2024 RTSports Outlook

Levis didn't open the season as the starter for the Titans but took over that job starting in Week 8. He had a huge start to his career, throwing for 238 yards and four touchdowns without a turnover in his first game. Levis had just one other game the rest of his season with 20-plus fantasy points. He was up and down, which wasn't a surprise considering the lack of talent he had to work with in the Titans passing game. Levis finished the season with nine total touchdowns to four interceptions in nine games. He will open this season as the starter for the Titans with a new coaching staff calling plays for him. This should be a positive for him. Levis has great size for the position. He is very athletic and has a top arm. He can make all the throws in the pro game. He also isn't afraid to make plays with his legs. Levis has some accuracy issues, though, and turnovers can be an issue. He is not a finished product by any means, but last season was encouraging.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Levis is likely to be up and down in year two. He will have some big games but likely disappear at times as well. He will be spot start material for fantasy teams. Look for around 3,500-passing yards, 150-rushing yards and 25 total scores.

RotoBaller's Outlook

The Tennessee Titans have done their best to give quarterback Will Levis (foot) a chance to succeed with the influx of a new coaching staff led by head coach Brian Callahan, an improved offensive line, and the additions of wide receivers Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd and running back Tony Pollard. Veteran De'Andre Hopkins and third-year wide receiver Treylon Burks will also return in 2024. Levis had a rocky rookie season. His decision-making and ability to see pressure were certainly points of concern. However, one could argue that is the case for most rookie quarterbacks. It was not all bad. Levis did his best to protect the ball, only throwing for 1,808 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions over nine games. The 24-year-old was slowed by a foot injury late last season. Most importantly, Levis played with undeniable confidence. In only nine games, Levis finished 17th in deep ball attempts and number one in air yards per attempt. He was not afraid to cut it loose. While throwing it deep was not always the best decision, no one can coach confidence. With coaching refinement and an improved body of weapons around him, Levis should take a step forward. Levis is also a very good athlete with a rushing upside comparable to Justin Herbert. No one is clamoring for a superstar here, as Levis is currently being drafted as the QB26 and is ranked by RotoBaller as the QB24. However, if Levis can take a step forward as a passer and use his legs as a rusher, he could be a streaming option and solid second quarterback for superflex formats in 2024.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is likely headed toward a make-or-break season in 2024. The Kentucky product was not a first-round pick, and head coach Brian Callahan was not a part of the staff when he was selected in the 2023 NFL Draft. So far, the soon-to-be 25-year-old has made improvements this offseason. "Levis changed things with his base, tweaking his footwork. He's trying to get the ball out better, and cleaner, with improved technique," Titans beat reporter Jim Wyatt wrote. "He's getting on the same page with his new receivers. In the six practices open to media, Levis was charted at completing 37 of his 57 attempts (64.9%) in 7-on-7 periods. He had some good days this offseason and others that served more as learning experiences." Levis should have an improved offensive line in Year 2 after the team drafted Alabama tackle JC Latham with the No. 7 overall pick and signed former Broncos center Lloyd Cushenberry III. He'll also have Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to throw to along with DeAndre Hopkins, so the organization is trying to put the pieces together for him to be successful.

Tennessee Titans second-year quarterback Will Levis (foot) looked confident in organized team activities on Tuesday during 7-on-7 periods, going 7-for-10 on the day. Levis dealt with a foot injury late in his rookie season in 2023, but it was never considered a serious injury, and he looks to be 100 percent healthy for offseason workouts as he heads into his sophomore campaign in 2024. The former second-rounder last year out of Kentucky had his fair share of struggles in his first year in the NFL in a run-first offense, but under a new coaching staff that should place a much bigger emphasis on the air attack and with plenty of new weapons in the passing game, Levis remains one of the more intriguing young QBs with upside. He's more attractive in dynasty/keeper leagues still, but he should also be in play as a QB2 with upside in superflex formats.

The Tennessee Titans signed first-round offensive tackle JC Latham to his four-year, fully-guaranteed rookie deal on Friday worth $26.04 million. The deal was confirmed by his agents Drew Rosenhaus, Ryan Matha and Jason Rosenhaus. The contract also includes the standard fifth-year player option for first-round picks. The 21-year-old offensive lineman was taken by the Titans with the seventh overall pick out of Alabama. He will be a huge upgrade for an offensive line that was in need of serious help this offseason and should start from Day 1 in his rookie season, at least at right tackle. The addition of Latham in 2024 should have an immediate positive impact in fantasy for young quarterback Will Levis and the rest of Tennessee's option as they enter their first season without workhorse back Derrick Henry.

