Jake Moody Sep 21 1:30am ET
    Jake Moody

San Francisco 49ers rookie kicker Jake Moody has had a solid start to his NFL career, hitting six of six field goal attempts, including one from 57 yards, and making all six of his extra point chances. The 49ers will host a suspect New York Giants defense in their home opener on Thursday night which should make Moody a decent floor play since his team is likely to take quite a few snaps in New York territory. Wind shouldn't be much of a factor, as the forecast at Levi's Stadium includes gentle to moderate breezes throughout the game. Moody checks in as a playable option in 10-12 team leagues in Week 3.

George Kittle Sep 21 1:10am ET
    George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has been quiet so far in 2023, averaging four half-PPR points per game through two weeks. Against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2, Kittle caught all three of his targets for 30 yards. On Thursday night, the 49ers will host the New York Giants in their home opener. The Giants' defense, while getting beat up on the scoreboard through two weeks, has been middle-of-the-pack against tight end production. It's worth noting that Kittle is among those who may see an increased target share if Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) is ruled out before kickoff. Either way, it's only a matter of time before Kittle makes a splash for his fantasy managers. Lock him in as a mid-range TE1 in Week 3.

DeVante Parker Sep 21 1:00am ET
    DeVante Parker

New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Parker has dealt with this knee issue for quite some time now, which caused him to miss Week 1. However, the veteran returned in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins and played 100% of the team snaps. He caught six passes for 57 yards on eight targets in his season debut. With Parker practicing in a limited fashion this early in the week, he should be a full-go in Week 3 when the Patriots play the New York Jets. The 30-year-old wideout will have two more chances to practice in full before Sunday.

    From RotoBaller

Logan Thomas Sep 21 1:00am ET
    Logan Thomas

Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas (concussion) did not practice to start the week. It was expected that Thomas would sit out Wednesday's practice after suffering a concussion in the team's 35-33 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 2. The veteran tight end left the contest in the second quarter following a hit to the head by Broncos safety Kareem Jackson on his touchdown grab. Thomas will need to clear the concussion protocol before returning to the field. He'll have two more chances to practice before Sunday's Week 3 game against the Buffalo Bills.

Taysom Hill Sep 21 12:50am ET
    Taysom Hill

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (knee) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Fresh off nine carries for 75 yards in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers, Hill appears to be nursing a knee issue. He'll have two more chances to practice in full before Sunday's game versus the Green Bay Packers. If he does suit up, the Saints could rely on the versatile playmaker even more in Week 3 with Alvin Kamara (suspended) and Jamaal Williams (hamstring) both likely out for the contest. Hill could see more designed runs this week, making him an interesting TE1 play.

Deebo Samuel Sep 21 12:50am ET
    Deebo Samuel

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel enters his team's Thursday night home opener against the New York Giants with momentum. In Week 2 Samuel caught six-of-nine targets for 63 yards and added five carries for 38 yards and his first touchdown of the year. The Giants' defense have held their own against wide receivers in 2023, ranking ninth in the NFL in yards per game against receivers. However, they're tied for second-worst against the run so Samuel could contribute similarly on the ground this week. In addition, fellow receiver Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) is a game-time decision and Samuel may be targeted more often if Aiyuk is ruled out. Consider him a WR2 this week with distinct WR1 upside.

Dawson Knox Sep 21 12:30am ET
    Dawson Knox

Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox (back) did not practice on Wednesday with a back issue. The injury didn't seem to limit Knox in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders, as he played 71% of the team snaps. He also pulled down three catches for 10 yards and caught a touchdown in the contest. It's only Wednesday, so there's no reason to panic yet on Knox's availability for Sunday. But his practice status is something to monitor over the next two days. If he can't go, tight end Quintin Morris would step up in his place.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Reynolds Sep 21 12:30am ET
    Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (groin) was limited in Wednesday's team practice. Reynolds showed no signs of the groin issue in Detroit's 37-31 overtime loss in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks. He caught five passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns on 80% of the team snaps. It's a good sign the wideout was able to practice in a limited fashion on Wednesday, and he could see a larger role on offense if Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) misses Week 3. Reynolds' status should be monitored over the next couple of days.

    From RotoBaller

Nathaniel Dell Sep 21 12:20am ET
    Nathaniel Dell

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (thigh) was a limited participant in Wednesday's team practice. The rookie wideout stepped up for the injured Noah Brown (groin) in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts and finished with seven catches for 72 yards on 10 targets. The thigh issue is a new designation for Dell. But considering he practiced in a limited fashion this early in the week, there's a good chance he will suit up in Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If he plays this week, he's an interesting flex option in 12-plus team formats.

Alexander Mattison Sep 21 12:13am ET
    Alexander Mattison

Dynasty | The Rams have traded running back Cam Akers to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a swap of late round draft picks. Dynasty Analysis: In other words, Akers was given to Minnesota for next to nothing. It's a welcome (and necessary) move for him as the Rams were clearly moving in a different direction. Akers will now compete with Alexander Mattison in the Vikings backfield and at least has a chance to regain some value. He has tumbled all the way down to RB29 and he'll now at least have a shot at regaining some of his lost value.

    Wan'Dale Robinson Sep 20 11:00pm ET
    Wan'Dale Robinson

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (knee), who is listed as questionable for Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers, is expected to make his 2023 debut, according to sources. Robinson is coming back from a torn ACL suffered in Week 11 in his rookie season in 2022 and he didn't suit up for either of the first two games this season. It's good news for the Giants with star running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) already ruled out, but the 22-year-old Robinson still figures to be eased into the offense and isn't worthy of flex consideration, even in the deepest of fantasy leagues. He will be vying for targets in a crowded receiver room that includes Parris Campbell, Isaiah Hodgins, Darius Slayton, rookie Jalin Hyatt and Sterling Shepard.

