ESPN's Dan Graziano writes that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who won the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player award, could be looking for a new contract in the near future. He's scheduled to average around $32 million per year over the four remaining years on his current deal and just made $14.5 million this past season. The problem for Allen is that with four years still left on his current contract, the Bills are unlikely to be in any kind of rush to extend him. However, Graziano suggests the Bills could find some ways to adjust Allen's deal to bring him more in line with the QB market, much like the Kansas City Chiefs have done with superstar QB Patrick Mahomes since he signed his big deal in 2020. Despite falling short of the 4,000-yard passing mark for the first time since 2019, Allen threw 28 touchdowns and a career-low six picks and has 27 rushing TDs the last two years to finish as a top-five fantasy QB.

Pittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent quarterback Russell Wilson has been connected to the New York Giants by a few people during Super Bowl week, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Wilson visited with the Giants in free agency last year before joining the Steelers, and the Giants could be on his radar once again in 2025. Ex-Steelers players told Fowler this week that some people in Pittsburgh's building prefer Justin Fields (also a free agent) over Wilson due to his age and mobility. NFL executives believe Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp will have a solid trade market this offseason because he's quarterback-friendly, makes contested catches and is an extremely hard worker. There are questions about the 31-year-old's lower-body injuries, but he did manage 67 receptions for 710 yards and six touchdowns while missing five games in 2024. The Rams might have to eat some of the $20 million Kupp is due in 2025 to facilitate a trade, but ESPN's Jeremy Fowler mentions the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders and Kansas City Chiefs as a few teams that could be interested. An AFC executive said the Pats would be "foolish" not to look at Kupp, while the Steelers were already interested in Kupp at last year's trade deadline. All but $5 million of his $20 million salary in 2025 is guaranteed in the form of a roster bonus.

ESPN's Dan Graziano has talked with multiple people who believe that the Tennessee Titans could trade out of the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft and look for their next quarterback elsewhere. It could mean that the Titans give former second-rounder Will Levis another shot in 2025, or they could add a free-agent option such as Sam Darnold or Justin Fields. If the Titans aren't absolutely sold on one of the top QBs in this year's class, they could be better off seeing what other teams will offer while focusing on other extensive needs on their roster first. And if they trade back to somewhere between picks No. 2-7, they could still land a cornerstone player and be in a position to address their QB need in next year's draft. If the Titans don't trade out of the No. 1 spot, most folks believe they will be taking either Miami QB Cam Ward or Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is expected to return for another season in 2025, but ESPN's Dan Graziano writes that the Rams will likely need to restructure Stafford's contract again. His current salary cap hit for 2025 is around $50 million, so the Rams will likely convert his salary into bonuses again to lower the cap hit and move Stafford's 2025 compensation into the range of a good starting QB. Although Stafford is now 37 and strictly a pocket passer, he ranked 12th in QBR (64.7) in 2024 and can still pick apart defenses with his strong arm. From all accounts, he appeared to be happy with the direction of the team, and multiple sources with the team don't believe drastic changes are coming this offseason. If the Rams do entertain trading Stafford, he'll be one of the most coveted signal-callers available.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler writes that New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams is intrigued by a potential return to the West Coast and would be open to joining the Los Angeles Chargers or Los Angeles Rams if he gets released this offseason. Beatty spent just one season with Chicago, initially hired as the team's wide receiver coach before garnering the title of interim offensive coordinator upon the firing of head coach Matt Eberflus.
