins had four receptions for 42 yards on four targets in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Akins caught all three of his targets for 22 yards and a touchdown in a 34-13 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 5. Akins scored Cleveland's only touchdown in garbage time as he hauled in a 10-yard score with 7:06 left in the game, cutting the Commanders' lead to 34-12. The veteran tight end was expected to see his role scaled back with David Njoku returning from an ankle injury in Week 5, but Njoku injured his knee during the loss to the Commanders and could be looking at another absence. Akins is worth a look in deep leagues and tight-end premium formats if Njoku ends up missing time with his latest ailment.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Akins ended up with three catches for 22 yards and a touchdown on three targets in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Akins was good for a 10-yard reception on two targets in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Akins will get another turn as the team's starter with David Njoku (ankle) ruled out for a Week 4 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Akins drew seven targets in Week 3, but he turned those looks into just four catches for 29 yards in the loss to the New York Giants. He will go against a Raiders defense allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to tight ends in 2024. Akins holds some value as an option in two tight-end leagues but he is not a starting option outside of that format. Great him as a high-end TE3 heading into the weekend.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Akins had a productive game in a 21-15 loss to the New York Giants in Week 3. Akins caught four of his seven targets for 29 yards in the loss, tying for second on the team in targets and catches and third in receiving yardage. The veteran tight end has now drawn two starts in place of the injured David Njoku (ankle) and could remain in a starting role for another week or so if Njoku is not ready to play in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Akins had four receptions for 29 yards on seven targets in Week 3 against the New York Giants.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Akins caught his lone target for a 10-yard gain in an 18-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Week 1 injury to David Njoku (ankle) made Akins an interesting sleeper candidate heading the game against Jacksonville but he only drew the one target from Deshaun Watson in the win as the Browns instead went a bit more run-heavy than they did last week. Akins is unlikely to be a major part of the Cleveland passing offense, even while Njoku is sidelined. He can stay on waivers heading into a Week 3 matchup against the New York Giants.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Akins had one reception for 10 yards on one target in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Spin: Akins was starting with David Njoku sidelined by an ankle injury. This is proof that, even as a starter, Akins isn't someone to bother with in fantasy football. The Browns host the New York Giants in Week 3.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Akins finds himself as the only healthy tight end on the active 53-man roster heading into Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars after starting TE David Njoku (ankle) has already been ruled out due to an ankle injury he sustained in the Week 1 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. One of the three TEs on the practice squad -- Geoff Swaim, Cameron Latu and Blake Whitehurst -- will likely be elevated on game day this Sunday to back up Akins. Akins played 57% of the offensive snaps in Week 1 and had three catches for 27 yards. The 32-year-old could be the TE1 in Cleveland for multiple weeks, too, making him worth a flier for TE depth in the deepest of fantasy leagues. Despite Njoku's injury, Akins is still only rostered in 2% of Yahoo leagues with Week 2 quickly approach. In what looked like a bad Browns offense in Week 1, not much will be expected of Akins.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Akins registered three catches for 27 yards on four targets in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Fantasy Spin: Akins was seeing some extra run with David Njoku exiting the game early due to what was suspected to be a high-ankle sprain. If Chief missed time, Akins would likely step into the lineup. The Browns face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2, but Akins would only be worth a look in the deepest of fantasy leagues and as a cheap DFS option.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Akins will be the team's TE2 on the roster, but the Browns are expected to monitor preseason cuts for young or veteran tight ends to add to their depth.