    From RotoBaller

Joey Bosa Sep 20 10:50pm ET
    Joey Bosa

Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Joey Bosa (hamstring) was limited at the team's practice on Wednesday. Bosa missed practice time last week but was active in the overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans and still managed two sacks while being on a limited snap count (29 percent of the defensive snaps). The fact that Bosa is already practicing ahead of a Week 3 date on the road with the Minnesota Vikings means that he's likely to play again unless he suffers a setback later this week. The oft-injured 28-year-old pass-rusher can be a game-wrecker for the Chargers defense when he's healthy.

    From RotoBaller

    C.J. Stroud Sep 20 10:50pm ET
    C.J. Stroud

Houston Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil (knee) took part in Wednesday's practice after he was inactive for the team's Week 2 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The three-time Pro Bowler would be a welcomed addition on the left side of the offensive line as rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud's blind-side protector for a Week 3 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road. It doesn't sound as though Tunsil's knee injury is too serious, but he's still not a lock to be active this weekend and will need to put in some more practice time this week to convince the coaching staff that he's ready to go.

Evan Engram Sep 20 10:40pm ET
    Evan Engram

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram looks to continue his solid start to the NFL season in a Week 3 tilt against Houston. The former first-round pick sits at TE3 through the first two weeks, averaging 10.8 PPR points per game. The Texans allowed Kylen Granson to score last week, potentially opening the door for Engram to hit pay dirt for the first time this season. With how thin the tight end position is, if you own Engram, you're playing him. Expect another TE1 performance from the veteran with some scoring upside.

Marcus Maye Sep 20 10:40pm ET
    Marcus Maye

New Orleans Saints safety Marcus Maye has been suspended without pay for three games for violating the league's policy on substances of abuse. The earliest Maye will be able to return will be on Oct. 15 against the Houston Texans. It's a hit for the Saints secondary and one of the best defenses in the league early in 2023. With Maye set to miss the next three games, rookie Jordan Howden figures to see increased defensive snaps as a starter at safety for New Orleans. The 30-year-old Maye picked up 13 tackles (11 solo), one sack and an interception in the first two games against the Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers.

Chase Edmonds Sep 20 10:30pm ET
    Chase Edmonds

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed running back Chase Edmonds (knee) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday. Edmonds suffered a knee injury in the Week 2 win over the Chicago Bears and will now be forced to miss at least the next four games due to an MCL injury. Rachaad White will continue to serve as the team's unquestioned lead back heading into Week 3 against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, with rookie Sean Tucker serving as his primary backup. Ke'Shawn Vaughn will likely now be active on game days with Edmonds sidelined. In the first two games for the Bucs, Edmonds was sparsely used, carrying the ball four times for 20 yards while not being targeted in the passing game. He's well off the fantasy radar for now.

    From RotoBaller

Kendre Miller Sep 20 10:20pm ET
    Kendre Miller

New Orleans Saints rookie running back Kendre Miller (hamstring) put in a full practice on Wednesday, as expected. Miller didn't play in the first two games of the season for the Saints, but head coach Dennis Allen admitted that he held Miller out as a precaution in the Monday night win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. As long as the 21-year-old doesn't suffer a setback in practice this week, he will make his NFL debut at Lambeau Field this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. There is opportunity in New Orleans' backfield, too, with Alvin Kamara still serving his suspension and Jamaal Williams (hamstring) expected to miss some time after getting hurt Monday. Still, fantasy managers shouldn't expect Miller to see more than a handful of touches in Week 3 as he vies for carries with Tony Jones Jr. and super-utilityman Taysom Hill.

    From RotoBaller

Christian Kirk Sep 20 10:20pm ET
    Christian Kirk

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk takes on the Houston Texans in a divisional Week 3 matchup. After logging one catch in Week 1, Kirk came back to lead the Jaguars in targets (14) against the Chiefs, hauling in 11 passes for 110 yards. However, Kirk still remains a shaky play, especially against the surprisingly decent pass defense of Houston. Predicting the Jags receivers' boom games might be one of the more difficult things to do in fantasy this year. Calvin Ridley remains a must-start, but Kirk fits into the boom-or-bust WR3 category, especially against a team that held him to three receptions for 32 yards over two games last season.

    From RotoBaller

Parris Campbell Sep 20 10:10pm ET
    Parris Campbell

When the New York Giants brought in wide receiver Parris Campbell this past offseason, there were hopes that he would emerge from a group of middling wideouts. Thus far in 2023, he's caught half of his ten targets for only 23 yards. His reception total mixes right in with the totals from fellow receivers Darius Slayton and Isaiah Hodgins. His snap shares could slip a little bit if second-year slot receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) returns from an ACL tear on Thursday night. Keep Campbell on the waiver wire in a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

    From RotoBaller

Travis Etienne Sep 20 10:00pm ET
    Travis Etienne

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. gets a sweet Week 3 matchup against the Texans after disappointing fantasy owners last Sunday. Etienne opened the season on a positive note with 21.4 PPR points in Week 1, but stalled last game in an all-around disappointing effort from the entire Jags offense. The Houston defense has been the cure-all for running back woes the past couple of years and that hasn't changed through two games. Fantasy afterthought Zack Moss ran for 88 yards and a touchdown (4.9 YPC) on them last week, so Etienne owners should be salivating at the potential for an eruption in this one. Lock in the former first-round pick as a top-five back this week.
