Deebo Samuel Dec 2 8:40pm ET
    Deebo Samuel

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (groin) missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday. Samuel suffered a groin strain in the Week 12 win over the Minnesota Vikings and is expected to miss at least this week's game against the Seattle Seahawks. The 25-year-old has been the WR2 in fantasy this year behind only Cooper Kupp, so fantasy managers will sorely miss him this weekend. The Niners will likely have Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings as their top two receivers for however long Samuel is out, with tight end George Kittle seeing a heavy workload as well. Trent Sherfield and Travis Benjamin will battle for snaps as the No. 3 wideout. Aiyuk, who has been more productive in the second half after a really slow start, could eat against Seattle this Sunday.

Trey Sermon Dec 2 8:40pm ET
    Trey Sermon

San Francisco 49ers rookie running back Trey Sermon (ankle) missed his second straight day of practice this week on Thursday. Sermon sprained his ankle in the Week 12 win over the Minnesota Vikings and is on track to miss this weekend's divisional tilt against the Seattle Seahawks. The third-rounder could also land on the short-term Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss three games. Rookie Elijah Mitchell is the team's unquestioned No. 1 RB and could see an even bigger workload with receiver Deebo Samuel (groin), who has been used more as a runner the last couple of weeks, expected to miss one to two weeks. Sermon has been mostly an afterthought in his rookie year, carrying the ball 41 times for 167 yards and one touchdown while adding three receptions for 26 yards in nine games played.

Pat Freiermuth Dec 2 8:30pm ET
    Pat Freiermuth

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) practiced in full on Thursday for the second straight day. Freiermuth entered the league's concussion protocol when he took a shot to the head in last Sunday's blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but he has been practicing in full this week and should be able to clear the protocols as long as he doesn't suffer any sort of setback on Friday or Saturday. The 23-year-old has become an excellent weapon for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, especially in the red zone, as the rookie has six touchdowns in his first 11 NFL games, including five scores in the last five games. Against a Ravens defense that hasn't slowed down much through the air this year, Freiermuth should be in most starting lineups.

    From RotoBaller

Chase Claypool Dec 2 8:20pm ET
    Chase Claypool

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool (toe) was back to a full practice on Thursday after he was limited on Wednesday. Claypool has been managing a toe injury for the last couple weeks, but he will be out there in Week 13 against the division-rival Baltimore Ravens. The second-year wideout has just one touchdown on the season and has been a bit of a disappointment to his fantasy managers ever since JuJu Smith-Schuster was ruled out for the year. However, he has picked it up in the last two games, catching eight of his 17 targets for 175 yards (21.88 yards per reception). Against a leaky Ravens secondary that is surrendering the most passing yards per game this year, Claypool has WR2 upside in Week 13. Fire him up.

    From RotoBaller

Darrell Henderson Dec 2 8:10pm ET
    Darrell Henderson

Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. (quadriceps) missed another day of practice on Thursday, but head coach Sean McVay said on Wednesday that he thinks Henderson will be active for Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If Henderson is able to get back on the practice field on Friday, we'll feel much more comfortable about his status as the team's lead back heading into Sunday afternoon's game. The 24-year-old has just one game this season with single-digit carries and has seen at least 15 carries in five of his 10 games in 2021. Henderson is averaging a healthy 4.6 yards per carry on 142 rushing attempts and has added eight touchdowns (five rushing, three receiving), so he'll be a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 play in a great matchup against the Jaguars if he's active this weekend.

    From RotoBaller

Odell Beckham Jr. Dec 2 8:10pm ET
    Odell Beckham Jr.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (hip) was limited in practice on Wednesday, but he was downgraded to a DNP on Thursday. However, head coach Sean McVay noted on Wednesday that he believes that Beckham will be active on Sunday to face the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 29-year-old is dealing with a hip pointer and should be able to play through the issue. OBJ played 98% of the offensive snaps in his second game with the Rams in the Week 12 loss to the Green Bay Packers and caught five of 10 targets for a season-high 81 yards and his first touchdown of the year. It's clear that LA wants Beckham to be the No. 2 receiver behind Cooper Kupp, and the former Cleveland Brown will be a strong WR3/flex against a Jacksonville defense that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position in 2021.

