Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) will suit up for the Week 1 matchup against the Chicago Bears. The veteran wideout returned to practice this week after sitting out three weeks due to a knee issue. Hopkins told reporters that he's dealing with a torn MCL. Despite that, Hopkins plans to play through the issue, but he's expected to be limited. It sounds like Hopkins will play on Sunday, but fantasy managers still shouldn't have much faith in him. At the end of the day, Hopkins is probably a shaky WR4 with it being a pain tolerance type of injury. Fantasy managers who are rostering Hopkins should probably look for a better streaming choice ahead of Week 1.

Sep 7 5:43pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is expected to play in Week 1 but may not play a full complement of snaps, per source on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins admitted earlier this week that he's trying to play through an MCL tear and his ability to stay on the field will depend upon pain tolerance. That is not good news for fantasy owners with stock in the veteran wideout. He's best left on the bench for now. Calvin Ridley's stock gets a bump thanks to Hopkins' status, but he's a shaky flex option in his first game with the Titans.

Sep 6 2:53pm ET

Tennessee Titans S Jamal Adams (hip) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 1 against the Chicago Bears. LB Otis Reese (concussion) was limited in practice all week but has also been ruled out. WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) and CB Chidobe Awuzie (calf) were limited in practice on Friday, Sept. 6, and are listed as questionable.

From TheHuddle

Sep 6 1:43pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 1 versus the Chicago Bears, according to head coach Brian Callahan on Friday, Sept. 6.

Fantasy Spin: If Hopkins cannot play against Chicago, Calvin Ridley should be a near-lock for close to 10 targets. Beyond that, Tyler Boyd and Treylon Burks would be viable starting options in deeper leagues for an offense that should be expected to pass much more under Callahan. Even Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears may see an extra target or two if Hopkins is sidelined.

Sep 6 1:40pm ET

Tennessee Titans veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is listed as questionable for the Week 1 regular-season opener on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, according to head coach Brian Callahan. Hopkins was limited in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday and will now be a game-time decision on Sunday morning. The good news for fantasy managers that are considering using the 32-year-old in their starting lineups as a WR4/flex this weekend is that offensive coordinator Nick Holz said on Thursday that the Titans expect Hopkins to have a big role on offense if he does suit up. Still, Nuk's questionable status makes him more of a shaky WR4/flex option entering Week 1 action. If he doesn't end up getting the green light on Sunday, it will mean more targets for Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, Treylon Burks and tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo.

From RotoBaller

Sep 5 7:00pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday to kick off preparations for the Week 1 regular-season opener in Chicago this Sunday against the Bears. Hopkins practiced with a sleeve on his left leg on Thursday and could be questionable to play this weekend. However, offensive coordinator Nick Holz did say that if the 32-year-old veteran is active against the Bears, he's expected to have a big role across from new wideout Calvin Ridley. We'll have a better idea of Hopkins' status when the Titans release their final injury report for Week 1 on Friday. The former first-rounder is no longer a Pro Bowl wideout, but he did put up his seventh 1,000-yard season in 2023 with Ryan Tannehill and Will Levis throwing him passes. Ridley's presence will mean fewer targets, but Nuk still has the ability to be a serviceable WR4/flex for fantasy managers.

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) and LB Otis Reese (concussion) were limited at practice once again on Thursday, Sept. 5. Also, S Jamal Adams (hip) didn't practice.

From TheHuddle

Sep 5 5:13pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) was limited at practice yet again on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins told reporters after practice that his knee "felt great," so that's encouraging. We'll see if Hopkins can log a full session on Friday and get himself removed from the injury report. Even if he does suit up, Hopkins is a flex option in a crowded Titans wide receivers room.

From TheHuddle

Sep 4 5:13pm ET

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins appears to be on track to play in Week 1 and should be a reliable target for Will Levis. He probably can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in fantasy leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Sep 4 3:43pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins appears to have a good chance to play in the season opener, but fantasy players will know more later in the week. The Titans added Calvin Ridley this offseason, but Hopkins should still have a solid role in the passing game. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver or flex option in most leagues if active.

