New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara came into Week 10 needing 12 yards to overtake Mark Ingram as the franchise's all-time leading rusher and achieved that milestone on his second touch of the game. On the day he took 17 carries 55 yards on the ground and caught five of his six targets for 54 receiving yards. With the Saints' receiving corps depleted by injury, Kamara led the team in receptions and targets. With just under two minutes left in the game, Kamara was left wide open downfield but what would have been the game-sealing touchdown pass bounced off his hands. The Saints held on for a 20-17 win over the Falcons but Kamara's scoreless streak extends to four games. His next chance will come against the Cleveland Browns in Week 11.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara became the franchise's all-time leader in rushing yards during a 20-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10, finishing with 17 carries for 55 yards and catching five passes for 54 yards.
From TheHuddle
Running back Alvin Kamara was the primary beneficiary of the New Orleans Saints offense being depleted by injuries in Week 9. Kamara ceded five carries to Taysom Hill but set new season-highs with 29 attempts for 155 rushing yards. With multiple receivers out, including an early exit by Chris Olave (concussion), Kamara's ability as a receiver took on added importance and he led the team in receptions and yardage, too. In Week 10, the situation is largely the same with Williams designated as questionable, Olave still ailing, and Cedrick Wilson Jr. (shoulder) also declared out. Thus, Kamara is in line for another big workload as both a runner and receiver against the Falcons. When the NFC South rivals squared off in Week 4, Kamara came away with 26 touches, 119 total yards, and a touchdown. He is a must-start in Week 10.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints WR Cedrick Wilson (shoulder), CB Kool-Aid McKinstry (hamstring), WR Chris Olave (concussion) and OL Lucas Patrick (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons. C Erik McCoy (groin) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Nov. 8, and is listed as doubtful. RB Jamaal Williams (groin) did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. DB J.T. Gray (ankle), CB Rico Payton (back) and DT John Ridgeway (oblique) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. DB Will Harris (hamstring), OL Shane Lemieux (knee) and LB Nephi Sewell (knee) practiced in full on Friday but are also listed as questionable. QB Derek Carr (illness) and RB Alvin Kamara (hand) practiced in full all week and have been removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (hand) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Fantasy Spin: Kamara likely will see a significant amount of touches this week against the Atlanta Falcons since the team will be without several of their pass catchers because of injury. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (hand) practiced in full for the second straight day on Thursday, Nov. 7.
Fantasy Spin: While the rest of the Saints stink, Kamara remains highly productive. He's an RB1 entering Week 10.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints WR Cedrick Wilson (shoulder), CB Kool-Aid McKinstry (hamstring), WR Chris Olave (concussion) and OG Lucas Patrick (ankle) did not practice on Thursday, Nov. 7. Also, DB J.T. Gray (back), CB Rico Payton (back), RB Jamaal Williams (groin), C Erik McCoy (groin) and DT John Ridgeway (oblique) were limited and DB Will Harris (hamstring), QB Derek Carr (illness), RB Alvin Kamara (hand), OG Shane Lemieux (knee) and LB Nephi Sewell (knee) practiced in full.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (hand) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Fantasy Spin: Kamara will continue to be a focal point in the Saints offense and should see plenty of touches this week. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Saints' RB Alvin Kamara scored 27.50 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 9 loss in Carolina. Kamara ran for 155 yards and caught six passes for 60 yards.
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara had a whopping 29 carries and ran for 155 yards against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Kamara also led the Saints in receiving in their 23-22 loss, catching six of his nine targets for 60 yards. Already the league leader in touches entering Week 9, it was expected that Kamara would see a heavy workload. Jamaal Williams (groin) and Kendre Miller (hamstring) were both inactive and the Saints' already thin receiving corps lost Chris Olave (concussion) midway through the first quarter, increasing the Saints' reliance on Kamara further. Kamara has been held out of the end zone since Week 6 but now has over 1,000 yards from scrimmage on the season. He will face off against the Falcons in Week 10, against whom he gained 119 total yards and scored a touchdown in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 29 times for a game-best 155 yards in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers, and he added team highs with six receptions, 60 yards and nine targets. The total scrimmage yards were the most of his career, however.
