Regarding the first round of a redraft...last comment. It is not full of player 26 level players. You cannot compare Jazz to a 26th player. Every year we have new talent entering the league through the redraft. Perfect example: Maybe two years ago or three, I bought a bad team to rebuild. I drafted Langford, Caminero and Merrill in the first round. The sad part is I could have drafted Skenes with 1.2 but the team badly needed offense. 1.1 was Yamamoto. Merrill was someone's cut and kicked ass his first year. I'd take Skenes, Yamamoto or Caminero over Jazz every time.
That is my last public message on this issue. Good luck everyone.
Nate,
You wrote that the picks F the D got would allow him to draft be other people's cuts. I gave you good examples of solid players I like and where they were drafted in a redraft this year to show there is plenty of significant value out there. If F the D drafts well, he can pick up three solid players for Jazz.
Last year, you and probably others would have made the same complaint if you replaced Tatis for Chisholm. Or even Gunner Henderson who has been struggling for a season and a half now by his standards. There are many examples, whether due to injury or poor performance. Jazz happens to have injury history almost every year. Look at Guerrero the past season and a half. He is supposed to be a superstar offensive performer who is not in the top overall hitter class he should be in terms of production. Maybe he will hit 25HR in the second half...or maybe just another 4. None of us know.
Good luck to you. Know that I respect your opinion but just don't agree it is a slam dunk bad trade. I've made good arguments. If you want more dialogue, let's do it in a private message at this point. I love a good debate about fantasy baseball.
Thh wrote: You crack me up. Please trade me your second and third round draft picks for two of my cut level garbage players. Back up your viewpoint.
F the D is getting three players for one. Sum of parts. What is the point of having Jazz and never fielding a winning team? Miguel Vargas (5th round) is leading Jazz in 4 of 5 categories. I targeted him and Muncy for the first 5 rounds of the redraft in the example I gave. Maybe some luck there and maybe not. I have lots of Vargas on my teams.... and many others
When did I ever say I'd trade a 2nd and 3rd round for garbage players? I said trading a 2nd and 3rd round for Jazz is crazy. I'd gladly trade you my 2nd and 3rd for someone of Jazz's level. You willing to do that? I didn't think so bud.
Thh wrote:OK Nate and others. I'll do this once...maybe twice when I have time. I happen to be very successful winning money in these dynasty leagues, despite how this particular team is doing, thus the 18 teams I have and learning the hard way that I cannot handle so many (doubled in the last two years with winnings only). A good redraft is a big part of success. Here are examples from a league I won last year for this year's redraft. 12 team $125. Read the list...enough said (written 😊).
This doesn't include some very good young rookie major leaguers or MLB ready players many of us would like in our own pipeline. Exception is Kade Anderson close to MLB, is fresh out of college and looks like he may be the best pitching prospect since Skenes.
First round omitted. ***Also, with those 2nd round picks, F the D can likely trade up into the first round with 2nd round picks to spare if he tries. 1st round always has good options. Best examples:
2.2 Early
2.4 K Anderson
2.8 Muncy
2.10 Dominguez (12 saves)
4.1 B Ashcraft
4.3 May
5.10 C Walker
5.11 M Vargas (I’ve been happy to pick him up this late in several redrafts) 😊
6.4 Soriano (Ridiculous first two months)
6.7 Melton
8.4 Messick
8.11 Detmers
9.3 Jung
9.11 Harrison
...and more
You're only proving my point bud. Not a single player there is anywhere close to Chisholm. And u still have to get lucky to even get one of them.

The league does not monitor trades. The only way to get one reversed is to message the commish. This is a really bad start to our dynasty league guys.
Thh wrote: I know there will be plenty of good players released back into the redraft to be selected in the early rounds because we only have three bench slots for keepers. Check out the best rosters and injured players who will return next year or under performing players like Vinnie P..... there will be plenty of talent available. Do you want one of my weak players for your 2nd round pick? I'm in....
We keep 3 benches so you're talking someone's 4th bench spot or worse for jazz chisholm lol. Tell me how thats anywhere close to the same value? Please explain it to me bud.
Thh wrote: Looks like he is getting strength in numbers for next year. What good is having Jazz on a losing roster? He will get 3 solid players with those picks. I agree that he could have gotten more, but it isn't an egregious mistake that warrants a reversal. Just food for thought...
Jazz is only 28 he's not an old veteran u trade for picks. 2027 2nds will be someone's drops lol.
I'm messaging the commish for a reversal. Jazz was a 2nd round startup pick. A 2nd in 2027 is equivalent to a round 25 startup pick. That's not close at all.
Jazz having a bad season and on pace for 25/45
Wild if this trade is allowed

I don’t think the trade should be reversed. That should happen only in egregious situations or when collusion is involved. I think Wood should fetch more than Bubic, but everyone’s opinion is different. I don’t fault any owner hitting the accept button getting Wood. I also wish I would’ve trusted my gut and ranked Bubic higher this year and I didn’t, so there’s that, too.
Yeah a round 3 pick for round 16 lol. There's definitely something going on in this league. There's been a lot of crazy stuff already. Unfortunately RTS lets a lot of shit happen, it's really not the best site for fantasy. Next year I'll be exploring some other options for sure.
Wow, the best was yet to come, indeed.

Looking to trade Shaw. Dont think he fits my build this year.
Dude wants to control the draft on his terms, I can try and control the outcome on mine. Ain’t about class, it’s about karma. What goes around, comes around
Nate, because I think you are the ultimate dooche bag, just know, if I’m I. 3rd, 4th, 5th, even dead last and you are in 1st or 2nd, I will completely sell off my team just so don’t win. Then I will simply put my team up for sale because I am already dreading next years redraft with you.
