While last week turned out to be a scoring explosion and statistical bonanza, we managed to pick right around all the good stuff to sit with some of the worst beats possible. And by we I mean me. I'd apologize for the losing picks, but that's the nature of things sometimes, amirite? Chase Brown missed by a half-yard on our Pick of the Week. A half-yard! You know I was screaming at my TV every step of the way. DeVonta Smith also kicked us in the huevos rancheros with multiple drops, one of which would have easily helped us clear the 13 yards we still needed and then Ja'Kobi Lane fractured his wrist. We hit with the Jahmyr Gibbs TD, but we only played that to enhance our payout. It was a total layup. The rest? Yeesh. What's a girl to do?
I'll tell you what we do – we dust ourselves off and get right back on that horse. We load up new DFS Pickem contests and start making better picks this week. And by better, I mean winning. Our process is great. We just gotta get a couple to break right for us. Let's get to it!
If you happen to be new to the DFS Pickem format, allow me to help you along because it's really quite easy. All you do is make your picks for players to produce more or less than their designated stat-line and if you are right, you can earn up to 40 times your wager (minimum wager of $1). Pick correctly for two players and you will 3x your money. Three correct picks will get you a 6x return, four is 10x and so on, up to 40x for six correct picks. You should give a look at the full contest rules, but that's the gist of it for how to play.
One last thing – be sure to always take advantage of the promos our friends at RT Sports are offering. Sometimes, there will be "gimme picks" which would be something like Patrick Mahomes more than 0.5 passing yards. It's just another kind way to help you boost your profits and build that bankroll faster without having to take too many chances. It's tough enough to build a winning parlay, so take the help when they provide it.
Pick of the Week:
Saquon Barkley, RB PHI -- MORE than 94.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
We just watched Breece Hall light up the Titans defense for 118 all-purpose yards and a score and he was only targeted in the passing game twice. Barkley plays a much bigger role in his respective offense and he also doesn't have to worry about sharing the workload like Hall does with Braelon Allen who clipped 10 carries from him this past week. I expect the Eagles to attack the Titans with Barkley early and often and then use that to open up Jalen Hurts and the passing game. Should be a fun game to watch if you're an Eagles fan or roster Barkley in fantasy.

Dynasty | Tampa Bay rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels completed 19-of-27 passes for 148 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions while adding 55 rushing yards in a loss to the Packers. Dynasty Analysis: As expected, there were some bright spots for Daniels and a few nightmarish plays as well. He can clearly run and looks like a great athlete but his accuracy and decision making are just not up to par with an NFL starting-level quarterback. He'll be able to have a little bit of a runway here to get better, so he remains a fun hold in dynasty leagues.
Dynasty | Bucs wide receiver Emeka Egbuka had two catches for 13 yards in the Bucs loss to the Packers. Dynasty Analysis: Egbuka is a real talent, yet now only has 15 catches for 154 yards and one touchdown through four games this season. For a player who looked so promising early on last season, this is getting to be a real concern, despite the quarterback play in Tampa Bay. At this point, the window to buy low on Egbuka seems to be wide open if you remain a believer in his talent and situation.
Dynasty | Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb caught a whopping 17 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown in a win against Houston. Dynasty Analysis: Lamb was a one-man wrecking crew with a massive 21 targets on the day. He came into the day with 20 catches through three games and nearly doubled it in one afternoon. This was a weekly fantasy MVP performance by Lamb, who reminded everyone he's as good as anyone in the league when things go his way. He'll remain an elite-level WR1 moving forward each and every week.
Dynasty | Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 22-of-37 passes for 269 yards, added 54 rushing yards and had three touchdowns and one interception in a win against Buffalo. Dynasty Analysis: Nobody needed a solid fantasy performance more on the day than Maye, who finally looked like the player most fantasy managers thought they had at the beginning of the season. He found multiple receivers throughout the contest and finally made a few plays with his legs as well. This could be the start of something good for Maye, who led the team to an upset win. His confidence should be back as things move forward and his ADP freefall should stop this week.
