*** Waiver-wire Process ***
The waiver-wire should open on Tuesday mornings. You can submit requests up until it processes at 2pm on Thursdays. If you get swooped the free-for-all opens 4 hours later at 6pm. Just enough time to snake one in before Thursday night kickoff. Free-for-all should last all weekend until kickoff of that game. The deadline for Monday night games has been set at 8pm because most of them start at 8:15.
Year 32, big changes. Our league will now be a single division with a 14 week regular season. Playoffs will start in week 15 with the top two teams getting a bye. The third and sixth place teams will play and the fourth and fifth place teams will play. In week 16 the #1 seed will play the lowest ranked of the two winners of week 15, and the #2 team will play the higher seeded winner of wk 15. In week 17 the two remaining winners will play for the championship. The exact same system will be used for the bottom half of the division but the prize will be the #1 overall pick in the next years draft. The teams that finish 11th and 12th will receive the week 15 bye's in the lower bracket while #7 vs #10 and #8 vs #9. We will still be doing King of the Hill in week 18 for those that choose to play.
If your players have the following injury designations, an X(on NFL IR), U(unable to perform) or C(Covid) means the player is eligible for IR. A Q(questionable), P(probable), O(out) or S(suspended) means your player might or might not play but that player is not eligible for IR designation in the league.

This 10/9/18 update corrects and clarifies rules regarding IR and FA pickups.
MISCELLANEOUS RULES & INFORMATION: Note: refer to Rules under the League tab (or below on this Rules page) for further rules concerning scoring, standings tie-breaks, dues, etc., that are not found here.
FREE AGENCY & LINEUP CHANGES
(1) FA pickups are $2 each. Dues can be paid to Rob VanPatten @tk48917 on Venmo or dropped off in person.
(2) Pickup requests must be entered on the waiver wire, communicated to the commissioner by private message on the league message board or otherwise (by text, e-mail, phone, etc.) before the applicable deadlines
TRADES: Only next year’s draft picks, and for the year following (adopted 2018), are eligible to be traded. Teams involved in conditional trades are themselves responsible for publishing, recording, and enforcing whatever conditions they agree on.
DRAFT: Draft picks go with the team, not with the person. (A) If a new owner takes over a team that has traded away its picks that team does not regain the traded picks or have them restored.
PLAYOFF TIEBREAKER: If the Fantastic Bowl, or any bowl game, ends in a tie there will be a sudden-death comparison of bench players beginning with the top scoring bench player for each team. If the teams' top scoring bench players are also tied, the comparison would proceed to the 2nd top bench scorers; if these are tied proceed to the 3rd best bench scorers; etc.; until the tie is broken.
PROTECTED ROSTER DEADLINE shall be 1 week from the conclusion of the NFL draft (adopted 2009). Protected rosters shall consist of at most 13 players and include a complete starting lineup.
INJURED RESERVE (IR) POLICY (adopted 2012): Teams may retain up to four players on IR: a player can only be on IR in the FFL if he is on IR or PUP in the NFL. When placing a player on IR, you may pick up a replacement player from waivers or free agency. Any player on IR or PUP who is reactivated by his NFL team must likewise be reactivated by his FFL team and will count toward the roster limit. That team will have to make a drop if they are already at the limit. Any player on IR will become active after week 18 has been played. At that time you will need to release as many players as needed so that your roster returns to the limit of 20 players. You may release any player you choose: it does not have to be the player that was added to replace the IR player; and it can be the IR player himself. Players already on IR may not be picked up via Free Agency.
