Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill brought in 3-of-6 targets for 24 yards in the team's 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He also rushed once for a gain of 12 yards. The Dolphins had trouble getting anything going after their first scoring drive of the game early in the first quarter. Hill would finish the night third on his team in targets while quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) tossed three interceptions and was forced from the game early. It was the first time since Week 18 of 2022 that neither Hill nor Jaylen Waddle led the team in receiving yards. Skylar Thompson will start for the team if Tagovailoa misses extended time and would be a downgrade for all offensive skill players -- including the ninth-year veteran. Fortunately, the Dolphins have ten days before their next contest -- a road matchup with the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3.

Sep 13 2:33am ET

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was targeted six times, catching three passes for 24 yards, in a Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Spin: Thursday night was the second-lowest yardage output of Hill's two-plus seasons with the Dolphins. That's noteworthy because the only one lower came in Week 18 of the 2022 season when he posted two catches for 25 yards in a game that doubled as Skylar Thompson's only other regular-season start. While that wouldn't be enough to advocate benching Hill if Thompson started in Week 3 or beyond, it's something to be aware of.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill will be a must-start option as usual in Week 2 when the team takes on the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. After being detained by police before kickoff this past Sunday, Hill caught 7-of-12 targets for 130 yards and scored a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was mostly locked down early in the game, but Cheetah shook free for an 80-yard score in the second half as the Jags would eventually fall 20-17. With running back Raheem Mostert (chest) ruled out and De'Von Achane (ankle) a game-time decision, expect quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to lean on the veteran wideout and his running mate Jaylen Waddle to open the second week of NFL action. Aside from edge-rusher Greg Rousseau, no other Bills defender graded higher than 68.7 per PFF in Week 1. Hill is again RotoBaller's No. 1 PPR WR play this week.

Miami Dolphins' WR Tyreek Hill scored 26.00 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 1 win against the Jaguars. Hill caught seven passes for 130 yards with one touchdown. It's the 1st time this season Hill scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Sep 9 1:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill received two citations as a result of his traffic stop on Sunday before the Week 1 regular-season opener on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to sources. Hill was cited for careless driving and a seatbelt violation. The Miami-Dade Police Department said it remains an internal investigation, so they cannot provide details into what led to the citation for careless driving or why Hill was detained face-down on the ground in handcuffs. In the 20-17 win over the Jags, the 30-year-old All-Pro wideout went off for seven catches on 12 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown. The Cheetah will be able to suit up for a Week 2 contest on Thursday Night Football this week against the division-rival Buffalo Bills, where he'll be a must-start in all fantasy lineups as one of the best receivers in the game.

Sep 8 6:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill finished with seven receptions for 130 yards and an 80-yard touchdown in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, bouncing back after being detained due to a minor traffic violation prior to the opener.

Fantasy Spin: Hill got off to a slow start, and fantasy managers were wringing their hands until Cheetah shook free for an 80-yard touchdown with 2:08 to go in the third quarter. The long scoring reception obviously turned a terrible start and day into another strong fantasy line. He'll look to keep it going in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills on a short week Thursday. Hill had seven grabs for 82 yards and a TD on 13 targets at home against Buffalo Jan. 7, 2024 in the most recent meeting.

Sep 8 5:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill caught seven of 12 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Fins' 20-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cheetah got himself into trouble before the game even started, as it was reported police temporarily detained him in a traffic incident just one block away from Hard Rock Stadium. While it was nothing, the Dolphins' offense began the game a bit flat as most of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's passes were short completions that relied on their recipients' yards-after-catch ability. Hill entered the half with an un-Tyreek-like five receptions for 29 yards, but the veteran wideout could only be contained for so long. On Miami's third possession of the second half, Tua hit his No. 1 target on a deep crosser that turned into an electric 80-yard score. He would then add a 21-yard catch on the team's final drive before Jason Sanders drilled a field goal attempt with time expiring to give the Dolphins the win. Hill will be on a short week of rest ahead of a juicy matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.

Dynasty | Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was detained outside Miami's stadium prior to the start of their opening day game. Dynasty Analysis: Hill was stopped for what is being called a minor traffic violation but video shows him on the ground in handcuffs. This is a story that's not going to go away any time soon as details are a little sketchy at the moment. What we do know is Hill was released and will play. This looks like an ugly situation that may have been totally avoided but we won't rush to judgment. Regardless, Hill is locked into lineups this morning.

