A move to Chicago was a good one for Moore, having his best season as a pro with his new team. Moore was sixth overall in fantasy receiver scoring. He had 96 receptions for 1,364 yards and nine total touchdowns. Moore had six games with 20-plus fantasy points, showing a very high weekly ceiling. And he did this some of the season with quarterback issues. He gets a rookie throwing to him this season, which is a bit of a concern, and the addition of Keenan Allen could cut into his targets as well. Either way, Moore is the top receiver for the Bears. Moore has 1,100-plus receiving yards four of five seasons and two of those year with 90-plus catches. Moore is a fast receiver with good moves in space. He catches the ball very well and does well on shorter or longer routes. He lacks a little size but makes up for that with his hands and play after the catch.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Moore could see a dip in production a little but should be close to being a top-10 fantasy receiver once again. He is going to have some huge games along the way. Look for Moore to get around 90 receptions for 1,300 yards and seven touchdowns.
D.J. Moore enters his second season with Chicago after generating career-best numbers in a plethora of categories during 2023. His ADP soared to Round 2 (18/WR9) in best-ball leagues during February as he appeared positioned to approach the 28.8% target share that he captured while flourishing with Justin Fields under center. Moore also finished ninth in points per game (16.9), while rising to fifth in air yards share (42.6%), and sixth in receiving yards (1,364 /80.2 per game). He was also eighth in both touchdowns (eight), and yards after catch (539), and 12th in receptions (96/5.6 per game), while establishing career highs in each of those categories. He also vaulted to second in routes run per team dropback (89.8%) according to Fantasy Points Data. Moore will now operate in a Bears offense that has undergone a massive transformation during the offseason. Six-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen was acquired from the Chargers in March. Chicago also launched the NFL Draft by seizing Caleb Williams with the first overall selection and securing Rome Odunze just eight picks later. Moore should maintain his status as Chicago's WR1 while leading the Bears in target share, and yardage. However, the additions of Allen, Odunze, and D'Andre Swift will impede Moore from replicating last year's usage and production. Moore should still function as a WR2 for managers. That makes him a viable target ln Round 3 of dynasty startup drafts and best-ball drafts.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore played in his first game after signing a $110 million extension in Saturday's 33-6 preseason win against the Bills. Moore saw his first action with quarterback Caleb Williams and caught two of three targets for 27 yards, despite only playing the first two drives. Although many high-profile players like Moore often sit out preseason games, developing game chemistry with Williams is crucial for their success this season. Moore's next chance to suit up comes on Saturday at home against the Bengals.

Dynasty | The Bears have signed wide receiver DJ Moore to a contract extension. Dynasty Analysis: It's the largest contract extension in team history and pays Moore $110 million over four years with nearly $83 million guaranteed. This contract puts him right in line with megastuds Justin Jefferson and AJ Brown in terms of receiver contracts. The Bears struck gold last year by trading the top pick in the NFL Draft to the Panthers for what ended up being Caleb Williams (this year's #1) and Moore. After a 96/1,364/8 season, Moore is now locked in long-term and remains a low-end WR1 moving forward. Meanwhile, the Bengals and Cowboys are clearly losing any leverage with Ja'Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb, respectively.
On Tuesday evening, wide receiver DJ Moore and the Chicago Bears agreed to a four-year deal worth $110 million, with $86 million guaranteed, per Adam Schefter. With two years remaining on his previous deal, Moore now joins the ranks of other big-name wide receivers who have signed lucrative extensions this offseason, like Justin Jefferson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and a host of others. Moore spent the first five seasons of his career in Carolina, but it was after being traded to the Bears last offseason that Moore became a true WR1. For the Bears in 2023, Moore set career-highs in receptions (96), receiving yards (1,364), and total touchdowns (nine) en route to his top-10 fantasy season at wide receiver. This extension secures Moore's future in Chicago with rookie signal-caller Caleb Williams, and for fantasy, places Moore as a rock-solid WR2 in drafts.

Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension with the Bears Tuesday, July 30, worth $110 million. The deal includes $82.6 million in guaranteed money.
Fantasy Spin: Moore should be a big part of the passing game for the Bears this season and likely will be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams, RB D'Andre Swift and WRs Keenan Allen and DJ Moore are among the players who will not play in the Hall Of Fame Game on Thursday, Aug. 2.
From TheHuddle
Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore's current contract runs through the 2025 season, so nothing is urgent at this time, but he's currently 17th among wideouts in terms of average salary and is coming off a career year in his first year in Chicago in which he caught 96 passes on 136 targets for a career-high 1,364 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 17 starts. Moore has become one of the faces of the franchise, and general manager Ryan Poles might want to reward him with a new deal sooner than later. Fellow receiver Keenan Allen will be a free agent after the 2024 season and is likely to enter the year on an expiring contract, as the Bears want to see what he has left at 32 before considering keeping him around beyond one year. Moore certainly has more competition for targets with Allen around now, but he's a pretty safe WR2 target this fall.
