Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) had a single 19-yard reception on two targets in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings in his first action since Week 2 due to a groin and knee injury.

Fantasy Spin: Brown did very little, and he was working behind both Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel. If you were hoping Brown would return and have fantasy relevance, you were likely disappointed. He should only be trusted for fantasy purposes in deeper leagues at this point.

Dec 6 3:23pm CT

Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Dec. 6.

Fantasy Spin: Brown should be active for the Week 14 game, but his role in the passing game is uncertain at this point. Fantasy players may want to see him play in a game before considering him for their lineups.

From TheHuddle

Dec 5 5:50pm CT

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) is officially listed as questionable ahead of the Week 14 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Brown is working his way back from groin and knee injuries that have sidelined him since Week 2. He was able to practice without limitations on Wednesday and Thursday this week, though. Brown didn't practice on Friday, but that was likely for rest purposes. He'll still need to be officially activated from Injured Reserve ahead of Sunday's contest. Brown is unlikely to be a viable fantasy asset with Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel Sr. both healthy right now.

Dec 5 3:23pm CT

WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) did not practice and is listed as questionable. LB Bobby Wagner (knee) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. QB Jayden Daniels (elbow), DT Javon Kinlaw (back), LB Frankie Luvu (shoulder) and LS Tyler Ott (back) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Dec 5 3:13pm CT

Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 5, and is listed as questionable for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: There is a chance that Brown is available for the Week 14 game, so fantasy players will need to see if he will be activated from the Reserve/Injured list leading up to the game. He has missed a good amount of time because of the injuries and can probably be avoided this week even if he plays.

Nov 28 12:50pm CT

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) has been ruled out for the Week 13 game against the visiting Denver Broncos on Sunday night in Week 13, according to head coach Dan Quinn. The Commanders opened Brown's 21-day practice window this week, but he will stay on Injured Reserve for another week. The 29-year-old's next chance to return will be for a Week 14 tilt against the Minnesota Vikings. The good news for the Commanders is that they will be getting Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) back for the first time since he aggravated his quad injury in Week 8. When Brown does return, he'll be battling for targets behind McLaurin and Deebo Samuel Sr. and won't be a must-roster player in 12-team fantasy football leagues. Brown has played in just two games in 2025 due to his injuries and has three receptions on seven targets for 36 scoreless yards.

Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Fantasy Spin: Brown was cleared to return to practice this week but will likely need at least a week of practice before he is activated from the Reserve/Injured list. Fantasy players can monitor the situation but should not expect him in the lineup for Week 13.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 2:40pm CT

The Washington Commanders announced on Monday that they opened the 21-day practice window for wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee). Brown hasn't played since Week 2, but he's now eligible to officially be activated from Injured Reserve. Whether the 29-year-old is cleared to play on Sunday Night Football against the Denver Broncos in Week 13 will depend on how much he's able to do in practice this week. There is an opportunity in Washington's receiving corps with Luke McCaffrey (collarbone) on IR and with Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) not having played since Week 8. However, it could still take Brown another several weeks to work himself back into game shape after his long layoff. Before his injuries, the former seventh-round pick had caught just three passes for 36 yards and no touchdowns in two games. Fantasy managers in 12-team leagues can continue to ignore Brown for the time being.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 1:33pm CT

Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) had his 21-day practice window opened Monday, Nov. 24.

Fantasy Spin: Brown has not played since early September, so he will likely need several weeks of practice before he is ready to play. He could come back for the last few games of the season but is unlikely to be a starting fantasy option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 15 12:53pm CT

Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin, knee) was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, Oct. 15. He will miss a minimum of four weeks.

Fantasy Spin: In the absence of Brown, Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane could see some of his targets. Neither will get enough targets to be worth plugging into your fantasy lineup, however.

From TheHuddle

Oct 15 11:50am CT

The Washington Commanders announced on Wednesday that they placed wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) on Injured Reserve. After already missing the team's last four games with groin and knee injuries, Brown will now be forced to miss at least four more games and will not be eligible to return until the Week 11 game on Sunday, Nov. 11, against the Miami Dolphins. Washington has also been without top wideout Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) for the last several games, leading to Deebo Samuel Sr. getting more work in the offense. With Brown now out for at least another four contests, it means that Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane should have a clear path to more playing time for the foreseeable future, at least until McLaurin is able to return. Brown, 29, caught three of seven targets for 36 yards and no touchdowns in the first two games of 2025 before getting hurt.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 5:53pm CT

The Washington Commanders have declared LB Ale Kaho, WR Terry McLaurin, DL Eddie Goldman, OT Brandon Coleman, WR Noah Brown, QB Josh Johnson and LB Kain Medrano inactive for Week 6.
