Dec 8 11:33pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley ran the ball 20 times for 122 yards and a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14. Barkley was also targeted twice as a receiver but did not record a catch.

Fantasy Spin: For just the second time in 2025, Barkley topped the 100-yard mark, aided heavily by his 52-yard touchdown run out of the Tush Push formation. While the final tally is all that matters to fantasy owners, it does mean his other 19 carries covered a much more modest 70 yards, which equates to 3.7 yards per carry. His closing schedule is appealing with Las Vegas (16th against the run), Buffalo (28th), and two games with Washington (29th) remaining. Even in a disappointing season, Barkley should not leave your lineup.

Dec 8 11:30pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley handled 20 carries for 122 yards and a touchdown while adding zero catches on two targets in Monday night's 22-19 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Barkley scored the only touchdown of the night for the Eagles on a 52-yard run to begin the fourth quarter. The star running back notched his second 100-yard outing and second-longest run of the season on Monday night, with both previous marks coming back in Week 8 against his former team, the New York Giants. The 28-year-old has been disappointing for fantasy managers who spent an early first-round pick on him, but he'll look to build on this performance for the rest of the season with several favorable matchups on deck. Next up will be a home date in Week 15 versus the Las Vegas Raiders.

Dec 5 9:20pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has now gone four straight games without a touchdown, which is his longest scoring drought since 2021. Barkley has also seen a dip in usage over the last couple of weeks, averaging 11.5 carries in his last two outings compared to the 20 he was averaging in Weeks 7-11. Although, this could be chalked up to Philly having to play from behind in their recent back-to-back losses. In Week 14, Barkley faces off against a Chargers defense that allows 106.9 rushing yards per game and has given up 14 touchdowns on the ground through 12 games. It's no daunting matchup, and the reigning Offensive Player of the Year is due for a boom game. As long as the Eagles don't find themselves in too big of a hole in this contest-which they shouldn't-bank on Barkley to find his footing again despite the rough patch. He's a low-end RB1 this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 28 5:23pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed 13 times for just 56 yards in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears, while he did not have any receptions on two targets.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley was nursing a groin injury during the week, and while he was shed from the injury report after practicing this week, he clearly isn't 100 percent. He will have a couple of extra days to recover before resuming play Monday night in Week 14 on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) practiced in full on Thursday, Nov. 27, and no longer appears on the injury report.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley being healthy makes him a must-play in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears. Fantasy players should have peace of mind plugging him in.

Nov 27 12:10am CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) was limited at practice on Wednesday. Barkley had his worst performance on the ground so far this season last week in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys, finishing with 22 yards on 10 attempts. Luckily for fantasy managers, he was able to find success in the passing game by catching seven balls for 52 yards, further proving how he can be efficient in more ways than one. Barkley shouldn't have the same run struggles on Friday as he faces a lackluster Bears defense allowing 138.1 rushing yards per game this year. Philly's offense fell stagnant in the second half against Dallas and is unlikely to do the same in what will be a hotly contested battle atop the NFC. Expect Barkley to get back to around 20 carries and be far more productive running the ball this week, and probably get a decent amount of targets through the air as well. His injury on a short week is something to keep an eye on, but if he's good to go he's a solid RB1.

From RotoBaller

Nov 26 3:20pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice, according to the team's official website. For the second straight day, Barkley was a limited participant as he manages a groin injury that he initially tweaked during the Eagles' Week 8 win over the New York Giants. The star running back hasn't missed any time because of the injury, but it's something that he and the team are managing on a short practice week as the Eagles host the Chicago Bears on Black Friday. Barkley should be good to go for that game and could clear the injury report by Thursday. It's been a disappointing season for the 28-year-old after his historic 2024 campaign, and he is coming off his worst rushing performance of the season in Week 12 against the Cowboys, rushing for just 22 yards on 10 carries, but added seven catches (eight targets) for 52 yards as a receiver. Tank Bigsby would be in line for a bigger role if Barkley were to miss Friday's matchup.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley should be on track to play in Week 13, but fantasy players will know more about his status after the last practice of the week. Barkley has been more productive during the second half of the season and should be a starting option in all leagues.

