League Overview:
Budwizers is a 12 team league. League play is head to head competition. This league has real time scoring. 8 of 12 teams qualify for the playoffs, the bottom 4 teams play in a scrub bowl, for bragging rights of being a loser. :) Twelve teams is a maximum allowed to play in the league.
Drafts:
The initial draft will be held prior to the first regular season game, up to 7 days prior. 18 rounds are held on first draft.
Order of the draft is predetermined by the draw of the cards at the last gathering of the previous season.
There is no trading during the draft. Trading is permitted after the draft. Please see “Trades”.
League Schedule:
Teams start playing during week 1 of the NFL season. The regular season lasts 13 weeks; the playoffs begin in week 14 and the league Championship is in week 16.
Reports:
Each week, all of the information, such as standings, weekly results, game-by-game breakdown and more, is posted online on the leagues web page.
Starting lineups are posted BEFORE the games start.

Lineups:
The league uses a flex format. Either format may be used from week to week.
LineUp One - 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 Team Defense
LineUP Two - 1 QB, 3 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 Team Defense
Owners can set starting players up until the first game time on Sunday at 12:00 noon. Once a game has started all starting lineups are frozen. For games that are played other than on Thursday, the owner is only required to enter the player(s) that play in that given game.
Trades
Trades can be made between owners at a cost of $2.00 per player, both owners will pay. There is no limit to the number of players a team can trade in a given week. Once approved by Commissioner, the trade will be official. As the trade is approved, the team(s) rosters will automatically be updated and a transaction record will be listed. Trades must be completed and confirmed by both sides before 5 pm Saturday each week.
Players acquired are available immediately for use in the lineup the week they are picked up. A player cannot be traded back to a team until 2 games have passed. This is to avoid collusion.
If a trade is one-sided or collusion between owners is suspected, the trade will not be allowed.
All transactions are final.
Playoffs:
Playoffs will be conducted in weeks 15 through 17 of the regular season.
Top 8 teams , will play in the playoffs. The top 8 teams are based on the value points or victory points that are awarded through out the season.
The remaining 4 teams will play in weeks 15 and 16 for the bragging rights of the losers.
Again the seeding is based on the victory points system. Victory points: 2 points are awarded for a win - Each week top 1/3 of teams get an extra 2 points; middle 1/3 get 1 extra point; bottom 1/3 none.
The seeding for the scrub bowl will be the same as other 8 teams.
The Victory points are only used for the purpose of seeding the playoffs. The total points is still the official score used for figuring draft spots, and overall league winner.
During the playoffs if a tie occurs, the tie breaker will be one-half of combined totals of owners’ backup players, less the defenses. If a tie still remains the last defense played will be added back into the total.
As of 2008 the Budwizer league all IR rules have been eliminated. An owner will play with what they have on a weekly basis.
If an owner starts a player and at game time that player is declared out (benched for whatever reason) no adjustments will be made. Owner will just play short a player that week.
Supplemental Drafts:
Held week 6, 11 and one week before the wildcard playoffs.
