Although the Chiefs opened Moore's practice window to come off IR recently, he has yet to put in a full practice and was listed as doubtful to play in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles at the end of last week. Moore is almost certainly going to have to upgrade to a full practice on Friday to have a realistic chance of coming off IR to be active on Sunday. There's no guarantee that Moore will even see any offensive snaps against the Eagles in the unlikely event that he's even active. The 24-year-old former second-round selection in 2022 out of Western Michigan had no catches on three targets in the six games he played in 2024 before landing on IR.

The third-year pro suddenly popped up with a core muscle injury in late October and was immediately placed on injured reserve. With another week of practices on tap before the post-season's finale, the 24-year-old still has a shot to elevate his status for the big game. The last time we saw Moore appear in a contest was before the team acquired fellow wideout DeAndre Hopkins, so it will be interesting to see how he's deployed when he's finally healthy. It is unclear whether that will be before their meeting with the Eagles, so expect Hopkins and Justin Watson to continue to round out Kansas City's WR rotation in the meantime.