Nov 26 2:43pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles WR Xavier Gipson (shoulder), OT Lane Johnson (foot), S Andrew Mukuba (ankle) and WR DeVonta Smith (chest, illness, shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 26. RB Saquon Barkley (groin), S Reed Blankenship (thigh), OG Landon Dickerson (knee) and DE Brandon Graham (groin) were limited during practice. OT Myles Hinton (back) and OG Willie Lampkin (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice.

From TheHuddle

Nov 25 7:43pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (groin) was listed as a limited practice participant on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Fantasy Spin: Nothing to see here. Fantasy managers should expect Barkley to play Friday against the Chicago Bears. He hasn't been the sure-fire RB1 like last season but should still be in the lineup each week for his potential dominant two-way production.

From TheHuddle

Nov 25 7:40pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) was limited in Tuesday's practice due to a groin injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Barkley originally tweaked his groin in Week 8 against the New York Giants, but he hasn't missed any time because of it. The Eagles are likely just managing the injury and being cautious on a short week with the team facing the Chicago Bears on Black Friday in Week 13. Barkley still has two more days to return to a full practice, so he could be removed from the final injury report by Thursday. The 28-year-old has disappointed in 2025 in comparison to his monster 2024 campaign. Barkley had only 10 carries for 22 yards in the Week 12 loss to the Dallas Cowboys after seeing 20-plus carries in each of the previous two games. He salvaged his fantasy line, though, with a season-high seven catches for 52 yards on eight targets. If Barkley were to miss Friday's game, Tank Bigsby would likely see most of Philly's backfield touches.

Nov 23 10:33pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed 10 times for 22 yards and caught seven passes for 52 yards in a 24-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12. He also lost a fumble.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley had a season-low 22 rushing yards, but he did somewhat offset his struggles on the ground with a season-high seven receptions. Barkley continues to see plenty of touches, but big plays remain few and far between. He has become more of a high-floor RB2 with occasional RB1 outbursts.

From TheHuddle

Nov 21 9:20pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley set his season high for attempts last week against the Lions, carrying the ball 26 times for 83 yards. Given the opportunities, it wasn't a very productive game for Barkley and he'll try to turn things around this weekend against the Cowboys. One of his four rushing touchdowns this season came against Dallas in Week 1-a game where he also accounted for four catches and 84 total yards. The Cowboys have had trouble stopping the run this year, allowing 11 touchdowns through 10 games as well as giving up an average of 131.4 yards on the ground in those contests. They also allow the fifth-most fantasy points to RBs. The Eagles clearly trust Barkley to handle heavy workloads at this point in the season, giving him 62 rush attempts over the last three games, which should make managers optimistic about possible boom performances going forward. Consider him a solid RB1 in Week 12.

From RotoBaller

Nov 16 11:43pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley carried the ball 26 times for 83 yards versus the Detroit Lions in Week 11. Barkley was also targeted twice in the passing game, logging a seven-yard reception.

Fantasy Spin: Defenses continue to find ways to limit Barkley's impact in 2025. On Sunday night, the Lions held him to 3.2 yards per carry. That was the third time in four games (and sixth time this season) that Barkley has finished with less than 3.5 yards per carry, and he's still stuck on one 100-plus-yard rushing effort this year. As ever, Barkley's high usage is enough that he should remain locked in your lineup, and perhaps some easier defenses in the weeks ahead will allow Barkley to at least approach his 2024 form.

From TheHuddle

Nov 14 9:40pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has gone without a rushing touchdown in four of his last five games after Monday's 10-7 victory over the Packers. For a low-scoring game, however, Barkley did manage a decent fantasy outing with three catches for 41 yards and matched his season-high carry count with 22. On Sunday, he is faced with a Lions defense that allows the second-least amount of fantasy points to RBs this season, giving up just seven scores on the ground through nine games. In a game where the Eagles may need to play catch-up against a powerful Detroit offense, Barkley could also be in for less attempts if Philly has to rely on the passing game. While it's an uphill battle, he is the type of player that can dominate a game in any given week. Start Barkley as a solid RB1, but temper expectations ever so slightly.