Tony Jones Jr. Dec 2 8:00pm ET
    Tony Jones Jr.

New Orleans Saints running back Tony Jones Jr. is a healthy scratch for the Thursday night game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. It's a bit of a surprise with Alvin Kamara (knee) missing his fourth straight game, although the Saints will get Mark Ingram II back after he missed the Thanksgiving loss last week to the Buffalo Bills. Ingram should handle the bulk of the backfield touches, and new starting quarterback Taysom Hill can use his legs to gain yards on the ground when needed. Behind them, New Orleans will mix in Ty Montgomery and potentially special teamer Dwayne Washington, but none of those options will be great for fantasy lineups to kick off Week 13 action.

    From RotoBaller

Adam Thielen Dec 2 7:20pm ET
    Adam Thielen

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen is the WR7 in PPR leagues and is tied for the NFL lead with 10 receiving touchdowns. The Vikings have such a condensed passing game that despite sharing the field with Justin Jefferson, Thielen is still 16th in the league in targets. That high volume and his consistent ability to get open in the end zone keep him in the weekly WR1/2 conversation. This week, the Vikings face the Detroit Lions, who despite being winless on the season are actually giving up the 15th-fewest points to opposing wide receivers. Thielen should still see enough volume to once again be a low-end WR1.

    From RotoBaller

    Ricky Seals-Jones Dec 2 7:10pm ET
    Ricky Seals-Jones

Washington Football Team tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) put in his second limited practice this week on Thursday. Seals-Jones appears ready to return from a two-game absence, but with Logan Thomas off Injured Reserve after returning in Week 12, he'll revert to a backup role if he's back on the field in Week 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The 26-year-old was worth streaming consideration in deeper leagues when he was healthy and Thomas was on IR, as he caught 20 of his 30 targets for 192 yards and one touchdown during a five-game stretch from Weeks 5-10. When RSJ returns, he'll be battling rookie John Bates for tight end snaps behind Thomas.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Jefferson Dec 2 7:00pm ET
    Justin Jefferson

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is the WR5 in PPR leagues entering the Week 13 matchup against the Detroit Lions. At first glance, the matchup against the winless Lions seems like a slam dunk, but teams are only attempting 30.91 pass attempts per game against them. Jefferson torched the Detroit secondary in Week 5 with seven catches for 124 yards, proving he is capable of taking over a game no matter the game script. While the Vikings may not need to throw often in this one, Jefferson should be considered an elite WR1 option once again.

    From RotoBaller

Jack Doyle Dec 2 7:00pm ET
    Jack Doyle

Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle (knee) did not take the field for practice on Wednesday, but he returned to a limited session on Thursday. It puts him on track to play in a Week 13 tilt against the Houston Texans. Doyle has been trending up in recent weeks with 17 targets, 12 catches, 142 receiving yards and a touchdown in the last three games, but the Colts were chasing points against the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in two of those three games. Against Houston this Sunday, Indy probably can stick to their ground-first attack. The Texans D has surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position this year, but fantasy managers will likely only be rewarded with Doyle as a low-end TE2 if he finds the end zone for the fourth time this season.

    From RotoBaller

Kyle Rudolph Dec 2 6:50pm ET
    Kyle Rudolph

New York Giants tight end Kyle Rudolph (ankle) was back to a limited practice session on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. Tight end Kaden Smith (knee) missed another practice and is unlikely to play in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins. Rudolph missed the Week 12 win over the Philadelphia Eagles but could be in line to return this Sunday against Miami, where he'd be competing with Evan Engram and riser Chris Myarick for tight end snaps. The 32-year-old Rudolph has mostly been a red-zone weapon in his career, but he has just one touchdown on this bad Giants team on 17 catches for 147 yards in 10 games played in 2021. Rudolph will be a TE2 option to ignore if he returns to the field in Week 13.

