Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will take on an Eagles Defense in Week 13 that is allowing the 11th fewest fantasy points to opposing backs this season. Jones has eight total touchdowns on the season but has found the end zone only once over the last month. The Eagles have allowed 11 rushing touchdowns this season and eight different running backs have posted 10 or more fantasy points against them. Jones is averaging 14.4 carries a game this season and will be a RB1/2 call in Week 13.

From RotoBaller

Nov 30 1:53am ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones carried the ball 17 times for 90 yards against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Nov. 29.

Fantasy Spin: In terms of rushing yardage, Jones' 90-yard effort against Chicago was his highest output since Week 2. He added nothing as a receiver for the first time all year, though, and didn't score so the overall production was about on par. After scoring 19 TDs a season, Jones is on pace for a dozen this year, which is a significant step back. He still rates as an RB1, though.

From TheHuddle

Nov 30 1:40am ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball 17 times for 90 yards in the Packers 41-25 win over the Bears in Week 12. The Packers were shredding the Bears Defense in the passing game and Jones added injury to insult with some bruising runs. Jones has been touchdown-starved over the past month but continues to play a key role in a potent offense. Jones will have an opportunity to get back in the end zone next week against the Eagles.

From RotoBaller

Nov 25 5:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will have an unfavorable tilt against a talented Bears Defense in Week 12. Jones heads into the game with 795 all-purpose yards with eight total touchdowns on the season but will face a Bears defense that is allowing the ninth fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. Chicago has allowed only two rushing touchdowns since Week 4 and have held down elite runners like Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara and Derrick Henry in recent weeks. Jones' numbers have dipped a touch recently and could struggle to post top-10 numbers among running backs in Week 12.

From RotoBaller

Nov 23 2:03am ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones carried the ball 10 times for 41 yards and a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Nov. 22. Jones also caught four passes for 30 yards.

Fantasy Spin: The Packers continue to take the long view with Jones, who has surpassed 20 touches just once this season. It's not a great deal for fantasy owners, but it stands to reason they'll look to get Jones more involved down the stretch. He's not the steadiest RB1 available, but his week-to-week upside is among the highest at the position.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 8:30pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball 10 times for 41 yards, one touchdown and added four receptions for 30 yards in the Packers Week 11 loss to the Colts. Jones punched in his sixth rushing touchdown, his eighth overall, in the second quarter to put the Packers up, at the time, 14-7. Green Bay would go on to blow a 14-point lead and ditched the running game in a furious final quarter of regulation. Jones, however, continues to produce even when his opportunities are being capped by a pass-heavy offense. Jones will have an unfavorable matchup next week against a stout Bears Defense in Week 12.

From RotoBaller

Nov 15 6:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones rushed for 46 yards on 13 carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10. He also caught five passes for 49 yards during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Jones did not have a lot of success in the running game but was involved in the passing game. He will continue to see a solid amount of targets each game and can be at least a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 15 5:40pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball 13 times for 46 yards and added 49 receiving yards in the Packers 24-20 win over the Jaguars in Week 10. Jones chipped in five receptions out of the backfield but failed to find the end zone for only the second game he has played in this season. Jones has seven touchdowns on the season but still does not appear to be 100% healthy. He will have a tough matchup next week against the Colts in Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 13 5:03pm ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (calf) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: Jones will continue to have a significant role in the offense for the Packers and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 4:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE John Lovett (knee) did not practice Friday, Nov. 13, and has been ruled out for Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. CB Jaire Alexander (concussion, hand) was limited in practice Friday and is listed as doubtful. TE Robert Tonyan (ankle) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable. CB Kevin King (quad), S Will Redmond (shoulder), S Vernon Scott (shoulder), WR Darrius Shepherd (shoulder), WR Equanimeous St. Brown (knee) and OT Ricky Wagner (knee) were limited in practice Friday and are also listed as questionable. OT David Bakhtiari (chest), RB Tyler Ervin (wrist), RB Aaron Jones (calf), TE Marcedes Lewis (knee) and LB Preston Smith (shoulder) practiced in full Friday and were taken off the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 12 6:33pm ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (calf) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 12.

