The Athletic's Dianna Russini doesn't expect the New York Jets to move wide receivers Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams and cornerback D.J. Reed by Tuesday's NFL trade deadline. The Jets have been receiving calls about the availability of Wilson and Reed lately. New York needs to do a lot of work to even be in the playoff picture by the end of the regular season, but they took a step forward by beating the Houston Texans on Thursday night to improve their record to 3-6. Wilson caught nine of his 10 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the 21-13 win and is still a must-start for fantasy managers despite the recent addition of Adams. Adams also had a strong game in Week 8, going for seven receptions on 11 targets for 91 yards and a score against Houston. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will continue to lean heavily on his top two pass-catchers.

Dynasty | Jets receiver Garrett Wilson had nine catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns in a win against Houston. Dynasty Analysis: The addition of Davante Adams hasn't affected Wilson much thus far and he had two spectacular touchdown catches on the night. While there are going to be some ups and downs this year with the Jets, Wilson has been a constant contributor. For dynasty managers hoping to buy low after the Adams deal, that window slammed shut after this week's performance.
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson turned in a huge game in his team's 21-13 win over the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game. Wilson caught nine of his 10 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns to help down the Texans in the close game. The veteran receiver's second touchdown was impressive as he made a leaping, one-handed grab in close coverage in the back of the end zone and just barely got both feet down in bounds for a 26-yard score. Wilson is hitting his stride after a quiet start to the season and has 60 catches for 663 yards and five touchdowns through nine games. He will be a low-end WR1 heading into a Week 10 road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has notched three 100-yard receiving games over his past four contests. He will look to keep it going against the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game. Wilson has yet to feel a target squeeze with Davante Adams in town as he has 17 in the two games since the Jets added the latter in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Texans have been vulnerable against receivers this season as they are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position in 2024. Wilson sets up as a high-end WR2 heading into Week 9.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught five of his eight targets for 113 yards in a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8. Wilson led the Jets in all receiving categories while averaging a season-high 22.6 yards per catch in the close loss to the Patriots. The veteran wideout has been playing well of late as this goes into the books as his third 100-yard receiving game over his past four contests. Wilson will be a low-end WR1 in fantasy heading into Week 9's Thursday night game against the Houston Texans.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets' WR Garrett Wilson had 5 receptions for 113 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's loss in New England.
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson showed he could coexist with Davante Adams last week as he caught five of his nine targets for 61 yards while adding a two-point conversion catch in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will look to stay involved in the offense against the New England Patriots on the road in Week 8. The Patriots have been mediocre against wide receivers this season, allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Wilson caught five passes for 33 yards and a touchdown back when these two teams met in Week 3 and can be utilized as a high-end WR2 heading into Week 8's rematch.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught six of his nine targets for 61 yards in a 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. Wilson and Davante Adams wound up both drawing nine targets in their first game together since the Jets acquired the latter in the trade from the Las Vegas Raiders last week. For fantasy managers with Wilson on their rosters, it was encouraging to see as there were some concerns the addition of Adams would cut into Wilson's production. Wilson now has 46 catches for 460 yards and three touchdowns through seven games this season. He will take on the New England Patriots in Week 8 in a rematch from Week 3 when he caught five passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, "a select group of NFL teams" have contacted the Jets regarding the availability of wide receiver Garrett Wilson. With New York recently acquiring Davante Adams, there are many who believe Wilson's days with the Jets are over. However, there hasn't been any indication suggesting the team would make a move, considering he's one of the league's most promising young receivers. Although Wilson was expected to have a breakout year in 2024-25, that hasn't happened. But in all fairness, he hasn't been horrible, amassing 41 catches for 399 yards and three touchdowns. It remains to be seen if Wilson and Adams can co-exist, so the situation is worth monitoring moving ahead. For now, the 24-year-old remains a must-start for Sunday Night's meeting with the Steelers.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson will face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in Week 7's Sunday night game. Wilson is coming off an extremely productive two-game stretch in which he has caught 21 of his 33 targets for 208 yards and two touchdowns. That being said, he faces increased competition for targets after the Jets added Davante Adams in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier in the week. Adams, of course, was a longtime favorite target of Aaron Rodgers when the two played together with the Green Bay Packers. Wilson downgrades to more of a WR2 in fantasy moving forward as he will not be seeing the type of target volume he did in Weeks 5 and 6. The Steelers have also been tough on fantasy wideouts in 2024, allowing the 23rd-fewest fantasy points per game to the position. Wilson should still be started in all leagues but fantasy managers should temper expectations.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught eight of his 10 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in a 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. Wilson found the end zone for the second straight game and the third time in his past four games on a five-yard catch in the first quarter in the close loss on Monday night. The veteran wideout appears to be finding his chemistry with Aaron Rodgers of late as he's now caught 21 of his 33 targets for 208 yards over his past two games. Wilson is now sitting at 41 catches for 399 yards and three touchdowns on the season as the Jets will now begin preparing to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. After a slow start to the season, Wilson can be trusted as a WR1 in fantasy moving forward.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson turned in his best game of the season against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5, catching 13 of his 23 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown. He will look for another big performance in Week 6's Monday night game against the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo's secondary should provide more resistance for Wilson than Minnesota's as they have been tough against wide receivers, allowing the 26th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Tough matchup aside, Wilson reinforced last week that he is still the top target in New York despite Aaron Rodgers' strong rapport with Allen Lazard. Fantasy gamers should temper expectations for the entire Jets passing game in Week 6 but Wilson can still be started as a mid-range WR2.