From TheHuddle

Sep 4 1:20pm ET

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) should be at the team's first official practice on Wednesday, but it remains to be seen how much he'll do. It sounds like Hopkins will most likely be listed as limited on the first injury report of 2024 as the team prepares for their Week 1 matchup in Chicago against the Bears this Sunday. The 32-year-old veteran suffered a strained knee early in training camp but was always expected to be ready for the start of the 2024 season this week. Still, there's a chance he could be limited if he's active this weekend, which would mean more targets for Calvin Ridley as he makes his Titans debut. Hopkins should be active on Sunday to kick off the year, but he figures to be a little more risky for fantasy managers as more of a WR4/flex play in lineups.

From RotoBaller

Sep 1 7:33pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is 'preparing to play' in Week 1 but didn't say for sure that he would, he told reporters on Sunday, Sept. 1. 'Of course, I'm preparing to play,' said Hopkins. 'But, you know, there's measures (in place). We've got a long season, so I'm sure (the Titans) will make the right call.'

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins' comment is certainly a good sign, but the lack of a definitive answer means we'll have to keep an eye on the injury reports ahead of Week 1. Hopkins is a borderline WR2 entering the 2024 season.

From TheHuddle

Aug 29 8:53pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is making good progress in his recovery and has a chance to play in Week 1 depending on how he feels during practice leading up to the game, according to head coach Brian Callahan.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to monitor Hopkins' practice participation next week to have a better idea of his status for Week 1. He is a weekly starting option in all leagues when healthy, but fantasy players should have a backup plan ready in case he sits out.

From TheHuddle

Aug 18 6:03pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is expected to be back soon and should be ready for Week 1, head coach Brian Callahan said on Sunday, Aug. 18.

From TheHuddle

Aug 18 2:10pm ET

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) should be back soon and is expected to be ready for the Week 1 regular-season opener. Hopkins suffered a strained knee early in training camp at the start of August and was expected to be out for four to six weeks. It appears that the 32-year-old veteran pass-catcher is making good progress, though, and should be ready to go in early September. However, Hopkins' fantasy stock is down because of all the missed time in camp and due to the offseason addition of Calvin Ridley, who will no doubt take valuable targets away. The Titans offense should be much more pass-happy under Callahan, but Hopkins is going to need to be far more efficient deep down the field to pay off for fantasy managers. He's become more of a high-end WR4/flex target in fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Aug 3 2:00pm ET

Tennessee Titans veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) will be sidelined for "several weeks" due to a knee injury, as confirmed by coach Brian Callahan on Saturday morning. Callahan mentioned that there's no precise timetable for Hopkins's return and that the injury did not require surgery. If the recovery progresses on the shorter end, Hopkins could return just before the season opener. Conversely, if the timeline extends, he might return in time for the Week 2 game against the New York Jets on September 15th or later. Last season, Hopkins led Titans receivers with 75 catches, 1,057 yards, and seven touchdowns and was particularly effective with Will Levis as his quarterback. With the additions of Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd and 2022 first-round pick Treylon Burks, the Titans have ample receiving depth to manage while Hopkins is out. Ridley is expected to see a significant increase in targets and should see a boost in his fantasy value. Boyd and Burks will also see more opportunities but will likely remain bench options unless Hopkins's injury proves more serious. The injury also diminishes Will Levis's sleeper potential, making him relevant mainly in two-quarterback or flex leagues.

Aug 3 11:53am ET

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) will not need to undergo surgery on his injured knee, according to head coach Brian Callahan.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins sustained the injury during practice earlier this week, with the initial diagnosis stating that he would likely miss four to six weeks, putting his availability for the season opener in jeopardy. When healthy, Hopkins should be viewed as a starting option in all fantasy leagues but owners should have a backup plan in place for the first week or two.

Dynasty | Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. Dynasty Analysis: Hopkins apparently has a knee strain that's going to keep him out a month or more. It doesn't look like a long-term concern but his status for week one is clearly in question. Regardless, we won't be seeing him this preseason. Hopkins' dynasty value has cratered in recent years but he's in line to be a solid value for a contender should this injury prove to be minor, as expected.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Aug 1 6:30pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) is in danger of missing the beginning of the regular season. The veteran wideout suffered a knee strain during Tuesday's practice. Hopkins was reportedly wearing a wrap on his knee during Thursday's practice session. The organization believes that Hopkins could miss four to six weeks of action because of this injury. Hopkins could potentially be unavailable for the Week 1 matchup against the Chicago Bears. When healthy, Hopkins should be considered a high-end WR2 for fantasy purposes. The knee injury is a concern, but it shouldn't drop him too far on draft boards.

From RotoBaller