Fantasy Spin: Jones returned to the lineup last week and received 20 touches and should see a similar workload this week. He will have a favorable matchup and can be a No. 1 running back in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 12 5:03pm ET

Green Bay Packers CB Jaire Alexander (concussion, hand), TE Marcedes Lewis (knee) and WR Darrius Shepherd (shoulder) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 12. CB Kevin King (quad), TE John Lovett (knee), S Will Redmond (shoulder), S Vernon Scott (shoulder), WR Equanimeous St. Brown (knee), TE Robert Tonyan (ankle) and OT Ricky Wagner (knee) were limited. OT David Bakhtiari (chest), RB Tyler Ervin (wrist), RB Aaron Jones (calf) and LB Preston Smith (shoulder) practiced in full. LB Za'Darius Smith (personal) returned to practice Thursday but was not given an official practice designation.

From TheHuddle

Nov 11 6:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (calf) practiced in full Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Fantasy Spin: Jones should be in the clear after returning to Thursday Night Football last week. He has an extra-long week of rest and will be an RB1 in a plush matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10.

From TheHuddle

Nov 11 5:20pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will go up against a Jaguars Defense in Week 10 that is allowing the sixth most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Jones totaled only 79 all-purpose yards last week but heads into Week 10 with 12 total touchdowns. The Jaguars have allowed seven rushing touchdowns since Week 3 and present a very beatable matchup for Jones and the Packers offense. Jones has scored in every single game he has played in this season, minus last week, and has an excellent chance to find the end zone once again in Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 12:33am ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (calf) ran 15 times for 58 yards against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, Nov. 5. Jones also caught five passes for 21 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Jones set the tone with some strong work both as a runner and receiver early on, including running nine times for 50 yards before halftime. His second-half work resulted in nearly nothing, but it was still encouraging to see his calf hold up after missing the previous two games. Now Jones will get some extra rest before a Week 10 matchup with the Jaguars.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 12:20am ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball 21 times for 58 yards and added five receptions for 21 yards in the Packers win over the 49ers in Week 9. Jones came into the short week battling a calf injury but was able to give it a go. The Packers didn't really need his elite services, however, as quarterback Aaron Rodgers sliced and diced into the 49ers Defense. Reports indicated a reduced workload for Jones but he still saw 26 touches in the game. Jones has been fantastic all season but needs to get healthy before he can truly return to RB1 status.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 7:03pm ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (calf) is officially active for the Week 9 game.

Fantasy Spin: Jones will be on the field against the San Francisco 49ers, but it is not known if he will be able to handle his normal workload. He is a risky option because of the injury, but fantasy players could still consider him a starting option in their fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 5 7:00pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (calf) has been cleared to play in Thursday's game versus San Francisco, confirming an earlier report that he was trending in that direction. With fellow running backs Jamaal Williams (COVID-19) and AJ Dillon (COVID-19) out of the equation, Jones was in line to see a vast increase in snaps, but the calf injury is reportedly still hampering him. Those fantasy managers who opt to roster him will be rolling the dice, but with Tyler Ervin and Dexter Williams serving as Jones' back-ups, there's reason to believe that the Packers could try to lean on Jones. On pace for an All-Pro year before his injury, Jones should be heavily leaned on moving forward so long as he proves no worse for wear coming out of Thursday's contest.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 5:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (calf) is expected to be active on Thursday night against the 49ers, barring any pre-game setbacks, according to a source. The Packers plan to be "careful" with Jones, though, and want to see how he feels before the game first. The 25-year-old is not expected to see a normal workload, which really makes things difficult for fantasy managers. It also makes it more difficult if you plucked Tyler Ervin off the waiver wire and had plans to use him as a deep-league flex. If you roll the dice on either Jones or Ervin on Thursday, just keep in mind that the 49ers Defense has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to the running back position. They've given up just three rushing scores in eight games.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 4:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (calf) is expected to warm up early and test his injured calf, and the expectation is that he will play in Week 9 against the San Francisco 49ers if the team's trainers and medical staff believe he is 100 percent with no chance of re-injury.

Fantasy Spin: Stay tuned. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport speculates Jones could be limited if he is active, but one has to wonder how plausible that is with only Tyler Ervin and Dexter Williams available behind him. If Jones is active, fantasy owners almost have to roll the dice and start him given the state of the position right now. Be sure to check back for inactives about an hour before the start of Thursday's game to see if Jones is expected to go.
