ROSTER SIZE

Each team will consist of the following:

* We will abide by RTSports for all player categorizations. If a player who is not listed as a QB, for instance, will not be part of the team QB stats even if he lines up at QB. See below - RTSports makes all scoring determinations.

SCORING

Scoring will be as follows:

TD Rushing or Receiving 6 Points (50 or more 12Pnts)
TD Passing 4 Points (50 or more 8 Points)

Rushing and Receiving Yards 1 point for every 15 Yards
Passing Yards 1 point for every 40 yards
Field Goals 3 points (50 or more 6 Points)
Missed Field Goals:
36-40 yds -1 point
31-35 yds -2 points
0-30 yds -3 points

Special Teams TD 6 points

* All Scoring disputes will be settled by RTsports - if you want to protest scoring, you will need to email RTsports and see if they will adjust scoring - the only scoring that will be manually adjusted by the commissioner is for the 5.5 point advantage in the playoffs.



LEAGUE STRUCTURE

There will be one division and each team will be required to play a 8 double header games and 6 single games during the 14-week regular season.

The top eight teams with a .500 or greater record after week 13 advance to the playoffs. Byes will be given to
the teams that advance where no matchup is available in the first playoff round. For instance, if an eighth seed does not advance to the playoffs, the number one seed receives a bye and automatically advances to the semi-finals.

Each round, the teams are re-seeded to where the top remaining seeds will play the lowest remaining seeds.

The top seeds in a given playoff matchup receives a 5 ½ point home field advantage


INJURIES

You are required to manage injuries within your roster through bench players and transactions. 

TRANSACTIONS

Each team will be allotted 100 points to bid for free agents. Each week, transaction bids are due at 12:00am Wednesday morning.

For each player that you are interested in, submit a bid for that player using the points that you
have remaining.

If you win a player, those points will be deducted from your running 100-point total. On Wednesday at 7pm, transactions open up on a first come first serve basis.

Once you have used up your 100 points, those points are gone and you will not be able to participate in the weekly bid period.

You will still, however, be able to pick up players in the first come first serve period.


TRADES

The primary trade deadline is the end of the Monday night game in the eighth week of the season. The secondary
deadline ends at the end of the Monday night game in the tenth week. In the primary trading period, all teams are
involved equally. In the secondary trading period, only teams with winning records can trade with each other. Also,
teams with .500 records or less can trade with each other. A three-member panel to determine that trades do not upset
the balance of the league will review each trade. Only clearly lopsided trades will be over turned.

PLAYOFF TRANSACTIONS

The team an owner brings into week 13 of the season is the team that will be carried throughout the playoffs.
 
After week 13, your team includes all of the backups on all of your AFFL player’s NFL teams, except of course those that are on any week 13 AFFL roster.
 
These backups may only be used in case of injury or in case it is announced that your starter will be rested.
 
You will still be charged the $2 transaction fee if you use an NFL backup.
 
To use a backup, there must be a clear case of injury or resting of the player you are replacing.
 
This rule assumes you are bringing your organic roster into the playoffs. Any moves to manipulate this rule to your advantage will called out by the commissioner.

THE DRAFT

The draft will consist of nineteen rounds.
Most of the order will be determined using a random drawing and will flip flop every round. The teams that finish in the bottom four in the prior year will be allowed to select their slot in the draft where the team in last selects 1st and so - on until the four draft positions have been filled.
Draft picks may be traded with other owners as long as each owner ends up with one pick per round.

KEEPERS

The 2005 keeper rules apply for rosters going into the 2006 season. All players kept, must have been drafted or must
not have been kept by the same team in 2004 and 2005. In 2007, the rule changes to 3 unlimited keepers per team.
Anybody on your roster at the end of the prior season will be keeper eligible. The only exceptions apply to the two
finalists. Those teams can only keep two players in the following year. A team that wins the league two years in a row
can only keep one player in the following year. Each player that is kept will cost the owner the best available draft
pick for the upcoming draft. Thus, a team that keeps three players will not draft until round four. All keepers must
be declared in a blind manner, before the draft order is selected and before the draft order is determined.