From RotoBaller
Jets' WR Garrett Wilson scored 29.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 5 loss in Minnesota. Wilson caught 13 passes for 101 yards with one touchdown.
Dynasty | Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught 13 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown on a whopping 22 targets in a loss to the Vikings in London. Dynasty Analysis: Wilson was the entire offense for the Jets while many of you were sleeping this morning. At this point, New York looks content just abandoning the run and trying to just get Wilson the football. It's great in fantasy football, but likely not sustainable. Still, this was Wilson's best game and any "buy low" window for him in dynasty leagues slammed shut across the pond.
New York Jets' WR Garrett Wilson had 13 receptions for 101 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's loss in Minnesota.
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught 13 of his 22 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in a 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London in Week 5. Wilson easily set season highs across the board while drawing a ridiculous 22 targets against a leaky Minnesota secondary, although his 101 receiving yards still come in as a bit of a disappointment considering how much work he got. Wilson's touchdown came midway through the fourth quarter and put the Jets down just four points, but it wasn't enough as they were able to find the end zone again. Wilson will look to build upon his strong outing in Week 6's Monday night game against the Buffalo Bills.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is off to a slow start in 2024, with just 20 catches for 191 yards and one touchdown through four games. He will look to bounce back in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings in London. The Vikings represent a plus matchup for Wilson as they are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts thus far. The Vikings also have a tough run defense, which should encourage the Jets to skew more pass-heavy as they look to bounce back from a 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos last week. Until he shows a higher ceiling, Wilson is more of a WR2 in fantasy than a WR1 but he should still be in starting lineups in what is a great matchup for him. Fantasy gamers relying on Jets and Vikings players will want to set their lineups early as the London game kicks off at 9:30 AM EST on Sunday.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson expressed concerns about the team's offensive approach, stating, "I watch football on Sundays and see a lot of teams mixing it up. I don't think we do that." The Jets' offense struggled during their disappointing 10-;9 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4, scoring only nine points in a lackluster performance. Wilson also had a forgettable game, catching five passes on eight targets for just 41 yards, failing to make a significant impact. This season has been a slow start for the third-year receiver, who has recorded 20 catches for 191 yards and one touchdown on 34 targets across four games. He's on track for 764 receiving yards, a drop from his previous two seasons, where he surpassed 1,000 yards. Wilson was expected to thrive alongside a healthy Aaron Rodgers, but so far, he hasn't exceeded 60 receiving yards in any game this year and hasn't caught more than six passes in a single outing. He's reached the end zone once and has not had a reception longer than 26 yards. Speculation about a potential trade for Davante Adams to the Jets could further complicate Wilson's disappointing 2024 season. Ultimately, the Jets need to make changes to revitalize their offense, especially with tough matchups on the horizon.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught five of his eight targets for 41 yards and lost a fumble in a 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4. Wilson and the Jets offense struggled on a rainy day, failing to score any touchdowns in the low-scoring loss. The veteran wide receiver wound up finishing third on the Jets in receiving yards despite tying for the team lead in targets and catches. Wilson has underwhelmed as Aaron Rodgers' No .1 receiver thus far this season, failing to top 60 receiving yards in a game and scoring just one touchdown on the year. Looking more like a fantasy WR2 instead of the WR1 he was drafted to be, Wilson will look to bounce back against the Minnesota Vikings in London in Week 5.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson finally found the end zone in Week 3, finishing with five catches for 33 yards and a score in a win over the New England Patriots. He will look to stay hot in Week 4's home game against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos represent a difficult matchup for Wilson as they are allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts through three games. Wilson is expected to draw primary coverage from star corner Patrick Surtain II on Sunday. Surtain is fresh off locking Mike Evans up in Week 3, holding the star veteran to just two catches for 17 yards. The Jets will likely lean on their running game in this one, making Wilson more of a WR2 instead of his typical WR1 projection. That being said, he should still be in starting lineups this weekend, just temper expectations.
