ATLFL OWNERS RULES
KARMA RULE:
Should a situation arise wherein a player is NOT in the system secondary to a COVID issue or a practice squad person is being elevated. Your intention to acquire such player and your corresponding drop should be placed in an email and on the message board explaining your intentions to all. If the player DOES NOT become available then the transaction will be canceled (IE you keep your dropped player). If the player DOES become available the acquisition will be completed by the commissioners and YOU will be responsible for putting in your lineup or as usual contacting the commissioners to have them help you make the change PRIOR to game time.
As an addition, if any other situations arise wherein a problem with player acquisition, player activation, drop-adds, or COVID related issues become apparent that a question may arise please email the commisioner(s) with your intentions and your issues so that a time stamped record will be in place, minimizing any collusion or clarity issues.
Article I - Franchise Fee
The franchise fee will be $150.00 per team with a maximum of 12 teams. The franchise fee will be put in the league fund and must be paid by draft date to secure a team in the league. No refunds of franchise fees after the draft. Note: team with more than one owner may have to name a captain. The $150.00 franchise fee covers all transactions (Cuts, I/R's, and Trades)
Article II - The Draft

The team with the first pick in round one will draft last in round two. Any new teams will be added to the order of draft in round one decided by luck of the draw. A two-minute time limit will be enforced for each pick. If the time limit expires prior to a selection being made, the team will lose their turn. The pick can be made up after the next draft selection. Each team will draft sixteen players.

Teams will be aloud to keep one (1) player for next years team. No player picked in the first two rounds (round 1 and round 2) can be kept as a keeper. Example of how the keeper player works. A team drafted a RB in round 12. The team wants to keep the player the following year that player will be his 12th round draft pick. If a team wants to keep a player picked up off weavers that player will be his 16th round draft pick the following year. Teams are not required to keep a player the following year, For a team to keep a player the next year the player must be picked in the draft rounds 3-16 or picked up on waivers and be on the active roster as of week 12 and on their final active roster. I/R is NOT part of the active roster. No team will be aloud to cut a player and pick the same player back up in order to keep a player for the following year as their 16th pick. Any player drafted after the 2nd round will hold his draft position. Players kept will only be aloud to be kept for one (1) year. The kept player will be announced draft day or prior to the draft if an owner can't attend. If a player that was drafted after the 2nd round cut and picked up by another team the player will hold their draft position if kept the next year.
