I have turned off the live draft date on the Webpage due to an internal RTS change that affects the ability to trade 2026 draft picks when the draft order is not set.  Since Crystal Brain has until Friday to make his selection of preferred draft spot I cannot set the draft order now to accommodate the website requirement.

The draft will still be held Sunday at 5:00pm PST August 30th.  I am turning off the live draft until Crystal Brain makes his draft position selection though he is more than free to make it earlier.  If the pick is made earlier I will turn the live draft back on and set the draft order.  Until then you now have the capability to make trade proposals that include 2026 draft picks in the system.

I am offering any team to come to my home in Newbury Park to draft live in person.  All are welcome.  If you plan on attending please send me a text so I can provide more details.  If you are in the 17 team eliminator league, There Can Only Be One, that Sir Brock a Lot runs I will also be hosting that event earlier in the day so plan on a doubleheader.

League Owners,

As we get ready for the 2026 Elite FFL Draft, here are a few important updates and reminders.

League Fees

The RTSports league website has been renewed for the 2026 season.

Please log into the league website, click on the Treasurer tab, and submit your $150 league dues.

A few owners have already made their payments—thank you! Your prompt payment is appreciated and helps keep everything running smoothly.

Important Dates

Date	Event
August 14 – 9:00 PM PST	Rosters must be reduced to 4 players or fewer. If your roster is not compliant by the deadline, Paul and I will make the necessary reductions.
August 22 – 9:00 PM PST	Deadline for Crystal Brain to select his draft position.
August 30 – 5:00 PM PST	2026 Elite FFL Draft. The draft will be held online. For anyone local—or anyone who wants to make the trip—I will also be hosting the draft at my home.  All are welcome and more details to follow...

2026 Rule Updates

I've completed the annual review of the league rules and made several minor updates, including:

• Updated names and dates.
• Removed outdated waiver language.
• General housekeeping and clarification throughout the document.

I also added two new sections to provide additional clarity around trades:

• Section 6.3.1
• Section 6.3.2

Please take a few minutes to review these changes. If you have any suggestions or proposed edits, I'd be happy to discuss them and incorporate any improvements before we finalize the rules for the 2026 season.

Rule Change Proposals

No league polls have been submitted, so I'm assuming there are currently no proposed rule changes for 2026.

If you would like to propose a rule change, please post it as soon as possible so league owners have adequate time to review and vote before the draft.