    From RotoBaller

Mike Williams Dec 2 6:50pm ET
    Mike Williams

Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers Auden Tate (calf) and Mike Thomas (illness) both missed practice again on Thursday. Tate has been out since Week 7 and had been dealing with a thigh injury before the calf issue cropped up. In any event, he appears unlikely to return in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Thomas could have a chance to play Sunday if he returns to practice on Friday. If neither Tate nor Thomas can play this weekend, Stanley Morgan would serve as the No. 4 receiver behind rookie Ja'Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins. Tate has just three catches for 39 yards in a touchdown in seven games this year, while Thomas has five receptions for 52 scoreless yards in eight contests.

    From RotoBaller

John Ross Dec 2 6:40pm ET
    John Ross

New York Giants wide receiver John Ross (illness) missed another day of practice on Thursday with a non-COVID-19-related illness. Ross may need to get in a practice session on Friday in order to have a shot at playing in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins. Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) and Kadarius Toney (oblique, quadriceps) could be out again this weekend, which would allow Ross to see more of the field as a deep threat for the Giants. But even in that scenario, the 26-year-old former first-rounder would be battling Collin Johnson for snaps as the No. 3 wideout behind Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton. In eight games in his first year with New York, Ross has only 10 receptions for 217 yards and one touchdown on 18 targets, so he's an extreme long shot to return any fantasy value if he plays.

    From RotoBaller

Kirk Cousins Dec 2 6:30pm ET
    Kirk Cousins

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins enters the Week 13 matchup with the Detroit Lions as the QB8 on the season. Cousins is completing 67.7% of his passes for 3,013 yards, 23 touchdowns and only three interceptions. The game script could be the only thing holding Cousins back against a Lion defense that is so bad that teams are only averaging 30.91 pass attempts per game, which is the second-fewest in the league. There is still the possibility that the Vikings lean on the passing game early with the absence of Dalvin Cook. Cousins and the Viking receivers should have their way early on in this game but may look to run the ball often in the second half. Fantasy managers should still expect Cousins to remain in the low-end QB1 conversation.

    From RotoBaller

Amari Cooper Dec 2 6:30pm ET
    Amari Cooper

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper (illness) will play Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints but on a limited workload. Cooper has missed two weeks due to the NFL's protocols for unvaccinated players, but there was a strong possibility that he could miss his Week 13 matchup. Fortunately Cooper will play, but fantasy managers should remain hesitant in starting him if they have viable bench options as he is not fully healthy and is expected to be limited. As for the Cowboys' other options, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb remains a WR1, tight end Dalton Schultz is a low-level TE1, and running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard are both startable. Even if Cooper performs poorly this week, his activation is a very encouraging sign for the fantasy playoffs in the near future.

    From RotoBaller

Kareem Jackson Dec 2 6:23pm ET
    Kareem Jackson

Denver Broncos RB Melvin Gordon (shoulder, hip) and CB Nate Hairston (hip) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 2. TE Eric Saubert (ankle), OG Dalton Risner (back), DE Shelby Harris (ankle), CB Ronald Darby (illness), OL Quinn Meinerz (knee), OT Bobby Massie (ankle), WR Tyrie Cleveland hamstring), S Caden Sterns (shoulder) and OT Garett Bolles (ankle) were limited. LB Baron Browning (back), S Kareem Jackson (neck), LB Bradley Chubb (ankle), DL Mike Purcell (thumb) and QB Teddy Bridgewater (leg) practiced in full.

    From TheHuddle

Damien Harris Dec 2 6:10pm ET
    Damien Harris

Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano (shoulder) participated in practice but was in a non-contact jersey. It remains unknown as to if Milano will play in Week 13 against the New England Patriots, but there's a decent chance that he won't make it. In Milano's absence, both of the Patriots running backs Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson would receive upgrades as well as a slight bump to the Patriots' passing weapons. This injury is worth monitoring in DFS especially as it could lead to some minor market inefficiencies.

    From RotoBaller

Jake Elliott Dec 2 6:10pm ET
    Jake Elliott

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott will look for a bounce back week along with most of the Eagles defense in a Week 13 matchup against the New York Jets. Elliott was the second-highest scoring fantasy kicker in Weeks 8, 10, and 11, but mixed in K21 and K28 weeks in between. He's been more of a low-scoring, low-volume kicker before the recent run of K2 finishes, making him hard to trust even in a game that the Eagles should have little trouble scoring points.
