The Philadelphia Eagles are re-signing tight end Grant Calcaterra to a one-year deal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. Philadelphia entered this offseason with its top three tight ends all slated to hit unrestricted free agency. While Dallas Goedert and Kylen Granson remain unsigned, Philadelphia at least brought back one key player at the position in Calcaterra. They also made an external move, signing ex-Jaguars blocking tight end Johnny Mundt. There's still plenty of offseason remaining for Philadelphia to strengthen the position group, and we can't rule out a Goedert return. As it stands at this very second, though, Calcaterra projects as the Eagles' No. 1 tight end. The 27-year-old might not be ready to make that jump after he caught just nine passes for 76 yards and a touchdown in 2025. On a more positive note, he did have 24 catches, 298 yards, and one touchdown back in 2024. He fits best as a backup tight end who can make an occasional spot start here or there, so we wouldn't be surprised to see the Eagles bring back Goedert or pursue a different No. 1 tight end via free agency, trade, or the NFL Draft.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and defensive tackle Cameron Heyward have agreed to a new two-year contract worth $32.25 million, according to Mike DeFabo of The Athletic. The deal guarantees Heyward's 2026 salary and keeps him under contract with the team through 2027. He'll now enter the 2026 season without the stress of marketing himself for a new contract, and given that Heyward is 37 years old, it's possible that this deal will take him through the end of his NFL career. The lifetime Steeler has spent all 15 of his NFL seasons in Pittsburgh. Most recently in 2025, he made 17 starts with one forced fumble, 3.5 sacks, nine quarterback hits, and 78 tackles. He provides the Steelers with defensive line continuity alongside pass-rushing star T.J. Watt.

The New Orleans Saints have signed linebacker Kaden Elliss to a three-year, $33 million deal that includes $23 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. The contract has a maximum potential value of nearly $39 million. Rapoport describes Elliss as a new "lynchpin" within New Orleans' defense, as he'll take on a key role in the defensive rotation after a successful stint in Atlanta. He started all 51 games over three years with the Falcons, amassing 3.5 sacks, 10 quarterback hits, 107 tackles, and one interception in 2025. While Elliss is switching teams in the NFC South, this isn't exactly a new home for him. He spent his first four NFL seasons with the Saints, ascending into an 11-game starter during his contract year in 2022.

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing free agent cornerback Riq Woolen to a one-year deal worth up to $15 million, according to Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com. Woolen spent his first four NFL seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, earning Pro Bowl honors as a rookie in 2022 and winning a Super Bowl during a contract year in 2025. Across 16 games (seven starts) this past season, he registered 41 tackles, 12 passes defended, and one interception. He has certainly taken a step back since his six-interception campaign in 2022, but the Eagles are hopeful that he can return to his early-career form and make a big impact in their secondary. He should fill a prominent role within a cornerback rotation that also features Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed tight end Johnny Mundt to a one-year deal, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Mundt is primarily known for his blocking, as he caught just nine passes and scored zero touchdowns across 16 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2025. Released by the Jaguars last week, Mundt possesses nine years of NFL experience with stops in Los Angeles (Rams), Minnesota, and Jacksonville. He'll offer much-needed depth for the Eagles, who entered this offseason with their top three tight ends slated for free agency. Philadelphia already re-signed Grant Calcaterra, but Dallas Goedert and Kylen Granson are still unrestricted free agents. If neither Goedert nor Granson returns, Mundt would slot in as the team's No. 2 tight end, at least for the time being. Even so, his proficiency as a blocker limits his receiving upside and keeps him off the fantasy radar in most leagues.

The New York Giants have signed free agent fullback Patrick Ricard, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Ricard is the latest ex-Ravens player to follow head coach John Harbaugh from Baltimore to New York. The 31-year-old University of Maine product spent his first nine NFL seasons with the Ravens, and he was named a Pro Bowler in six of the last seven years. Most of his contributions came as a blocker for Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry in 2025, but he did hold the football from time to time with two touches and 11 total scrimmage yards. He also has a little bit of experience on the defensive line, but he hasn't registered a tackle since 2022, so it's safe to say that most of his value comes in blocking assignments on offense. We already know he fits Harbaugh's scheme nicely, and now, we'll get to see what he can do in an up-and-coming offense anchored by young quarterback Jaxson Dart and physical running back Cam Skattebo (ankle).

