Minnesota Vikings OL Dakota Dozier and CB Parry Nickerson were elevated from the practice squad Saturday, Sept. 25.
Minnesota Vikings LB Anthony Barr (knee) and OT Christian Darrisaw (groin) were limited in practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 3 versus the Seattle Seahawks. CB Harrison Hand (hamstring) was added to the injury report and did not practice Friday, Sept. 24; he has also been ruled out. RB Dalvin Cook (ankle) did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. CB Patrick Peterson (toe), LB Eric Kendricks (hip), DE Everson Griffen (concussion), CB Bashaud Breeland (back, shoulder) and PK Greg Joseph (hip) practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report.
Minnesota Vikings LB Anthony Barr (knee), OT Christian Darrisaw (groin) and CB Patrick Peterson (toe) were limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 23. LB Eric Kendricks (hip), DE Everson Griffen (concussion) and CB Bashaud Breeland (back, shoulder) fully participated in practice.
Minnesota Vikings cornerback Harrison Hand was placed on the league's reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. It is unknown whether Hand himself tested positive for the virus or was deemed a close contact. Vaccinated players can return after testing negative for the virus twice over a 24-hour span while unvaccinated players who test positive must sit out 10 days minimum. Hand made one tackle in Week 1 and did not play due to a hamstring injury in Week 2.
Minnesota Vikings LB Anthony Barr (knee), CB Bashaud Breeland (back, shoulder), OT Christian Darrisaw (groin), DE Everson Griffen (concussion), LB Eric Kendricks (hip) and CB Patrick Peterson (toe) were limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 22.
Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks (quadriceps) is active for the Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals after being listed as questionable on the final injury report. The Vikings need all the help they can get on defense with linebacker Anthony Barr (knee), cornerback Harrison Hand (hamstring) and defensive end Everson Griffen (concussion) out against the high-octane offense of the Cardinals. Kendricks led the league with 15 tackles in the Week 1 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and he's a strong starting option at the linebacker position in IDP leagues now that we know he will play on Sunday.
The Minnesota Vikings have declared LB Chazz Surratt, CB Harrison Hand, OT Christian Darrisaw, LB Anthony Barr, DE James Lynch, DL Everson Griffen and QB Kellen Mond inactive for Week 2.
