I apologize if my tone comes off wrong. My defenses go up when people baselessly accuse our customers and us of cheating, collusion, and cover-ups. I do fully understand anyone who is uncomfortable with the entire situation. But I will say from another team in this league's perspective this entire situation is exactly the same as when an owner misses their draft and never shows up to manage their team the entire season. That happens in dozens and dozens of leagues every year and there's rarely anyone unhappy about it.

As for abandoned teams, below is from the rules. There's no add/drops, just start/sit. It's not doing much and it won't be super-competitive, but it's something better than taking zeros due to injuries and byes. 
In the interest of competition, between 12:01am ET and 6:00am ET on each NFL game day of the fantasy league's regular season, the system will automatically replace any starter with a bye or that has an injury status of "Out", or equivalent (on I/R, suspended, military leave, etc.) on a roster with a bench player from that same roster. At the same time, the system will automatically fill in any missing starters from a team's lineup, if possible. On Sundays and Mondays, the system will only adjust lineups that have not been set by a team owner during the current week. On days prior to Sunday, the system will only adjust lineups that have not been set by a team owner during the current or previous week.

This whole situation stinks and borderline illegal for a cash generating league. No way is the internal system going to manage a team fairly. Not sure it can even handle add/drops on bye weeks to fill a lineup. People do have time invested and not to say the least, the season starts today. There isn't reasonable drafts to move to or redraft at this stage of the game. RTSports want to make some sort of retribution, refund everyone's money, keep the league intact with unmanaged teams you configure and payout the scheduled amounts for those that play along for the fun it. That is a small monetary price in the big picture of your financial world. If additional managers don't actively participate, that's there right to move on.

As I stated previously... "If nobody notices and reports it to us, it gets auto-drafted."
That's what happened, then we heard about it after the fact. So there's no cheating, no collusion, there's no cover-up, no offering you a quiet refund to make you go away. We'd prefer to keep the league intact for all the owners that spent time drafting teams, but we offer a refund to anyone that's not satisfied with our service. If you feel this all puts you at a competitive disadvantage, take your refund. If you want to continue on in this league against a team that will have trouble competing and improves your chances of winning, do that.