The Las Vegas Raiders announced on Tuesday that the Baltimore Ravens "have backed out of our trade agreement" for All-Pro pass-rusher Maxx Crosby (knee), according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. The Ravens agreed last Friday to send a first-rounder in 2026 and a first-round draft pick in 2027 to the Raiders for Crosby. Apparently, the Ravens saw something in the 28-year-old's medicals that they didn't like. Remember, the Raiders shut Crosby down (against his wishes) for the final two games of the 2025 season, and he eventually had meniscus surgery in January. It's very possible that Crosby still isn't fully healed, and the Ravens got spooked. For now, Crosby, who remains under contract in Vegas, will return to the Raiders. It's unclear if they will attempt to trade him to another team or if Crosby's price will go down after the failed trade attempt with Baltimore.

The Green Bay Packers signed former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver/returner Skyy Moore to an undisclosed one-year deal on Tuesday, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Moore averaged 27.5 yards per kick return and 11.6 yards per punt return last year with San Francisco. On offense, the 25-year-old former second-round pick (54th overall) by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022 out of Western Michigan only caught five of seven targets for 87 yards in 17 regular-season games. Moore didn't do a ton in his first three years with the Chiefs on offense, either, contributing just 43 receptions on 74 targets for 494 yards and one touchdown in 36 games (11 starts). More than anything else, Moore will give the Packers a boost on special teams as a return man. In fantasy football, however, he should continue to be ignored across the board.

Veteran free-agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is signing an undisclosed deal with the Detroit Lions on Tuesday, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Bridgewater will return to Motown after serving as Jared Goff's backup in 2023 and 2024. The 33-year-old 11-year NFL veteran hasn't started a game since 2022 with the Miami Dolphins and has gone 8-for-15 passing for 62 yards in five appearances over the last three seasons. Bridgewater was the backup to Baker Mayfield with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2025. The former first-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2014 out of Louisville has plenty of experience in the league, but the Lions' offense will have very limited upside if Goff gets injured and Bridgewater is forced into a starting role. He's completed 66.3% of his 2,082 pass attempts in his career since entering the league in 2014.

Former Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders signed an undisclosed one-year deal with the New York Giants on Tuesday, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN. Sanders missed all of the 2025 season due to a hip injury and was released by Miami. The 30-year-old veteran will now head to the NFC East, where he could quickly become a valuable kicker in fantasy if he's fully healthy in a Giants offense with all kinds of explosive weapons. Sanders has made 84.6% of his 221 career field-goal attempts (33-for-48 from 50-plus yards) in his seven years in the NFL. The former seventh-round pick in 2018 out of New Mexico went 37-for-41 on field goals (12-for-14 from 50-plus yards) and 26-for-28 on extra-point attempts in 17 games in his last healthy season in 2024. Sanders will be firmly in sleeper territory at the kicking position if he wins the Giants' placekicker job.

If the Arizona Cardinals plan to start veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett again in 2026, they "have yet to make him aware of those plans," according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN. The Cardinals have not told Brissett that he will be their starting QB in 2026, according to a source. He is still under contract for this year and is scheduled to make $4.88 million. Arizona has moved on from former first overall pick Kyler Murray (foot), and they signed veteran Gardner Minshew to a one-year deal on Monday, but Brissett is expected to remain under center after impressing in 2025. The 33-year-old became an unlikely QB streamer in fantasy football after taking over the Cardinals offense in Week 6, ultimately finishing with a career-best 3,366 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 14 games (12 starts). New head coach Mike LaFleur will likely make the Cardinals offense more balanced in 2026, though, making it more unlikely that Brissett will have the kind of upside he had in 2025.

Dynasty | The Lions have signed running back Isiah Pacheco. Dynasty Analysis: Pacheco lands in a good spot in theory as the Lions have one of the best offensive lines and rushing attacks in football. However, he has little to no chance of carving out the role left by a more talented David Montgomery who was traded to Houston last week. In reality, he should be a solid backup to Jahmyr Gibbs but no real threat to his workload. This is likely bigger news for Gibbs than Pacheco, whose dynasty value is now hanging by a thread as a mere handcuff.

Dynasty | The Patriots have signed wide receiver Romeo Doubs. Dynasty Analysis: After four decent seasons in Green Bay, Doubs will find himself in a position much more desirable at the moment as the Patriots receiver room currently consists of Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, Kyle Williams, DeMario Douglas, and Efton Chism. With Stefon Diggs out of the picture, this looks like a pretty good spot for Doubs, who should have a chance to possibly set some career highs should New England fail to make more moves at the position,

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.'s name has been floated around this offseason as a possibility of being traded after his down year in 2025, but the Jaguars don't seem to be interested in dealing him. "I've been told that the Jaguars aren't interested in trading Brian Thomas. His name continues to be floated out there, but the Jaguars have no interest in moving on from him," ESPN's Adam Schefter said on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday. There was some speculation that the New York Jets had interest in acquiring the 23-year-old former 23rd overall pick from LSU. A move to New York would be really bad news for Thomas' fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues. Thomas was a Pro Bowler in 2024, catching a whopping 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns in 17 games, but he had a disappointing 48-707-2 line in 2025 in Year 2. Staying in Jacksonville might not be the worst thing for Thomas, but his fantasy ceiling will certainly be limited with Meyers in the picture and Parker Washington also looking for a bigger role.

