Kansas City Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins is averaging just under five receptions per game since joining the Chiefs and has posted at least 50 yards in each of the last two games. He will see a good amount of targets this week and should be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 5:13pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins caught four passes for 56 yards against the Denver Broncos in Week 10. He was targeted five times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins has played well since joining the Chiefs and has caught 14 of his 17 passes in those games. He should see a handful of targets again next week and should be at least a flex option in all leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 4:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had four catches for 56 yards in the 16-14 win against the Denver Broncos. Hopkins was third on the team with five targets in this contest. The Chiefs narrowly escaped with the victory on a game-sealing blocked field goal by Kansas City. Hopkins did not produce as he did against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, but he was still the undisputed WR1 for the Kansas City passing attack. Hopkins will look to produce in Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills, who rank sixth in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season. It will be a tough matchup for the veteran receiver, but he's talented enough to produce with Patrick Mahomes throwing him the ball. Fantasy managers should view Hopkins as a low-end WR2 heading into a tough matchup against the Bills.

From RotoBaller

Nov 9 4:10am ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will match up against the Denver Broncos in Week 10. Hopkins had a strong performance in his first full game as a Kansas City Chief last week. The veteran receiver hauled in eight catches for 86 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 9 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are among the most favorable matchups for wide receivers, but Hopkins will not be so fortunate this week. The Broncos rank ninth in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season, so Hopkins will likely have less success in this matchup. Hopkins will often face All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain II in this contest, limiting his upside. That said, Hopkins is ranked WR18 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR ranking this week. Fantasy managers should start Hopkins as a mid-tier WR2 this week despite the matchup.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 8:15pm ET

Chiefs' WR DeAndre Hopkins scored 28.60 fantasy points in Monday's Week 9 win against the Buccaneers. Hopkins caught eight passes for 86 yards with two touchdowns. It's the 1st time this season Hopkins scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Nov 5 1:13pm ET

Dynasty | Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had eight catches for 86 yards and two touchdowns in a win against Tampa Bay. Dynasty Analysis: Kansas City had promised to get Hopkins more involved this week and they were certainly true to their word. This was the best we've seen Nuk in years and while this very well could go down as his best game of the season, he suddenly looks like a viable player again. Dynasty managers could likely get a late second round pick for him if they're not in contention, or offer the same capital to acquire him if he could help for the stretch run.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Nov 5 4:50am ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins caught eight of nine targets for 86 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-24 overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hopkins was significantly more involved in his second game with the team, as he was second in targets amongst Chiefs pass catchers. Only Hopkins and Travis Kelce received more than five targets for Kansas City in this contest. The veteran receiver proved a trustworthy target for Patrick Mahomes as the two connected for a 35-yard completion on a crucial third down. Hopkins will look to continue his success against the Denver Broncos next week. The Broncos rank fourth in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season, so it will be a difficult matchup for Hopkins. The Chiefs receiver will likely face Patrick Surtain II often in next week's matchup, which could limit his fantasy success. That said, Hopkins looks like a top target for Mahomes in the passing game, which bodes well for him moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 1:23am ET

Kansas City Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins ended up with eight receptions for 86 yards and two touchdowns on nine targets in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins had a slow start last week in Las Vegas in his team debut, going for two receptions and just 29 yards. He looked a lot more comfortable with Patrick Mahomes on Monday, and he had eight receptions for the first time since Oct. 8, 2023 when was with the Tennessee Titans. He appears to be a solid low-end WR2 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 10 against the Denver Broncos.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 10:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9. The Chiefs acquired the star receiver last week via trade with the Tennessee Titans. His limited time with the team led to limited snaps in last week's contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. Hopkins only played 32% of the snaps against the Raiders, so he will be more involved in this upcoming matchup. The Buccaneers rank 28th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season, so Hopkins should have no trouble producing against them. His role in the passing attack remains to be seen, but the Chiefs traded for him, so he will likely be a key piece moving forward. Given the uncertainty of his target share and limited rapport with Patrick Mahomes, Hopkins is ranked as WR35 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings this week. Hopkins should step into the Chiefs WR1 role and find his way into fantasy lineups as a WR3/flex play this week.

Nov 2 2:10pm ET

The Athletic's Dianna Russini writes that the Kansas City Chiefs may not be done adding wide receivers via trade with Skyy Moore (core) on Injured Reserve. General manager Brett Veach already acquired receiver DeAndre Hopkins and linebacker Joshua Uche well before the NFL trade deadline this coming Tuesday, and if a wideout falls into their laps, sources are saying the Chiefs won't hesitate to act. If Kansas City opts to add another defensive player, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo would love a fast, young cornerback to help improve their secondary. In the Week 8 win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders, tight end Travis Kelce led the team in receiving, catching 10 of 12 targets for 90 yards and a touchdown, with rookie receiver Xavier Worthy also finding the end zone. Hopkins had just two catches for 29 yards in his team debut.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 4:40am ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins caught two passes for 29 yards in the 27-20 win against the Las Vegas Raiders. Hopkins joined the Chiefs this week after being traded from the Tennessee Titans. Hopkins was being eased into the offense, considering his lack of knowledge of the Kansas City playbook, but he will be more involved moving forward. The Chiefs traded for the veteran receiver, and Andy Reid is among the best at scheming plays for his playmakers, so fantasy success should be on the horizon. The height of Hopkins' ceiling in this offense is still unknown, but he could be successful as soon as Week 9. The Chiefs face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who rank 28th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season. Hopkins could be in for a big game with such a favorable matchup. Hopkins should be viewed as a high-upside flex play until we see a more defined role for him in the Kansas City offense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 4:23am ET

