Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice as they prepare to face the Dallas Cowboys. Jones suffered a shoulder injury in Week 13's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but was able to play and produce in the 31-0 win over the Washington Commanders. Jones' shoulder injury doesn't appear to be a hindering factor in Week 15, as he prepares for a former foe in the Cowboys. They have given up the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs this season, and Jones has dominated them in the past, averaging 157 scrimmage yards and scoring six touchdowns in three career games against them. Assuming Jones is cleared for this week, he is a solid RB2 option for fantasy managers this week.

Minnesota Vikings OT Christian Darrisaw (knee) and TE T.J. Hockenson (shin) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 10. WR Jordan Addison (Achilles), OG Donovan Jackson (ankle), S Theo Jackson (neck), RB Aaron Jones (shoulder), S Josh Metellus (shoulder), DT Levi Drake Rodriguez (neck), RB Ty Chandler (knee), DT Jonathan Allen (non-injury), DT Javon Hargrave (non-injury), WR Justin Jefferson (non-injury), C Ryan Kelly (non-injury), OT Brian O'Neill (non-injury) and S Harrison Smith (non-injury) were limited during practice.

Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Fantasy Spin: Jones was able to play in the last game despite the injury and should be available again this week as long as he does not suffer a setback. He will see a majority of the carries in the running game if he plays and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. put together a solid, if unremarkable, fantasy day by rushing for 76 yards on only 14 carries as the Vikings routed Washington 31-0 on Sunday. While the veteran was effective on the ground, his overall fantasy output was lessened with no touchdowns and no catches on a single target. Backfield mate Jordan Mason scored the lone rushing touchdown of the game as Minnesota split carries 14-11 in favor of Jones. Most encouragingly, quarterback J.J. McCarthy completed 16 of 23 passes and threw three touchdowns with no interceptions, and the offense predictably opened up with some semblance of a passing game. Managers will hope for a similar showing from Jones and the Vikings in a plus matchup with Dallas in Week 15.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones rushed 14 times for 76 yards in Week 14 against the Washington Commanders, and he did not have a reception on a single target.
Fantasy Spin: The Vikings build a big lead, and they rushed the ball 34 times, to just 23 pass plays. Jones and Jordan Mason nearly split the carries down the middle. While Jones had 5.4 yards per carry (YPC), to just 4.7 YPC for Mason, the latter did record the team's only rushing touchdown. Treat Jones and Mason each as more of a RB3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 15.

Minnesota Vikings S Theo Jackson (neck) and DT Levi Drake Rodriguez (neck) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 5, and have been ruled out for Week 14. OG Donovan Jackson (ankle) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. RB Ty Chandler (knee) and OT Christian Darrisaw (knee) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. LB Jonathan Greenard (shoulder), RB Aaron Jones (shoulder), S Josh Metellus (shoulder), DT Jonathan Allen (non-injury), DT Javon Hargrave (non-injury) and S Harrison Smith (non-injury) were limited during practice but are not on the injury report. OG Blake Brandel (concussion), C Ryan Kelly (hip), QB J.J. McCarthy (concussion) and DE Jalen Redmond (hip) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 5, but is not on the injury report for Week 14.
Fantasy Spin: Jones should receive most of the work at running back this week despite the injury and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues this week.
From TheHuddle
Running back Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder) of the Minnesota Vikings does not have an injury designation when the Vikings play host to the Washington Commanders in Week 14, but he should be considered a risky flex option for fantasy lineups. The veteran has drawn more playing time than backfield mate Jordan Mason, but departed last week's loss at Seattle and did not return after re-aggravating his previous AC joint ailment that also knocked him out of Week 9's game at Detroit. The Vikings surely will want to lean on the running game against a Commanders defense that ranks 29th against half-PPR running backs to help their floundering passing offense, which could present opportunities for both backs. While the matchup is excellent, managers will have to consider that the shoulder is a lingering issue Jones will have to deal with, and the Vikings haven't exactly inspired much confidence in recent weeks.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder) has been cleared from the injury report and will suit up on Sunday against the Washington Commanders, according to the team's official website. Jones was limited on Wednesday and Thursday after exiting early during the game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13 due to a shoulder injury, but he is good to go in Week 14. The 31-year-old running back struggled to find running lanes against Seattle's stout defense, handling six carries for just three yards, but he was productive as a receiver with four receptions (four targets) for 22 yards before leaving. Jones has continued to play ahead of Jordan Mason since returning in Week 8, and he'll get a favorable matchup in Week 14 against a Commanders defense that has allowed the fourth-most PPR points per game to opposing running backs. Another plus for Jones is that quarterback J.J. McCarthy is back this week following a one-game absence due to a concussion.

Minnesota Vikings OT Christian Darrisaw (knee) and DE Levi Drake Rodriguez (neck) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 4. LB Jonathan Greenard (shoulder), OG Donovan Jackson (ankle), S Theo Jackson (neck), RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) and S Josh Metellus (shoulder) were limited during practice. T Jonathan Allen (non-injury), OG Blake Brandel (concussion), RB Ty Chandler (knee), DT Javon Hargrave (non-injury), C Ryan Kelly (hip), QB J.J. McCarthy (concussion), DE Jalen Redmond (hip) and S Harrison Smith (non-injury) fully participated in practice.

Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 4.
Fantasy Spin: Jones has been limited for the first two practices of the week but seems to have a good chance to be available for the Week 14 game. He should see a majority of the carries in the running game if he plays and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder) logged his second straight limited practice on Thursday. The 31-year-old suffered a shoulder injury during Minnesota's Week 13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks that forced him to exit the game early. However, it appears Jones Sr. may be able to avoid missed time and suit up for his team's Week 14 contest against the Washington Commanders. If Jones Sr. were to suffer a setback or see his usage limited, fellow Vikings back Jordan Mason could see an increase in playing time. However, both backs have struggled to be productive in recent weeks due to the overall struggles of the Minnesota offense. Jones Sr. profiles as a low-end flex option for fantasy managers in Week 14 against Washington if he's healthy enough to play.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder) was limited in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Although Jones injured his shoulder in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks and never returned, his injury isn't considered serious, and he's day-to-day going into a Week 14 tilt this weekend versus the visiting Washington Commanders. Still, the 31-year-old veteran's status should be closely monitored over the next couple of days, as Jordan Mason could take on a bigger role this weekend against Washington if Jones ends up being limited at all in Sunday's game. The lack of overall efficiency from Minnesota's offense is draining the fantasy value of all of their skill players, including Jones'. The good news is that quarterback J.J. McCarthy (concussion) is on track to return in Week 14. If Jones plays this weekend, he'll be more of an RB3/flex option with a limited ceiling.

Minnesota Vikings OG Donovan Jackson (ankle) and DT Levi Drake Rodriguez (neck) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 3. DT Jonathan Allen (non-injury), OG Blake Brandel (concussion), RB Ty Chandler (knee), LB Jonathan Greenard (shoulder), DT Javon Hargrave (non-injury), S Theo Jackson (neck), RB Aaron Jones (shoulder), C Ryan Kelly (hip), S Josh Metellus (shoulder), DE Jalen Redmond (hip) and S Harrison Smith (non-injury) were limited during practice. OT Christian Darrisaw (knee) and QB J.J. McCarthy (concussion) fully participated in practice.

Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Fantasy Spin: Jones is considered day-to-day because of the injury, so fantasy players can check on his situation later in the week. He will see a majority of the work at running back if he plays and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in leagues.
From TheHuddle
Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) is considered day-to-day because of the shoulder injury he suffered during the Week 13 game, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players can monitor Jones' practice participation this week to see if he will have a chance to play in Week 14. He will likely share playing time with Jordan Mason if he is cleared to play and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
The Minnesota Vikings do not think that running back Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder) suffered a serious shoulder injury in Sunday's blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, and he is likely to be considered day-to-day, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Jones injured his shoulder in the third quarter on Sunday and never returned in the 26-0 loss. Jordan Mason took over the bulk of the backfield duties the rest of the way, with Zavier Scott backing him up. The 30-year-old Jones finished with only six carries for three yards (and a lost fumble) while catching all four of his targets for 22 yards through the air. Jones' injury isn't serious, but fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on his practice status this week as the team heads into a Week 14 clash against the Commanders. Even if Jones can play against Washington, he could cede more work to Mason in Minnesota's backfield if he's not 100%.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder) is currently listed as questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Jones landed awkwardly on his shoulder during a three-yard catch in the third quarter. This is not good news, considering Jones was on the injury report with a shoulder issue. Given the box score, Jones is unlikely to return with this game being a blowout. Jordan Mason would see increased chances if Jones is unable to play. If he doesn't return, Jones will finish with six rushing attempts for three yards, while hauling in four passes for 22 additional yards through the air.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder) left the Week 13 game against the Seattle Seahawks in the second half due to a shoulder injury. His return is questionable. Jones had just six runs for only three yards, while totaling four receptions for 22 yards on four targets before departing.
Fantasy Spin: It's uncertain if Jones will be able to return, but he was visibly upset on the sidelines, throwing his gloves in disgust after emerging from the blue medical tent. If Jones is sidelined, Jordan Mason would likely carry the mail the rest of the way.
From TheHuddle
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. has been solid when available, but a bad draw in Week 13 against Seattle makes him a risky start in fantasy lineups. Jones has finished between No. 12 and No. 27 among PPR running backs in four straight games, even in the midst of the team's offensive struggles, but this week may bring a new level of unpredictability. Due to injuries, Minnesota will play undrafted rookie quarterback Max Brosmer, who has never started an NFL game. They will also be without left guard Donovan Jackson (ankle), while standout left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee, foot) is questionable. All of this comes against a Seattle defense that ranks seventh against PPR running backs. Jones gets enough receiving work to be in RB3/flex consideration, but managers can't be faulted for avoiding the Vikings' offense this week.