The New York Jets signed former Chicago Bears Pro Bowl cornerback Nahshon Wright to a one-year deal worth up to $5.5 million on Tuesday, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Wright will head to Gang Green to try to help their secondary after having a monster 2025 campaign with the Bears. The 27-year-old former third-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2021 out of Oregon State had by far the best season of his career, tallying 80 tackles (54 solo), a career-high five interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 11 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 17 regular-season games played. Wright should be a starter on the outside for the Jets in his first year with the team under head coach Aaron Glenn. In his first four NFL seasons with Dallas and Minnesota (one year), Wright only had 37 tackles (27 solo), one interception, and five pass breakups. He came out of nowhere to finish as the No. 3 defensive back in fantasy points in IDP leagues.

Updating a previous report, the New England Patriots' free-agent signing of wide receiver Romeo Doubs on Tuesday "does not end their interest in trading" for Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown, according to the NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe. The Patriots aren't in as much of a rush now for a pass-catcher, and it might mean they don't end up acquiring him because of the Eagles' high asking price, but Wolfe says that they "still love" Brown. The Patriots signed Doubs to a four-year, $80 million contract, but they might not be fully sold on his ability to replace veteran Stefon Diggs as the WR1 for quarterback Drake Maye in 2026. The problem is that Philly doesn't have to trade Brown, and they certainly aren't going to give out a discount for a 28-year-old who has six 1,000-yard seasons in his seven years in the league. The three-time Pro Bowler would certainly have a more optimistic fantasy outlook if he were to join New England after he had a career-low 12.9 yards per catch in 2025.

The NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe reports that when Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. (knee) recovers from his torn ACL, it will be an "open competition" at QB between Penix and Tua Tagovailoa. Both signal-callers have struggled to stay healthy -- Penix with three torn ACLs and Tagovailoa with multiple serious concussions -- but Tagovailoa has more experience and a Pro Bowl nod under his belt in his six years in the NFL. The former fifth overall pick out of Alabama led the league in passing yards in 2023, but has struggled the last two seasons and has failed to top the 3,000-yard mark. It's low risk for the Falcons since Tagovailoa will be on a veteran's minimum in 2026, and it gives the team a chance to push Penix once he's healthy and ready to go. The problem for Penix is that if he's not physically ready to play to begin the season and Tagovailoa looks good as the starter, he might not have a chance to win the job back. It will be an interesting battle to watch later this summer in an offense with plenty of weapons now being run by a bright offensive mind in Kevin Stefanski.

The Kansas City Chiefs re-signed wide receiver Tyquan Thornton to a two-year, $11 million deal on Monday night, and ESPN's Nate Taylor thinks the Chiefs "should be able to offer him more snaps and more opportunities." The 25-year-old was one of KC's best receivers in 2025, especially early on when both Xavier Worthy (shoulder) and Rashee Rice (suspension) were out. Thornton had a career-high 438 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 19 catches in his first year working with quarterback Patrick Mahomes. "He's the GOAT in my eyes, man," Thornton said of Mahomes. "He's a competitor, and he makes me so much better. It was an honor to go out there and catch those passes from him." As things currently stand, Thornton looks like the WR3 behind Rice and Worthy. His big-play potential is intriguing, though, as a late-round flier in what should be an improved Chiefs offense.

ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques writes that Miami Dolphins tight end Greg Dulcich "should figure heavily" in the team's passing game in 2026 under new head coach Jeff Hafley. Dulcich didn't make his debut for the Dolphins last year until October, but he managed to be one of the club's bright spots, catching 26 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown on 33 targets in 10 games (three starts). Believe it or not, he was Miami's third-leading receiver. He also quietly led all tight ends in average yards after the catch (7.6) and yards per target (10.2) while finishing third in yards per catch (12.9). Quarterback Malik Davis will be running the Dolphins' offense going forward, giving Dulcich some real deep sleeper potential at the TE position going into the 2026 season if they don't re-sign veteran Darren Waller. Injuries have slowed the former third-rounder by the Broncos in 2022, as he's yet to play over 10 games in a season in his four years.
