Reminder: Please Flag Inactive Players

Hey everyone — please help protect the integrity of the league by letting me know promptly if you notice someone has a clearly inactive player in their starting lineup, while there’s still time to address it.

I understand that speaking up could help the team you’re playing against. Still, keeping everyone’s lineup active is a shared responsibility. This is especially important when you’re checking the roster of the team you’re facing that week.

Recent Charlie–Wayne Trade

Hey guys — several of you have reached out to me about the recent Charlie–Wayne trade. I’m not someone who likes reversing trades, and I know managers can view players differently. We also don’t want to police every decision people make.

That said, this trade looks extremely one-sided to me, and Charlie’s recent lineup neglect—combined with Wayne having brought him into the league—has added to people’s concerns. I’ve contacted Charlie and Wayne directly and asked them to reconsider the deal or see if they can restructure it.

Here’s the message I sent them:

Several league mates have contacted me because they think this trade is extremely one-sided. I’m not accusing either of you of anything, but I understand why it raises concern—especially with Charlie’s recent lineup neglect and the fact that you brought him into the league.

I’m usually reluctant to reverse trades, and I respect that managers can value players differently. But this deal looks very unfair to Charlie. I’m asking you both to reconsider it or see if you can restructure it. I’d rather resolve this between you, but I also have to consider the effect on the league.

I’ll update everyone once I hear back. I want to handle this fairly and give both managers a chance to respond before deciding what, if anything, happens next.

Reminder from Last Year:

Hey guys — just a heads-up: I’m going to repost our team maintenance rule from last year and remind everyone that it will be in effect starting this upcoming week.

I noticed that Charlie had Jayden Daniels, Rico Dowdle, and Dallas Goedert in his active lineup after they had been ruled out ahead of their games. Since the original rule was posted on last year’s message board, Charlie may not have seen it, so I’m letting him know directly as well. I’ll share the full reminder shortly so the expectations are clear for everyone going forward.

Team Maintenance & Integrity Policy

Hey everyone —

This is an important message to all owners.

In some past leagues, we’ve had situations where owners abandoned their teams midseason — leaving players on bye weeks or ruled out due to injury sitting in their active lineups. That won’t fly here.

Effective immediately, if any team clearly neglects their lineup — even for one week — that owner will not be invited back next season.

We expect every owner to field a full, active lineup each week to maintain the integrity and competitiveness of our league.

Of course, we understand that last-minute inactives or surprise injuries can happen on game day. Life gets busy, and we’ll be lenient when it’s clear that a situation was unavoidable.

But when a player is ruled out days in advance or sitting on a bye, that’s considered clear neglect — and it will not be tolerated.