Fantasy Spin: It was Kamara first 100-yard game since Week 2, and he just missed a career best in rushing yards by four. The Panthers defense is horrific, but this was a rather amazing performance. He'll look to keep things going in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons. He had 19 rushes for 77 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 in the first meeting in Atlatna, while adding seven receptions for 42 yards on nine targets.
From TheHuddle
Saints' RB Alvin Kamara ran for 155 yards on 29 carries but no touchdowns in Sunday's loss in Carolina.
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (hand/ribs) was limited in practice all week, nursing a fracture in both his hand and a rib. Kamara carries no injury designation going into Week 9's game against the Carolina Panthers, however. In Week 1, Kamara had a total of 20 touches for 110 scrimmage yards and a touchdown and is in line for another big game on Sunday. Jamaal Williams (groin) is doubtful and Kendre Miller (hamstring) is already listed as out, making Kamara the lone healthy running back on the Saints' active roster. Already a key component of New Orleans' offense, Kamara will see an even higher snap share than usual with Taysom Hill seeing increased run as well. Carolina has given up more touchdowns (15) to opposing running backs than any other team. Kamara is as close as you can get to a lock for RB1 status.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (hand, rib) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 1, but is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Fantasy Spin: Kamara posted over 100 total yards in the last game and should be involved in the passing game in addition to the running game this week. He should be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring), WR Bub Means (ankle), RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) and CB Kool-Aid McKinstry (hamstring) did not practice on Friday, Nov. 1, and have been ruled out for Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers. RB Jamaal Williams (groin) was limited in practice all week and is listed as doubtful. CB Rico Payton (back) did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. WR Cedrick Wilson Jr. (hip), OL Nick Saldiveri (shoulder) and DT John Ridgeway (oblique) were limited in practice on Friday and are listed as questionable. LB Nephi Sewell (knee) and OL Shane Lemieux (knee) practiced in full all week but are also listed as questionable. QB Derek Carr (oblique) and RB Alvin Kamara (hand, rib) were limited in practice on Friday but have been removed from the injury report. S Tyrann Mathieu (illness) and TE Juwan Johnson (shoulder) practiced in full on Friday and also no longer appear on the injury report.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (hand, rib) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 31.
Fantasy Spin: Kamara should be available for the Week 9 game and likely will see plenty of touches during the game. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues if he is healthy.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (hand, rib) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Fantasy Spin: Kamara has been on the injury report for the last few weeks but has not missed any games. He should see touches in both the running and passing game in Week 9 and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara rushed for 67 yards on 10 carries and had another 55 yards on six receptions in Sunday's 26-8 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. It was the first time since Week 4 that Kamara had over 100 yards from scrimmage. The efficiency was a welcome change compared to the last three weeks when Kamara was gaining just 2.5 yards per carry. Kamara's first touch of the game was a 23-yard run, his longest of the season until he logged a 24-yarder in the fourth quarter. Kamara was also responsible for the Saints' longest play of the day, taking a screen pass 37 yards and showing great patience in staying behind his blockers along the way. In Week 9, New Orleans will take on the Carolina Panthers. In Week 1's blowout victory of Carolina, Kamara had 83 rushing yards and a touchdown and will again be a focal point for the Saints' offense.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 10 times for 67 yards and caught six of his 11 targets for 55 yards in a 26-8 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8.
Fantasy Spin: It has been a rough stretch for Kamara in terms of efficiency, but he found some room to run against the Chargers. More importantly, he continues to pile up receptions, allowing him to provide decent production despite the Saints' sputtering offense.
From TheHuddle
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (hand, ribs) was limited in practice all week but carries no designation for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kamara revealed earlier this week that he broke his hand in Week 5 against the Chiefs and has been playing through the pain ever since. That may explain his downturn in utilization and effectiveness in the last two weeks. In Weeks 6 and 7, Kamara had just 20 rushing attempts and averaged 2.5 yards per carry, and had 11 receptions for 3.5 yards per catch. Considering that his Week 8 opponent is the Los Angeles Chargers, there is little reason to believe a rebound is at hand. The Chargers are allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs in PPR formats and have given up just two touchdowns to the position all season. Kamara is still locked in as the Saints' feature back and can be started in fantasy accordingly but managers should have expectations set for an RB2 finish.
