NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said on Tuesday that the league's review of the most recent sexual-assault allegations against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is ongoing, despite the fact that Watson's camp already settled the latest lawsuit with the plaintiff. If the NFL finds that the newest complaint rises to a new violation of their personal-conduct policy, it can levy further sanctions against Watson, including another suspension, a fine or more counseling. Not only has Watson looked terrible in 2024 through the first six weeks of the season, but he just lost his top receiver -- Amari Cooper was traded to the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday -- and the possibility of another suspension is on the table. Through the first six weeks, Watson checks in as the QB24 in overall fantasy points and should only be rostered in superflex leagues at this point.

Oct 14 2:00pm ET

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that the team will continue with quarterback Deshaun Watson as their starter after another loss in Week 6 to the Philadelphia Eagles. "I think Deshaun (Watson) gives us the best chance to win, continues to give us the best chance to win," Stefanski said. Watson has been really bad so far in 2024, although he was able to avoid any turnovers on Sunday against Philly. The 29-year-old went 16-for-23 for 168 yards without a touchdown and has yet to even throw for 200 yards in six games this season. It appears that the surgery on his right shoulder has sapped him of much of his arm strength, but Watson has also made plenty of head-scratching decisions to lead the Browns to a 1-5 record after six weeks. The impending return of running back Nick Chubb (knee) may not be enough to salvage Watson's starting job the rest of the season.

Oct 14 2:03am ET

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson will remain the starting quarterback following the team's Week 6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, per head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Fantasy Spin: Watson is far from the only problem in Cleveland right now, but he hasn't endeared himself to fans or fantasy owners, either. He shouldn't get anywhere near your lineup at this point.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 4:13pm ET

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson went 16-for-23 for 168 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. He also rushed for 17 yards on four carries during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Watson has been held to under 200 passing yards in every game this season and failed to record a passing touchdown for the second time this season. He should be avoided in fantasy leagues until he is more productive on the field.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 4:10pm ET

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson completed 16 of his 23 passes for 168 yards and no touchdowns while adding four carries for 17 yards in a 20-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. Watson struggled against a weak pass defense for a second consecutive week as he was unable to lead his team on any touchdown-scoring drives in the close road loss. The veteran quarterback has now failed to throw for more than 196 yards in any of his six games this season as the Browns have struggled mightily on offense. Steadily sinking into low-end QB2 territory in fantasy, Watson will take five touchdowns and three interceptions into a Week 7 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Oct 11 3:40pm ET

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has struggled for much of the 2024 season, managing to throw for multiple touchdowns in just one of five games thus far. He will look to turn things around in Week 6's road matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have struggled against opposing quarterbacks this season, allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to the position through four games. The plus matchup gives some optimism for Watson to have a good game, although he failed to capitalize on a similarly good matchup against the Washington Commanders last week, throwing for just 125 yards and one touchdown. The Cleveland offense looks broken with the offensive line banged up, Watson playing poorly, and the receivers struggling with drops, making it very tough to trust the Browns' quarterback in fantasy leagues this week. Treat Watson as a low-end QB2 for Week 6.

From RotoBaller

Oct 9 12:23pm ET

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson being benched isn't under consideration right now, head coach Kevin Stefanski said on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Fantasy Spin: Watson has been the definition of a dumpster fire and the Browns insist on continuing to try and justify his contract when everyone can clearly see it's a disaster. That's apparently more important to Cleveland than actually having a chance to win. Watson remains an afterthought for fantasy purposes and his existence destroys any value Browns pass-catchers could've had.

Dynasty | Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has settled his latest civil suit out of court. Dynasty Analysis: No details have emerged and they likely won't at this point. All we know is the latest legal issue with Watson has now been put to rest. Unfortunately, that won't put many minds at ease as Watson has been simply terrible on the field since arriving in Cleveland. The Browns were willing to take the obvious PR hit with Watson since he was considered an elite-level player. However, it's fair to wonder how long they're going to stick with him now that he clearly isn't. Watson's dynasty value is in the tank, despite him likely not facing league discipline over his latest transgression (or accusation).

Oct 7 11:00pm ET

A new lawsuit accusing Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault and battery has been resolved, according to the plaintiff's lawyer, Tony Buzbee. Watson denied the allegations in a statement issued by his attorney, Rusty Hardin. The NFL has been reviewing the complaint under their personal-conduct policy but did not place Watson on the commissioner's exempt list because there haven't been formal charges filed. The 29-year-old Watson served an 11-game suspension in 2022 after more than a dozen women accused him of sexual assault and inappropriate conduct during massage sessions. It's unclear if he's in danger of being suspended by the NFL again. Watson has not played well in five games in 2024 and is currently the QB20 in fantasy points, but the Browns will continue to stick with him heading into a Week 7 contest versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

Oct 6 8:10pm ET

According to Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, quarterback Deshaun Watson will remain the team's starter. The signal-caller has struggled this season, most recently throwing for 125 yards and one touchdown off 15-for-28 passing in the Week 5 loss to the Commanders. Jameis Winston took over near the end of the contest, leading many to believe he will take over under center moving ahead. However, that's not the case. With that in mind, the Browns offensive line has allowed 26 sacks this season, more than any team in the league. But no matter what the cause of Watson's struggles is, he isn't an ideal fantasy option for Week 6 against the Eagles.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 5:23pm ET

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson completed 15-of-28 passes for 125 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders, while running three times for 14 yards with a lost fumble.