Sep 8 11:50am ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is officially active for the Week 1 regular-season opener on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hill was pulled over and detained by police on his way to the stadium on Sunday for reckless driving but was released and will play in the season opener. Apparently, the 30-year-old was in a rush to get to the field and get his 2024 campaign started. Despite dealing with a thumb injury late in training camp and missing some practice time, the Cheetah is 100% good to go for the first game against the Jags and should be firmly locked into all starting fantasy lineups as an elite, high-end WR1. Hill last year led the NFL in receiving yards (1,799), touchdowns (13) and yards per game (112.4) and has excellent chemistry with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was detained Sunday, Sept. 8, for a minor traffic violation but is expected to play in Week 1, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players can monitor the situation to see if the incident affects his availability down the road, but he is on track to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He remains one of the top receivers in the NFL and is a must-start option in all leagues.

Sep 8 11:10am ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was reportedly detained by police while heading to the stadium. The stop was for a driving violation, so it doesn't sound too serious. Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus says that Hill will play today during the Week 1 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fantasy managers shouldn't be too concerned about this as it seems like a minor issue. Stay tuned for more updates, but Hill should be a locked in WR1 for Week 1 as long as he plays.

Sep 5 3:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (thumb) is fully healthy heading into Sunday's home-opening tilt against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The veteran wideout is in a smash spot for Week 1 against a Jacksonville squad that ranked seventh-most in yards and touchdowns allowed through the air in 2023. Hill spent most of the preseason tending to a thumb injury that held him out of action, but his Week 1 status was never in doubt. The ninth-year speedster was back at practice this week and is primed for another tremendous season under Mike McDaniel on a high-flying Dolphins offense. Expect him and running mate Jaylen Waddle to dominate targets again in a particularly funneled Miami passing attack. With an implied 26-point total for his team, Hill is RotoBaller's top overall play in PPR leagues heading into Week 1.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (thumb) will practice Monday, Sept. 2.

Fantasy Spin: The Cheetah is expected to be ready for Week 1 after missing a lot of the preseason with a thumb injury. He remains a top-three WR in fantasy. The Jacksonville Jaguars are a solid matchup for him.

From TheHuddle

Sep 2 11:20am ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (thumb) is set to be a full participant at practice on Monday. Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters that he and Jaylen Waddle are both going to practice after being limited beforehand. Now that the team is entering the first week of the season, both receivers have no setbacks and they're good to go. Hill is being drafted in the top three in most fantasy formats with an ADP of exactly three. The superstar wideout was an MVP candidate for most of last season and he finished with 1799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns while hauling in 119 of his 171 targets. A lot of the same is on the docket for this year as he's thrived under McDaniel's offense. Now that he's a full go, fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief for Week 1.

Aug 29 4:20pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (thumb) remained sidelined during Thursday's practice, according to David Furones of the Sun Sentinel. Hill has been wearing a brace on his right hand for the past few weeks, but Head Coach Mike McDaniel stressed that the star wideout could practice if needed. While the 30-year-old has yet to return to full practice activities, fantasy managers should not be overly concerned with the superstar's status. The Dolphins will lean on the side of caution to ensure that Hill is ready for their season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars in just over a week. Last season, Hill eclipsed the 1,700-yard mark for the second straight year while scoring 13 touchdowns. Given his elite speed and consistency, Hill remains a safe pick at the top of all fantasy drafts.

From RotoBaller

Aug 21 1:10pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (thumb) is dealing with a minor right-thumb injury that will keep him out of most, if not all, of Wednesday's joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The odds are near zero that Hill will play in Friday's preseason finale. He was limited in practice on Tuesday and was wearing a brace on his hand/wrist. Head coach Mike McDaniel said the injury isn't expected to impact Hill's availability for the Week 1 regular-season opener. Basically, the Dolphins are playing it safe with the Cheetah this week. If it was already the regular season, Hill would most likely be practicing and playing. Fantasy managers should have no worries selecting the 30-year-old speedster as one of the first wideouts off the board with one of the first picks of the first round in upcoming drafts. Hill led the NFL with 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns in 16 regular-season games in 2023.
