Nov 1 12:40pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (back/knee) was seen at Friday's practice according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. This is a great sign for the 27-year-old who has yet to practice this week due to back and knee injuries. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to Friday's injury report as the superstar quarterback may carry an injury designation in the weekend if he is unable to log a full practice. Jackson has been one of the most productive fantasy QBs once again this season as he has averaged a stellar 29.4 PPR points per game with 19 total scores through eight weeks. If Jackson is unable to play on Sunday, Josh Johnson would get the starting nod against the Denver Broncos.

Nov 1 12:03pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back, knee) returned to practice Friday, Nov. 1.

Fantasy Spin: After missing the first two practices of the week, Jackson has a chance to play in Week 9. As long as he's active, he should be started in all formats. Managers should have a pivot option just in case.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 2:53pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back, knee) did not practice for a second consecutive day on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Spin: While Jackson will occasionally get a rest day or two during the week, it is slightly concerning anytime a player misses both of his team's first two practices of the week. It still seems unlikely Jackson will miss Week 9 against the Denver Broncos after finishing the game last week, but fantasy managers should at least start lining up potential backup options if does not practice again on Friday. Josh Johnson would get the starting nod at quarterback if Jackson cannot play but would not be a great option in fantasy outside of two-quarterback leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 2:30pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (back/knee) is not practicing on Thursday and did not practice on Wednesday due to knee and back injuries. It's too early to suggest he is at real risk of missing the Week 9 game against the Denver Broncos, but this is a concerning development. Jackson missed 10 total games between the 2021 and 2022 seasons, so the team is likely to be extra cautious with its two-time MVP. Either way, his status should be closely monitored on Friday. If Jackson plays, he's a must-start option in all matchups. If he's out, veteran Josh Johnson will get the start and will be a Superflex-league consideration in starting lineups. The Baltimore wideouts and tight ends will be heavily downgraded in the rankings if Jackson is absent against a strong Denver Broncos defense.

Oct 30 6:30pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (back/knee) was a DNP in practice on Wednesday due to back and knee injuries. Wednesday is often a rest day for veterans so Jackson's lack of participation is not concerning at this point. Providing further confidence in Jackson's ability to bounce back is the fact that he played so well in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns while showing no sign of a significant injury. Jackson threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns and added 46 yards on the ground. He posted a QBR of 80.3. Jackson has had an MVP-caliber season in 2024. He has thrown for 2,099 yards and 17 touchdowns with only two interceptions. He has added 501 rushing yards and two touchdowns. His QBR of 74.9 is the second-highest of his career. Fantasy managers who have been relying on that kind of production should monitor the Ravens' practice report on Thursday and Friday to ensure that Jackson logs some level of activity. As long as he retakes the field before the weekend, then his DNP on Wednesday should be a null point.

Oct 30 6:23pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back, knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Fantasy Spin: The Ravens said Jackson was receiving some rest, so fantasy players will need to see if he will be able to practice later in the week. He is a must-start option in all leagues if he is cleared to play in Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 3:30pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (undisclosed) is not on the practice field during Wednesday's practice session that is open to the media. The two-time NFL MVP finished the Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns, so it's unclear what is causing his absence. However, the team's official Wednesday injury report that comes out later in the afternoon will bring clarity. Assuming Jackson is good to go for the Week 9 matchup with the Denver Broncos, he will once again have overall QB1 upside in fantasy football. The Broncos have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, but Jackson has proven to have a nuclear fantasy ceiling in any matchup. Jackson is the QB1 so far in 2024, averaging 25.5 fantasy points per game behind 2,099 passing yards, 501 rushing yards, and 19 total touchdowns. Josh Johnson would start for Baltimore if Jackson cannot go.

Oct 29 1:00pm ET

Ravens' QB Lamar Jackson scored 27.05 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 8 loss in Cleveland. Jackson threw for 289 yards on 23-of-38 with two touchdowns. It's the 6th time this season Jackson scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Oct 27 9:10pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson posted his most inefficient throwing day but is able to put together a QB1-level fantasy performance. He registered 289 yards and two touchdowns while throwing 23-for-38 and added 46 yards on eight carries. Jackson led the offense down the field to get a late-game lead when Derrick Henry punched in a two-yard score, but was unable to make up for their defense's mistakes in a final game-winning drive. The Ravens' third-down offense couldn't convert for most of the game either. That said, the two-time MVP still posted a high-quality fantasy day. They'll return home for a Week 9 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 4:33pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson completed 23-of-38 passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns, while running eight times for 46 yards.