Kansas City Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins caught two of his three targets for 29 yards in Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins' numbers are not surprising for a player who just joined the team a few days before the game, but they are slightly surprising considering how much Kansas City needed someone like him in its offense. Expect Hopkins' role to grow considerably in the next week or two. It should come as no surprise if it happens as soon as Week 9 versus a Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary that has been among the friendliest in defending receivers this season.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 2:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will make his team debut against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. Head coach Andy Reid officially confirmed that the veteran wideout will play this weekend. The Chiefs offense has been crushed by injuries, so they made a move and acquired Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans. Hopkins has been quiet with only 15 receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown this season, but should see an immediate boost playing with Patrick Mahomes. It's worth noting that it's a new system and playbook for Hopkins, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to be fantastic right away. He should be a fine flex option against a struggling Raiders defense.

Oct 23 1:43pm ET

Updating a previous report, the conditional 2025 fifth-round pick the Tennessee Titans received in the trade with the Kansas City Chiefs for DeAndre Hopkins can become a fourth-rounder if the Chiefs make the Super Bowl and Hopkins plays 60% of snaps, per source. The Titans are also eating $2.5 million of Hopkins' salary.

From TheHuddle

Oct 23 1:31pm ET

Dynasty | The Titans have traded wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs. Dynasty Analysis: This move had been rumored for a couple of days and now it's official. Hopkins will slot in as Kansas City's top receiver, but it's fair to wonder just what he may have left in the tank at this point. He's still recovering from an early season injury and really just hasn't looked like himself in some time. The opportunity is there for him again, but the Chiefs offense is not, well, the Chiefs offense any longer. Patrick Mahomes has been charged with simply managing football games as the Chiefs have started riding their defense in recent seasons. Hopkins' production should improve (it can't get worse), but expecting him to produce numbers like he used to is likely to leave dynasty managers disappointed. If you can somehow fetch a second round rookie pick for him, that seems like a move to make.

Oct 23 12:30pm ET

The Kansas City Chiefs' plan is to get newly acquired wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (leg) ready to play this Sunday against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8, according to sources. It's still early, though, and the Chiefs will know more about Hopkins' availability later this week. The Chiefs gave up a conditional fourth-round pick to the Tennessee Titans for Hopkins after JuJu Smith-Schuster aggravated his hamstring injury in the Week 7 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Smith-Schuster won't play in Week 8. The Chiefs have also lost both Rashee Rice (knee) and Marquise Brown (shoulder) for the year, so it felt inevitable that they'd trade for receiver help as they look to become the first team to three-peat in the NFL. The 32-year-old Hopkins was dealing with lower-leg soreness at the end of the Week 7 contest, but it's considered minor. Nuk's fantasy value receives a massive boost with this trade.

From RotoBaller

Oct 23 9:43am ET

Kansas City Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins is expected to play with his new team against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. How much he plays will be determined later in the week through practice time.

Fantasy Spin: One source said "he's perfect for Pat." So while it's likely to take some time to gel, and keeping in mind Nuk is 32 and has shown a state of decline, he is still worth having as a flex candidate in the near term and possible WR3 later.

From TheHuddle

Oct 23 9:13am ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins was shipped to the Kansas City Chiefs Wednesday, Oct. 23, for a conditional fourth-round pick.

From TheHuddle

Oct 23 8:03am ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins will reportedly be traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to sources.

Fantasy Spin: There is no word yet what the compensation might be, but the Chiefs are on the verge of landing the X receiver they so desperately need. Hopkins has become a forgotten man in Tennessee, drawing only 21 targets in six games. In Kansas City, he would give Patrick Mahomes a quality possession receiver capable of winning in contested-catch situations. Hopkins would almost certainly be no worse than a WR2 for fantasy purposes if this trade happens.

From TheHuddle

Oct 23 7:20am ET

The Tennessee Titans are trading star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (leg) to the Kansas City Chiefs for a conditional fourth-round pick. The Chiefs have been decimated with injuries at the wide receiver position, losing Rashee Rice (knee) and Marquise Brown (shoulder) out for the season. JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury. Hopkins immediately fills the void as Kansas City's No. 1 wide receiver and should immediately become one of quarterback Patrick Mahomes' top targets. Hopkins was having a down season, catching 15 passes for 173 yards and a touchdown over six games with the Titans. The 32-year-old is dealing with lower leg soreness, but the injury isn't severe enough to keep him sidelined. Hopkins is only rostered in 50% of Yahoo Fantasy leagues and should be added in all leagues as the veteran wideout should see a boost in production as Kansas City's new No. 1 wide receiver.
