New York Jets running back Breece Hall carried the ball 15 times for 74 yards and caught two of his four targets for 11 yards in a 21-13 win over the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game. Hall dominated the backfield work for the Jets in the close win as he out-touched Braelon Allen 16 to four in the contest. The veteran running back has now rushed for 502 yards while catching 35 passes for 327 yards and four all-purpose touchdowns through nine games this season. He will be an RB1 in fantasy heading into a Week 10 road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Oct 30 10:00pm ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall ran for 80 scoreless yards on 18 carries in a Week 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will look for more in Week 9's Thursday night game against the Houston Texans. Houston has been tough on opposing running backs this season as they are allowing just the 29th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Despite the tough matchup, Hall remains busy enough in the passing game to make him mostly matchup-proof from a fantasy perspective, so he can still be treated as a mid-range RB1 heading into Week 9.

Oct 27 9:20pm ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall carried the ball 16 times for 80 yards and caught one of his three targets for nine yards in a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8. Hall turned in a solid game on the ground but saw Braelon Allen vulture a short touchdown from him while also siphoning away 12 carries in the close loss. Hall's output in the passing game also comes as a disappointment after he racked up 11 catches for 159 yards in his previous two games. He will be a solid RB1 in fantasy heading into a Week 9 Thursday night matchup against the Houston Texans.

Oct 25 7:40pm ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is in the midst of a fantastic two-game stretch as he's amassed 151 rushing yards, 159 receiving yards, and a touchdown over that span. He will look to stay hot in a road matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 8. The Patriots represent a plus matchup for Hall as they are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs in 2024. Hall is primed for a huge afternoon against the Patriots and should be treated as a top-three fantasy running back heading into Week 8.

Oct 22 8:20pm ET

Jets' RB Breece Hall scored 26.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 7 loss in Pittsburgh. Hall ran for 38 yards and caught six passes for 103 yards with one touchdown.

Oct 21 3:30pm ET

New York Jets' RB Breece Hall had 6 receptions for 103 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's loss in Pittsburgh.

Oct 21 5:20am ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall carried the ball 12 times for 38 yards and a touchdown while adding six catches for 103 yards in a 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. For the second consecutive week, Hall dominated the backfield touches as Braelon Allen saw just two carries in the lopsided loss to the Steelers. Hall showed his skills in the passing game on Sunday night as he wound up leading the Jets in receiving. The veteran running back is putting together a solid season, rushing for 348 yards and adding 32 catches for 307 yards and four all-purpose touchdowns through seven games. Hall will be an RB1 in fantasy when the Jets take on the New England Patriots in Week 8. He ran for 54 yards and a touchdown back when these two teams met in Week 3.

Oct 19 9:10am ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall turned in one of his most productive games of the season in a Week 6 loss to the Buffalo Bills, racking up 169 all-purpose yards. The coaching change at offensive coordinator ahead of Week 6 was beneficial to Hall as the Jets went away from rookie Braelon Allen, giving Hall 23 touches to Allen's three. Hall will look to stay hot against the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in Week 7's Sunday night game. The Steelers have been tough on running backs this season, allowing just the 25th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Hall's recent usage surge plus his production in the passing game keeps him in RB1 territory in Week 7 despite the difficult matchup.

Oct 15 5:50am ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall carried the ball 18 times for 113 yards and caught five of his six targets for 56 yards in a 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. The veteran back's first 100-yard rushing game of the season was a welcome sight after he had struggled greatly in his previous two games. Hall also made an impact in the passing attack as his 56 receiving yards were third-most on the Jets in the close loss on Monday night. The speedy running back now has rushed for 310 yards and two touchdowns while adding 26 catches for 204 yards and a receiving touchdown through six games. The Jets will now begin preparing to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. Hall can be considered a mid-range RB1 for that matchup.

Oct 12 9:20am ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall has struggled greatly over the past two weeks, rushing for just 27 yards on 19 carries over that span. He will look to turn things around against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6's Monday night game. The Bills have been average against running backs this season, allowing the 15th-most fantasy points per game to the position through five games. Buffalo is also very tough against the pass, which could lead to a more run-heavy game plan for the Jets heading into Monday night. Hall hasn't been great for fantasy of late but he's still an explosive player who does plenty of damage in the passing game. That keeps him in the conversation as a low-end RB1 in fantasy in Week 6.

Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall had 23 rushing yards, three catches and 14 receiving yards in a loss to the Vikings in London. Dynasty Analysis: Ouch. After five games, Hall still doesn't have 200 yards rushing or a single game with more than 62 on the year. His three touchdowns and 21 total catches have helped, but this is now getting very concerning. Braelon Allen took six more touches away today and had 28 yards of his own. It seems the Jets are fine with a two-back system and really not using either effectively. Hall is still a player to keep in your lineup but the dream of him becoming an elite RB1 this season has effectively turned into a nightmare.

Oct 6 2:10pm ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall struggled for a second straight game in a 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 in London. Hall gained just 23 yards on nine carries while adding three catches for 14 yards in the close loss to Minnesota. The Jets opted for an extremely pass-heavy offense against a Vikings defense that has shut down opponents' running games but has struggled to slow the pass, which hurt Hall in the final box score. Hall has now run for just 27 scoreless yards over his past two games after scoring three times over the first three weeks of the season. Worth kicking the tires on as a buy-low this upcoming week, Hall will look to bounce back in Week 6's Monday night game against the Buffalo Bills.

