Oct 25 7:13pm ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku finished with two receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown on three targets in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Spin: The disgruntled Njoku was able to return to the end zone for the first time since Week 1, getting a chance with Harrison Bryant to fill the void left by Austin Hooper, who had an appendectomy. Despite the score, he is only worth a look in the very deepest of fantasy leagues at this point.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 12:33pm ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku has received some trade interest from other teams, but the team does not plan on moving him before the trade deadline.

Fantasy Spin: Njoku will serve as the team's starting tight end for at least one week with Austin Hooper sidelined. He should have a solid role in the passing game and can be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 23 4:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 23, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: Njoku likely will be the starting tight end for the Browns this week with Austin Hooper sidelined. He has been recorded only five receptions and 63 yards in three games this season. Fantasy players probably can find better options, but Njoku could be a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku is hoping to have a new home prior to the NFL Trade Deadline on Nov. 3 after once again reportedly asking to be traded. Njoku has been lightly used in the passing game this season by the Browns, hauling in five receptions for 63 yards and one touchdown. Back in 2018, Njoku was a staple of the passing game, amassing 639 receiving yards while starting 14 contests; this season, the presence of Austin Hooper has knocked Njokus fantasy outlook out of consideration. What could spark that intrigue again would be a new situation, with teams such as the Eagles and Patriots presumably having openings heading into the second half of the season.

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku, who asked for the Browns to trade him in early July before rescinding the request nearly a month later, has made it be known he would like to be traded before the Nov. 3 deadline.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 11:33pm ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) returned from the Reserve/Injured list to play in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts. He ended up with one grab for six yards on his only target.

Fantasy Spin: Njoku will be battling rookie Harrison Bryant for scraps behind Austin Hooper, who has taken control of the No. 1 tight end job in Cleveland. No fantasy value here.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 2:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) on Saturday, Oct. 10, was officially activated from the Reserve/Injured list.

Fantasy Spin: The Browns now have a tight end logjam with Njoku joining Austin Hooper (12 receptions-96 yards-one TD) and rookie Harrison Bryant (7-59-1). Cooper is still the best fantasy option of the bunch, but he's only a TE2 option on a run-heavy team.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 4:50pm ET

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) made it through the week of practice healthy and is expected to be activated from Injured Reserve for the Week 5 game against the Colts. Njoku has always been interesting from a fantasy perspective, but his ceiling isn't very high with Austin Hooper also in the mix in Cleveland, although Njoku did catch all three of his targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in the season-opener against the Ravens. Expect him to be eased back in this Sunday against Indy, though, which puts him off the streaming radar. But Njoku is certainly one to watch for tight end-needy fantasy squads. His return is bad news for Hooper's upside.

Oct 9 4:13pm ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) will be activated from the Reserve/Injured list this weekend and will be available to play in Week 5, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Fantasy Spin: Njoku has missed the last three games, so he may be eased back into the offense. Fantasy players may want to see him play in a game before considering him for their starting lineups.

From TheHuddle

Oct 8 12:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) is '100 percent' according to head coach Kevin Stefanski, as Njoku returns from a knee injury that had him on the Reserve/Injured list for the last three games.

Fantasy Spin: Njoku has been designated to return and joins a crowded Cleveland tight end corps which already includes Austin Hooper and rookie Harrison Bryant. For right now, though, Hooper remains the only real fantasy option as a low-end TE1 streamer.

From TheHuddle

Oct 7 10:53am ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) was designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Oct. 7. WR Taywan Taylor was signed to the active roster.

From TheHuddle

Oct 5 8:13pm ET

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) is expected to be activated from the Reserve/Injured list this week, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Fantasy Spin: Njoku should have a role in the passing game once he returns from the injury but can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Sep 14 3:53pm ET

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list with a sprained medial collateral ligament Monday, Sept. 14.

From TheHuddle

Sep 14 3:10pm ET

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) has a sprained medial collateral ligament and is expected to miss three weeks, according to a source. The Browns put Njoku on Injured Reserve on Monday, but it looks like he'll miss the minimum time with his knee injury. The 24-year-old caught all three of his targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Week 1 loss to the Ravens. Njoku will probably remain on the waiver wire in shallow leagues, but he's worth stashing in deeper formats if he continues to have a role alongside Austin Hooper when he returns. Hooper will have TE1 upside with Njoku on the sidelines for a bit, and rookie Harrison Bryant might get mixed in some more.