The Tennessee Titans selected Alabama offensive tackle JC Latham with the seventh overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft on Thursday night. The Titans were hoping that Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt, the consensus No. 1 offensive lineman in this class, would fall to them at No. 7, but that didn't happen -- he went to the Los Angeles Chargers at No. 5. Latham is a solid fallback option, though, and should immediately boost the protection for young quarterback Will Levis in Tennessee. The 21-year-old is a mauler at right tackle and short start immediately in his rookie season in the NFL in 2024. He weighed in at 342 pounds, so he's a mountain of a man with long arms and huge hands. This pick is great news for Levis and running backs Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears.

Dynasty | Titans quarterback Will Levis could be positioned for more success this season. Dynasty Analysis: This story is kind of from the land of the obvious but Levis really should be in a better spot going into next season. With Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins at receiver and Tony Pollard being signed to replace Derrick Henry, the Titans didn't exactly punt on helping him over the last month. Levis was electric in his first game action but turned into a glorified game manager the rest of the way. He's on the hot seat this year in Tennessee, though it would be a surprise to see them take a successor in the draft this year. Levis remains a hold in dynasty leagues.

The Athletic's Bruce Feldman has the Tennessee Titans (at No. 7 overall) stopping the position-player run early in the first round of this year's NFL draft by selecting Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt. That will especially be the case if the Titans think quarterback Will Levis has a legitimate chance to be the long-term QB. Alt is the best offensive-line prospect in this year's class and would give Tennessee a strong foundation up front after they took Peter Skoronski in 2023. The 21-year-old Alt impressed at the scouting combine and won't turn 22 until after his rookie year. "I like him a lot. He's as good as I've coached against in a long time. He's athletic. He's big. He's strong. He moves his feet real well. He's never in a bad position and he's never on the ground. Some of these guys, you can get them moving. This dude always had his pads square and played with low pad level," one coach said.

The Athletic's Joe Rexrode highlights the offensive line as the Tennessee Titans' biggest 2024 offseason need, specifically at left tackle, which has been a disaster zone the last two years after Taylor Lewan hung up his cleats. The Titans also could really use a new right tackle and center as well, and they need to hope that left guard Peter Skoronski, last year's first-round pick, starts living up to his draft billing in 2024. The tackle positions will most likely be more of a priority through the draft than free agency. It should help Tennessee's cause that new offensive line coach Bill Callahan will be coaching the position group moving forward. But if the Titans don't improve on the edges, young quarterback Will Levis could be in trouble.

According to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe, the Tennessee Titans still believe in quarterback Will Levis as their starter, and one of their top priorities this offseason is getting him receivers. It remains to be seen if general manager Ran Carthon drafts one of the top three wideouts -- Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, or Rome Odunze -- at No. 7 overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. The Titans could also use an NFL-high $75 million-plus in salary cap space to go after a top veteran in free agency. They could also do both to help support Levis. The 24-year-old had an up-and-down first year in the NFL in 2023 with 1,808 passing yards, eight TDs and four picks in nine starts, but now he has an offensive-minded head coach in Brian Callahan and should get some shiny new receiving weapons to boost his fantasy upside this offseason.

Former Las Vegas Raiders interim offensive coordinator Bo Hardegree is expected to be hired as the new Tennessee Titans' quarterbacks coach under new head coach Brian Callahan, according to sources. After Hardegree became the Raiders' interim offensive coordinator in Week 9 last year, the team averaged 23 points per game, ranking inside the top half of the league. It was an impressive feat for Hardegree while working with fourth-round rookie QB Aidan O'Connell. He'll now be tasked with developing Will Levis as he heads into his second season in the NFL under an entire new coaching staff. Hardegree began his NFL coaching career in 2014 as an offensive quality control coach with the Denver Broncos and has also worked with the Bears, Dolphins, Jets and Patriots.

The Tennessee Titans are hiring Jacksonville Jaguars passing-game coordinator Nick Holz as their new offensive coordinator under head coach Brian Callahan on Friday, according to sources. Prior to joining the Jaguars, Holz was the offensive coordinator at UNLV and was on the Las Vegas Raiders' coaching staff before that as an offensive assistant, a stint that included coaching Maurice Jones-Drew, his high school teammate at De La Salle High School in California. Callahan was also on that high school team. Holz's first college coaching job came in 2007 when Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan, Brian's father, hired him as a video intern and offensive assistant. Holz then went on to become an offensive and operations assistant with Stanford, working with Andrew Luck. He will now look to help improve second-year QB Will Levis in Tennessee, although Callahan will be calling the plays.