Fantasy Spin: Watson's struggles aren't all his fault, as he just has no time with a super banged up offensive line. But, he was brought in to be a QB1, and he has fallen well short of expectations, regardless of injuries to other positions. For fantasy purposes, he is best used as a low-end QB2 only in leagues using two starting quarterbacks. The Browns face another NFC East opponent on the road in Week 6 in Philadelphia.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 4:50pm ET

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson struggled in a 34-13 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 5. Watson completed 15 of his 28 passes for 125 yards and one touchdown while adding three carries for 14 yards and losing a fumble in the losing effort. As has been the issue for much of the season, Watson took plenty of hits as the Commanders sacked him seven times over the course of the game while at the same time failing to pass for 200 yards, a milestone he has yet to reach this season. Watson was an interesting sleeper heading into Week 5 thanks to a leaky Washington secondary but he instead failed to take advantage of the plus matchup, turning in yet another mediocre fantasy performance. The veteran quarterback will hope to turn things around ahead of a Week 6 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 12:30pm ET

Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Jack Conklin (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Week 5 contest on Sunday against the Washington Commanders, while left tackle Jedrick Wills (knee) is active. Conklin made some progress at practice this week, but he remains out of action and will be hoping to make his 2024 debut in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The good news is the Browns' offensive line will get their left tackle back after he hurt his knee in Week 3 and was forced to sit out of the Week 4 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The Browns' offense has been well below average through the first four weeks of the season, but they have an opportunity to be successful this weekend against a porous Commanders secondary. The return of Wills should be seen as good news for quarterback Deshaun Watson as they look to get back into the win column.

From RotoBaller

Oct 4 7:00pm ET

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has struggled for a good portion of the 2024 season, throwing for just 727 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions through four games. He has a good chance to bounce back, however, in Week 5's road matchup against the Washington Commanders. Washington's defense has struggled against quarterbacks this season, allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Watson's play has been up-and-down this year but he has a shot at posting his best fantasy outing of the season in Week 5 thanks to his opponent. Fantasy gamers can treat him as a high-end QB2 on Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Sep 29 9:13pm ET

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson completed 24-of-32 passes for just 176 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders, while adding eight runs for 32 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Watson was running for his life, as his offense line is banged up, and starting center Ethan Pocic left this game with an ankle injury to make matters worse. For fantasy purposes, Watson is nothing more than a low-end QB2 in leagues of 12 or more teams at this point. The Browns travel to meet the Washington Commanders in Week 5.

From TheHuddle

Sep 29 9:00pm ET

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson completed 24 of his 32 passes for 176 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while rushing for 32 yards on eight carries in a 20-16 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4. It could have been a much bigger game for Watson but the Cleveland offense was plagued by multiple mistakes, including a holding penalty on center Nick Harris that wiped away an 82-yard touchdown pass to Amari Cooper in the fourth quarter. The interception was also hard to pin on Watson as he hit Amari Cooper in the chest but the receiver allowed the ball to go through his hands and right to safety Tre'von Moehrig for the pick. Watson has now thrown four touchdowns and three interceptions through four games while leading the Browns to a 1-3 record. He will look for a bigger outing in Week 5 against a red-hot Washington Commanders team.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 6:40pm ET

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson struggled in a home loss to the New York Giants in Week 3, throwing two touchdown passes but getting sacked eight times on 37 pass attempts. He will look to get back on track in a road game against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4. The Raiders have been relatively generous to opposing quarterbacks so far this season, allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to the position. That being said, Watson hasn't done much to inspire confidence in him in fantasy this season, throwing just three touchdowns and two interceptions through three games. Still looking for his first 200-yard passing game this season, Watson should be on benches in fantasy as a low-end QB2 heading into Week 4's matchup.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 5:00pm ET

Cleveland Browns offensive linemen Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee) and Jack Conklin (hamstring) have both been ruled for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders according to Mary Kay Cabot. This will be a tough blow for the Cleveland offense, as they will be without two of their starting lineman. Even though the Raiders will be without star pass rusher Maxx Crosby (ankle), they will have a much easier time getting to Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. Fantasy managers looking to stream a potential defense should consider Las Vegas, as they should be in a position to record a high number of sacks, as Watson has already been sacked 16 times this season.

From RotoBaller

Sep 22 9:30pm ET

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson struggled in a 21-15 loss to the New York Giants in Week 3. Watson completed 21 of his 37 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns while adding four carries for 26 yards in the loss. The Browns got off to a fast start, recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff with Watson throwing a 24-yard touchdown to Amari Cooper on the ensuing play. Things went downhill from there with Watson taking eight sacks in the loss. Watson has now thrown three touchdowns to two interceptions through three games. He will look to regroup ahead of a road matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Sep 22 5:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson completed 21-of-37 passes for 196 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 3 against the New York Giants. He also ran four times for 26 yards with two fumbles lost.

Fantasy Spin: Watson is paid like a QB1, but he has consistently turned in lines of a low-end QB2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, and even that might be a bit generous. He and the Browns will look to get back on track in Week 4 on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders.