Dynasty | Texans receiver Nico Collins had seven catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Dallas. Dynasty Analysis: The Texans are 0-4 but you can't blame Collins, who found multiple ways to get open today, en route to his best game of the season. With CJ Stroud playing better and piling up some big numbers, Collins should be able to post multiple WR1 days like this moving forward. The opportunity to buy low on him has likely closed as today reminded everyone he has WR1 ability.
Dynasty | Cowboys running back Javonte Williams had 62 rushing yards, five catches, 21 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a win over Houston. Dynasty Analysis: Williams didn't put up gaudy rushing or receiving stats but he found himself in a ton of "goal-to-go" situations on the day and cashed in. While there are clearly other more talented running backs in the league, Dallas does certainly do a good job in putting him in position to score touchdowns, so dynasty managers won't complain. Williams will be on the RB1/2 line moving forward.
Dynasty | Texans running back David Montgomery had 24 rushing yards, no catches and 19 receiving yards in a loss to Dallas. Dynasty Analysis: Remember when Montgomery scored three touchdowns in week one? Well, he has a grand total of zero touchdowns and less than 16 fantasy points combined over the past three weeks after his monster debut. This isn't necessarily a sign of things to come but does again show the volatility of Montgomery, who is pretty touchdown dependent. Dynasty managers should treat him as a goal-line dependent RB2 moving forward.
Dynasty | Titans rookie receiver Carnell Tate caught nine passes on 12 targets for 145 yards in the Titans loss to Baltimore. Dynasty Analysis: Tate had seven more targets than any other Titans receiver and his 145 yards represented most of the 222 posted by Cam Ward. It's clear Tate has established himself as the WR1 and best option in a weak passing game for Tennessee. While his ceiling is capped playing in an offense among one of the worst in football, we've seen some real positive signs from Ward the past few weeks and his rookie ranking will continue to be stable moving forward.
Dynasty | Eagles receiver Darius Cooper had three catches for 33 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to the Rams. Dynasty Analysis: The Eagles really blew the game but it's hard to fault Cooper, who stepped up to lead the team in targets with seven and found the end zone twice. While he certainly took advantage of the absence of DeVonta Smith today, this shows what dynasty managers have honestly waited for over the past two years as Cooper has constantly been a super sleeper in dynasty leagues. We'll see if he can keep it up moving forward but this effort should at least make him roster worthy in dynasty leagues moving forward.
Dynasty | Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was forced from a win against Tennessee at halftime with an ankle injury. Dynasty Analysis: Jackson reportedly left the stadium in a walking boot. This is obviously a concern for both the Ravens and dynasty managers, though we'll need to get a few updates before making too many determinations. Jackson is likely to miss some time moving forward should it be anything other than a low ankle sprain. Stay tuned.
Dynasty | Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua had nine catches and 125 receiving yards in a win against the Eagles. Dynasty Analysis: Nacua immediately took over as the Rams WR1 upon his return from injury, pacing the Rams receivers in catches and targets on the day. He didn't find the end zone but dynasty managers won't complain much as he clearly looked healthy and ready to re-establish himself as a WR1 in dynasty leagues. Any buying window has clearly closed.
Dynasty | Giants quarterback Jameis Winston completed 18-of-29 passes for 250 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in a win over the Cardinals. Dynasty Analysis: This was a true Jameis Winston experience as we saw some great deep throws and a few inexplicable mistakes. This is essentially what Winston is and we should all know that by now. Winston likely did enough to keep himself entrenched as the starter as the Giants somehow still sit atop the standings of the NFC East at 3-1. Still, Winston is best served as a QB2 in Superflex leagues as we know he can post great weeks or horrible duds throughout the season.