Fantasy Spin: This week, Jackson connected with WR Zay Flowers for seven receptions for 115 yards, after connecting for over 100 yards with a score to Rashod Bateman last week. he has a solid cadre of receivers, and a strong run game with himself and RB Derrick Henry. Jackson has been a top fantasy quarterback all season, but he has a tough matchup in Week 9 against the visiting Denver Broncos.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 5:20pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is considered the front-runner for his third MVP so far through seven weeks. He'll lead the high-powered Ravens offense into Cleveland to take on the Browns in their second AFC North matchup of the year. Jackson currently sits at QB1 and has the fifth-most passing yards, second-most passing touchdowns, and the second-most yards per attempt amongst starting quarterbacks. While the Browns are a tougher matchup against opposing QBs, Jackson will look to take advantage of a tired defensive unit while their offense lacks firepower. In his career, Jackson has a 7-4 record against the Browns with 1,813 passing yards and 20 total touchdowns. He remains a must-start.

Oct 23 8:15pm ET

Ravens' QB Lamar Jackson scored an impressive 38.25 fantasy points in Monday's Week 7 win in Tampa Bay. Jackson threw for 281 yards on 17-of-22 with five touchdowns. It's the 5th time this season Jackson scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Oct 22 8:00am ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has now won the QB1 versus QB2 duel two weeks in a row after leading the team to a 41-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In this shootout, Jackson finished with 281 yards and five touchdowns while throwing 17-for-22 and adding 52 yards on nine carries. The two-time MVP picked apart Tampa Bay's defense with a variety of short, medium, and deep passes all for touchdowns. Jackson and company will travel to Cleveland for another AFC North matchup in Week 8 looking for their sixth consecutive win.

Oct 22 3:13am ET

Dynasty | Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson completed 17-of-22 passes for 281 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against Tampa Bay. Dynasty Analysis: Jackson is playing as well as he has at any point in his career and now has 15 touchdowns and just two interceptions on the season. When you add his 455 rushing yards and two more scores, you have the looks of a player poised to be the overall QB1 this season. Jackson has benefitted greatly from the addition of Derrick Henry and while his age is going to limit his dynasty value, there are few players to have in your lineup who are better.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Oct 21 11:43pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson completed 17-of-22 passes for 281 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he ran nine times for 52 yards. He was also credited with a lost fumble.

Fantasy Spin: Jackson has turned up the intensity lately, especially on the road, throwing for nine touchdowns in his past two games away from home. He is averaging 317.3 passing yards per game in the past three outings, too. Jackson, an MVP candidate yet again, is looking like one of the best, if not the best, options in fantasy football. Jackson and the Ravens travel to meet a terrible Cleveland team on the road in Week 8.

From TheHuddle

Oct 19 9:20pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson won the battle of the top two fantasy QBs in Week 6, so now he shifts his sights to the new QB2 in Baker Mayfield. Jackson still sits atop the QB ladder in fantasy football while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have given up the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Over the Buccaneers' last three games, the total score between both teams has been 78, 66, and 49. With the Ravens' defense giving up big passing games, this game should turn into a shootout quickly. That means Jackson could have a huge game on the way in Week 7.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 7:30pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson may not have lit up the fantasy scoreboard like he did the past few weeks, but he moved the offense enough for a 30-23 win over the Washington Commanders. The two-time MVP finished the game with 323 yards, one touchdown, and one interception on 20-for-26 throwing while adding 40 yards on the ground with 11 carries. This game marks his second 300-passing-yard game in a row and his fourth in a row with a passer rating of 114 or higher. Jackson and the Ravens will get an extra day of rest as they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night in Week 7.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 5:53pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson went 20-for-26 for 323 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Washington Commanders in Week 6. He also rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Jackson posted his second straight 300-yard game and has seven passing touchdowns in the last three games. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and is must-start option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 4:30pm ET

Ravens' QB Lamar Jackson passed for 323 yards on 20-of-26 with one touchdown in Sunday's win against the Commanders. It was Jackson's 2nd consecutive 300+ yard passing game. He has averaged 336 yards passing in those games.

Oct 11 9:50pm ET

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is set to compete in the second "Battle of the Beltway" in his career. The two-time MVP is on a tremendous streak of QB1-level finishes this season as he's hit that mark in all five games with QB10 being his lowest weekly rank. He's sitting at the overall QB1 on the season so far after a huge performance to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime last week. In the Week 6 matchup with the Washington Commanders, Jackson goes up against the 12th-ranked defense in terms of fantasy points allowed per game to opposing quarterbacks. They allow 18.4 fantasy points per game which shouldn't be a problem for Jackson to surpass. To add even more motivation, Jayden Daniels has drawn plenty of comparisons to Jackson and even sits at QB2 this year. Jackson remains a must-start and should deliver another QB1 type of performance.
