New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan (ankle) has been placed on injured reserve as of Tuesday after being diagnosed with a high ankle sprain following being carted off the field Sunday versus Arizona. Josh Malone was added to the teams practice squad and could be a weapon at wideout Sunday versus Miami if hes elevated to the active roster, but would hold little fantasy intrigue. While Hogan has two eight-target games to his credit in 2020, his lack of touchdowns (zero) showcases his role in a seesaw New York offense. Once he returns this year, hell have to prove to be a consistent asset before managers can add him off the wire.

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (ankle) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Oct. 13. CB Lamar X. Jackson was signed to the active roster to replace him, while WR Joshua Malone was added to the practice squad to fill the void left behind by Jackson.

From TheHuddle

Oct 12 8:00pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan (ankle) was carted off the field Sunday against Arizona, but the good news coming out of Monday is that he only sustained a high ankle sprain. The Jets have not announced a timetable for when Hogan may return to the mix, but its unquestionably a positive outcome after what looked as if it could have been a season-ending ailment. Hogan has compiled 14 receptions for 118 yards this year, and with pass-catching options dwindling for New York, Jamison Crowder should continue to see ample opportunities out wide. Check back for updates on Hogans status as they become available, but he can likely remain on the waiver wire in most season-long formats even when healthy.

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (ankle) was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain Monday, Oct. 12. The team is running additional tests to determine if he sustained any further damage.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 10:10pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan (knee) was carted off the field during the Week 5 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The veteran receiver hauled in all three of his targets for 20 yards before exiting the game. It's unclear how long Hogan will be sidelined, but he doesn't have much fantasy value anyway. Breshad Perriman (ankle) is expected to return for the Week 6 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. That should basically eliminate any fantasy value that Hogan had.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 7:13pm ET

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan caught three passes for 30 yards against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. He was targeted three times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Hogan has been held to under 25 yards in four of the five games this season and can be avoided in all fantasy leagues moving forward.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 7:00pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Adam Gase told media after the game that the injury didn't look good and that Hogan would have an MRI on Monday. Hogan has been a regular part of the offense so far this year. He caught all three of his targets for 20 yards this week. If he misses extended time, Jamison Crowder will be leaned on even more and second-year receiver Jeff Smith, who had 11 targets in Week 5, could continue to see heavy usage.

From RotoBaller

Oct 9 9:10pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan (knee, ribs) is listed as questionable for Week 5 against the Cardinals. Hogan was limited in practice all week, so we'd expect him to suit up this Sunday. The former Patriots receiver surely has a path to more targets with Breshad Perriman (ankle) likely to miss another game, as he saw a healthy eight targets in the Week 4 loss to the Broncos. However, Hogan caught just four of those eight targets for 23 yards and remains one to avoid in the majority of fantasy leagues, especially now that Sam Darnold (shoulder) has given way to veteran quarterback Joe Flacco. Hogan has 98 scoreless yards through four games this year. Jamison Crowder is the only Jets receiver you should consider starting.

From RotoBaller

Oct 9 7:43pm ET

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (knee, ribs) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 9, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: Hogan has had an increased role over the past few weeks but has not posted great numbers. He can be avoided in fantasy leagues even if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 4:53pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (shoulder) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals. OL Mekhi Becton (shoulder) and WR Breshad Perriman (ankle) also did not practice all week and are listed as doubtful. CB Blessuan Austin (calf), S Ashtyn Davis (groin), DL John Franklin-Myers (foot), WR Chris Hogan (ribs, knee) and LB Jordan Jenkins (shoulder, calf) were limited in practice Friday, Oct. 9, and are listed as questionable. WR Jamison Crowder (hamstring), OL Chuma Edoga (shoulder), RB Frank Gore (non-injury) and LB Jordan Willis (ankle) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. The Jets did not practice Friday, so Friday's player participation is an estimation.

From TheHuddle

Oct 8 5:33pm ET

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (knee, ribs) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 8.

Fantasy Spin: Hogan has been in the starting lineup for the last few weeks because of injuries at the position but has not posted great numbers. Fantasy players should be able to find better options available and can keep Hogan on the bench.

From TheHuddle

Oct 8 4:53pm ET

New York Jets OT Mekhi Becton (shoulder), QB Sam Darnold (shoulder), WR Breshad Perriman (ankle) and RB Frank Gore (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 8. CB Blessuan Austin (calf), LB Jordan Jenkins (shoulder, calf), S Ashtyn Davis (groin), WR Chris Hogan (ribs, knee) and DL John Franklin-Myers (foot) were limited. WR Jamison Crowder (hamstring), OT Chuma Edoga (shoulder) and DL Jordan Willis (ankle) practiced in full.

From TheHuddle

Oct 8 3:00pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan could be looking at an increased role against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. The Jets are likely going to be without Breshad Perriman (ankle) for this game. That means, Jamison Crowder, Braxton Berrios, and Hogan could be the main options. Sadly, the Jets offense is horrendous, so Crowder is honestly the only player that can be trusted on that team. Hogan saw eight targets in the loss to the Denver Broncos last week. He could hold some deep league flex value if he gets another high volume of targets here.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 6:03pm ET

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (knee, ribs) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Fantasy Spin: Hogan has been targeted eight times in two of the last three games but only posted 23 yards in the last game. Fantasy players should be able to find better options and can avoid Hogan.

From TheHuddle

Oct 2 12:40am ET

New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan made a minor impact during the Week 4 loss to the Denver Broncos. Hogan was able to haul in four of his eight targets for 23 yards during their loss on Thursday. It was a game that could've been better for Hogan, assuming he actually caught more than half his attempts. Hogan won't carry much fantasy value going forward. The Jets offense is awful, so Hogan is going to be difficult to trust. Maybe he could be a desperation option in deep leagues if Breshad Perriman (ankle) sits out against the Arizona Cardinals next week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 1 7:23pm ET

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (knee, ribs) is officially active for the team's Week 4 game.

Fantasy Spin: Hogan likely will continue to serve as a starter for the Jets but may lose some targets with Jamison Crowder back in the lineup. He probably can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Sep 30 4:43pm ET

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (knee, ribs) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 30, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.

Fantasy Spin: Hogan could be a game-time decision, so fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation. He likely will be a top-three receiver for the Jets if he plays but can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Sep 30 1:00pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Chris Hogan was held without a catch during the Week 3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He hauled in six receptions the week prior, but couldn't do anything here. He'll get a favorable matchup against the Denver Broncos who have allowed the third most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Sadly, the Jets passing game is something that can't be trusted right now. Possibly, Hogan can be used as a desperation flex option in deep leagues, but he's tough to trust after his zero catch performance.

From RotoBaller

Sep 29 4:43pm ET

New York Jets WR Breshad Perriman (ankle) and LB Jordan Willis (ankle) did not participate in practice Tuesday, Sept. 29. OT Mekhi Becton (shoulder), WR Jamison Crowder (hamstring), S Ashtyn Davis (groin), OL George Fant (concussion), WR Chris Hogan (ribs, knee), LB Jordan Jenkins (shoulder), DL John Franklin-Myers (knee) and CB Quincy Wilson (concussion) were limited. RB Kalen Ballage (ribs) and TE Trevon Wesco (thumb, hand) practiced in full. The Jets did not hold a full practice Tuesday, so the report was an estimation.

From TheHuddle

Sep 28 6:43pm ET

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (knee, ribs) was limited during practice Monday, Sept. 28. The team did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Hogan was held without a catch in Week 3 even though Breshad Perriman and Jamison Crowder were out of the lineup. He should see a few targets if he plays this week but can be avoided in most leagues.