Oct 4 4:50pm ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is coming off his worst game of the season as he ran for just four yards on 10 carries in a loss to the Denver Broncos. Hall had found the end zone in his three previous games, so he will look to get back to the end zone in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings in London. The Vikings will be a tough test for Hall as they are allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs with only Jordan Mason managing double-digit fantasy points against them this season. Hall should see enough work in the passing game to insulate him against having a bad game but he is more of a mid to low-range RB1 heading into Week 5. Fantasy gamers relying on Vikings and Jets players this weekend will want to set their lineups early as the London game kicks off at 9:30 AM EST on Sunday.

Reporters again questioned New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh on Wednesday about the team's running back usage, but he might have hinted that not much will change moving forward. Specifically, Saleh was asked about rookie running back Braelon Allen and whether or not he'd be further integrated into New York's scheme. "He's already been integrated," said Saleh, "I feel like he gets a lot of run every week." The comments come a few days after the Jets head coach was suggested to use Allen more extensively in short-yardage and goal-line situations. He also remarked on how he believed Breece Hall's subpar performance against the Denver Broncos in Week 4 to be an "outlier" and credited the Broncos' defense for holding up. "Breece was batting 1.000 in goal-line situations this year. He's been doing great in short-yardage situations also." It would appear that fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief as the 20-year-old should not further eat into Hall's workload. Still, they must be disappointed at the division of touches thus far. He and the Jets will have another tough matchup this week when they take on the Minnesota Vikings in London.

Sep 29 9:30pm ET

Following Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos, New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh commented on running backs Breece Hall and Braelon Allen and how they might be used in goal-line situations moving forward. Specifically, reporters asked Saleh why he chose not to sub out Hall for Allen when the team was deep in Broncos' territory. "It was still kind of early when that play came about, but definitely something we can look at," said Saleh, "We're always going to lean on Breece, he's our workhorse back... It's definitely something to look at." The comments in question regard a series of plays where New York had a first-and-goal from the one-yard line, and Hall was stuffed on first and second-down handoffs. Braelon Allen was subbed in on third, but the Jets ran a pass play that fell incomplete. Despite intending to go for it on fourth-down, a penalty forced them to settle for a field goal. It's encouraging to see the Jets head coach give his RB1 the vote of confidence. However, one has to wonder if this will affect his decision-making for the remainder of the season. The rookie RB was a far more effective rusher Sunday, averaging 4.3 yards on his eight carries, while the presumed starter finished with four yards on ten attempts. The former Cyclone is unlikely to lose his job as the 1A in New York's backfield, but he may lose out on some valuable touches moving forward. The Jets will be the "home" team in Week 5 when they square off against the Minnesota Vikings in London

Sep 29 8:00pm ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall carried the ball 10 times for four yards and caught two of his five targets for 14 yards in a 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4. It was a rough afternoon for Hall and the rest of the New York offense as they were unable to cross the goal line at any point, instead settling for three field goals in the low-scoring loss. Hall's performance easily goes down as his worst of the season as he had found the end zone in each of his previous three contests before running into the Broncos on Sunday. The veteran running back will now begin preparations to take on the Minnesota Vikings in London in Week 5. Fantasy gamers should count on him to bounce back and deliver an RB1 performance for them in that matchup.

Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall ran for four yards on ten carries, adding 14 yards on two catches in a loss against Denver. Dynasty Analysis: Gross. Hall ceded eight carries to Braelon Allen, who is quickly looking like a serious thorn in his side. While Hall is clearly the better player, the Jets have yet to find a rhythm on offense and he hasn't been able to find his groove thus far. There should be better days ahead but the talk about Hall being the overall RB1 this season seem to be a little premature. Hall remains a solid hold or potential buy low in dynasty leagues after week four.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Sep 29 4:30pm ET

New York Jets' RB Breece Hall averaged a dreadful 0.4 yards per carry on 10 attempts in Sunday's loss against the Broncos.

Sep 27 7:50pm ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall has scored a touchdown in all three of his games this season while racking up 170 rushing yards and 16 catches for 120 yards. He will look to stay hot in a home game against the Denver Broncos in Week 4. The Broncos have been middle-of-the-road against running backs this season, allowing the 15th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Even while splitting carries with talented rookie Braelon Allen, Hall has been one of the most dynamic running backs in the league and is a must-start as a top-three fantasy running back heading into Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 5:30am ET

New York Jets running back Breece Hall carried the ball 16 times for 54 yards and a touchdown while adding four catches for 29 yards in a 24-3 win over the New England Patriots in Week 3's Thursday night game. Hall extended his touchdown streak to three straight games with a one-yard run in the second quarter, putting the Jets up 13-0. The veteran running back has been excellent through three weeks, with 170 rushing yards and 16 catches for 120 yards. Hall is locked in as a high-end RB1 in fantasy moving forward. He will now have a few extra days to rest ahead of a Week 4 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