Dynasty | Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love had 63 rushing yards, one catch and -8 receiving yards in a loss to the Giants. Dynasty Analysis: Love didn't have the greatest fantasy line but did have five more touches than fellow running back Tyler Allgeier. This looks like a committee that continues to lean towards Love but the Cardinals just aren't good enough to consistently lean on the running game to give Love reliable numbers on a weekly basis. Dynasty managers are going to need to be patient here as Love is destined to be a little up and down for most of the season.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (hamstring) was "able to walk perfectly normal," out of Lincoln Financial Field, according to Ashlyn Sullivan of NBC Sports Philadelphia, who saw Barkley leaving the stadium with his family. Barkley suffered a hamstring injury in the second series of a 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4. Barkley was later ruled out for the game. He finished the contest with just two carries for eight yards and one reception for two yards. Running backs Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley filled in against the Rams while Barkley was out. If Barkley is forced to miss any additional time, Bigsby and Shipley will be primed for larger roles in the backfield.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant (ankle) was carted to the locker room during a 24-14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4, according Zac Stevens of DNVR Broncos. Stevens later reported that Bryant was designated as questionable to return. He suffered the injury in the third quarter. Bryant finished the day with three receptions (on three targets) for 47 yards, including a 30-yard catch. Bryant's status moving forward is unclear, but receiving the questionable tag instead of being ruled out may provide some room for optimism. If Bryant misses time, quarterback Bo Nix and the Broncos will rely on wide receivers Jaylen Waddle, Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims Jr., tight end Evan Engram, and their running backs in the passing game.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) is believed to be considered "week-to week" with an ankle injury, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. This follows reports from elsewhere that Jackson was previously considered to be "day-to-day." Baltimore head coach Jesse Minter also seemed to express optimism about Jackson's status moving forward, and said that the team considered putting him back in on Sunday. However, Jackson was seen wearing a walking boot after the game. Florio notes that Jackson will have an MRI to reveal the exact extent of the injury. Jackson exited Baltimore's 24-18 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 4 in the second half due to the ankle issue. He did not play in the second half of the game, and Tyler Huntley stepped in at quarterback. If Jackson misses any time, Huntley will assume the starting quarterback role.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (leg) suffered a "gruesome" leg injury in a Week 4 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports. Warren added that Thornton was carted off of the field. It appears to be a lower-leg injury for Thornton. Following a 55-yard gain on a reception in the fourth quarter, Thornton attempted to stand up and immediately went back down to the ground. Thornton was having a strong game with five receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns before exiting. With Thornton out likely out and fellow wideout Rashee Rice also getting hurt earlier in the game, the Chiefs will rely on wide receiver Xavier Worthy, tight end Travis Kelce, running back Kenneth Walker III and others in the passing game

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (quadriceps) has been ruled out for the Week 4 matchup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football, the team announced ahead of the game. Coker is dealing with an injury to his quadriceps and did not practice on Wednesday before logging limited practice sessions on Thursday and Friday. He entered the weekend with a questionable designation, but ultimately won't be able to play. Coker leads the Panthers in receiving with 18 receptions for 222 yards and two touchdowns in 2026. The Panthers also recently placed fellow wide receiver Xavier Legette (knee) on injured reserve. Carolina will lean on wide receivers Tetairoa McMillan and John Metchie III, tight ends Darren Waller and Tommy Tremble and others in the passing game.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (foot) has been downgraded to out with a foot injury, according to the team. The team's No. 1 wideout was listed as questionable heading into this game with a foot injury and appears to have faced a further setback. Before exiting the contest, the pass catcher drew two targets but did not catch any of them. Fantasy managers should watch his status, as he could be in danger of missing Week 5. For the remainder of the contest, Tre' Harris and Quentin Johnston should see most of the targets from Justin Herbert.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jalen Nailor (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's contest against the Kansas City Chiefs with a concussion. Nailor did not draw a single target before sustaining the injury. Since catching three passes in Week 1, Nailor has brought in only two passes for a mere 25 yards. For the remainder of the contest, Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer, and Tre Tucker should operate as the top options for Kirk Cousins.
