San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Fantasy Spin: Coleman and Jerick McKinnon will be splitting backfield work until Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson are able to return to the lineup. Both make for a risky FLEX option with McKinnon slightly safer due to more work in the passing game.

Nov 15 3:03pm ET

The San Francisco 49ers have declared CB Ahkello Witherspoon, WR Deebo Samuel, S Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, RB Tevin Coleman and DB K'Waun Williams inactive for Week 10.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 8:13pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 13, and has been ruled out for Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon will share playing time this week with Coleman out of the lineup. Both players could be flex options in deeper fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 5:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee), LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (hamstring), WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and CB K'Waun Williams (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints. WR River Cracraft (quad) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Nov. 13, and is listed as questionable. WR Trent Taylor (back) practiced in full for a second straight day Friday and is also listed as questionable.

From TheHuddle

Nov 12 8:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 12.

Fantasy Spin: Coleman likely will miss at least one game because of the injury, so JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon will share most of the playing time at running back. Both have a chance to be flex option in fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee), WR River Cracraft (quad), LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (hamstring), WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and CB K'Waun Williams (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 12. WR Trent Taylor (back) practiced in full.

Nov 11 11:13pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 11, and head coach Kyle Shanahan said he is hopeful Coleman will be back for the Week 12 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 29 after the team's bye.

Fantasy Spin: There was an outside chance Coleman could have returned to lead the 49ers backfield, but instead it appears JaMycal Hasty, Jerick McKinnon and Austin Walter will be the three backs for Shanahan against the Rams. McKinnon might be the best of the lot from a fantasy perspective.

From TheHuddle

Nov 11 7:53pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) didn't participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Fantasy Spin: Coleman has a great chance to lead the Niners' backfield with RB Raheem Mostert still sidelined, but he has struggled with his own health all season. He'll be a risky FLEX play if cleared to play.

From TheHuddle

Nov 5 7:03pm ET

The San Francisco 49ers have declared CB Ahkello Witherspoon, S Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and RB Tevin Coleman inactive for Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 6:53pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 4, and has been ruled out for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon will both receive playing time with Coleman sidelined. Hasty has more fantasy value than McKinnon and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 4:10pm ET

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that running backTevin Coleman (knee) has been ruled out for the Thursday night game against the Packers after aggravating his knee injury in the Week 8 loss to the Seahawks. Coleman had just three carries for 20 yards before leaving the game last Sunday, and he was operating behind rookie JaMycal Hasty as well. Hasty and Jerick McKinnon should continue to split the backfield work this Thursday against the Packers, with Hasty being the more attractive RB2/3 in PPR leagues after he carries the ball 12 times to McKinnon's three totes last week. Hasty found the end zone on the ground, while McKinnon totaled minus-one yard on his three carries. The Packers have allowed the most fantasy points per game to running backs this year, so both Hasty and McKinnon have considerable upside this week.

Nov 3 4:03pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) has been ruled out for Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Spin: Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson are still on IR, leaving undrafted rookie free-agent to JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon as the last men standing in the 49ers backfield. It seems likely Hasty will be the favorite to handle early-down work, while McKinnon should handle the bulk of the passing-down work. Given how many key pass-catchers are injured in San Francisco, McKinnon should be worthy of a flex start on Thursday.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 6:23pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) did not participate in practice Monday, Nov. 2. The 49ers did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Coleman recently returned to the lineup but is dealing with another knee problem. Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see Coleman will be available for Week 9. JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon would handle the snaps at running back if Coleman is sidelined. Hasty likely has more fantasy value than McKinnon and could be a flex option.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 5:33pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee), LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (hamstring), QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle), TE George Kittle (foot), WR Dante Pettis (shoulder), WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and S Jaquiski Tartt (groin) did not participate in practice Monday, Nov. 2.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 7:13pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 8 game and will not return.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see how long Coleman may be sidelined. JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon will be the main options at running back if Coleman misses more time and can be at least flex options in leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 6:30pm ET

San Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Seahawks. Coleman had three carries for 20 rushing yards before likely aggravating the knee injury he suffered in Week 2. It's probably not a good sign for his Week 9 status that he was ruled out so quickly, but head coach Kyle Shanahan will hopefully provide more information on his status after the game. JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon will lead the backfield for the remainder of the Week 8 contest.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 6:10pm ET

San Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman (knee) is questionable to return after limping off to the sideline. Coleman was initially expected to return in Week 9 from his knee sprain, so it's possible he did too much in his first game back and aggravated the injury. JaMycal Hasty will operate as the lead back with Jerick McKinnon sprinkled in if Coleman is unable to return.

From RotoBaller

Oct 31 5:33pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Spin: Coleman's workload remains to be seen, but with the San Francisco backfield missing Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr., he has a chance to make an immediate impact. He's a high-risk flex option against a porous Seattle defense.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 5:00pm ET

San Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman (knee) has been activated off the IR and will be available for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Coleman last played in Week 2 against the Jets, where he suffered a knee sprain that kept him out until now. It's anyone's guess as to who leads this backfield after head coach Kyle Shanahan pulled a fast one on us all last week. The best guess is that Coleman leads the backfield, with JaMycal Hasty mixing in as a change-of-pace option and Jerick McKinnon operating as the third-down back. Coleman and Hasty are probably the best plays of the bunch, though they're hard to look at as anything more than flex plays against Seattle.

From RotoBaller

Oct 30 12:43pm ET

San Francisco 49ers RB Tevin Coleman (knee) received a 'heavy workload' in practice Thursday, Oct. 29, and the team is hopeful he'll be available for Sunday's Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks, general manager John Lynch said Friday. How Coleman's knee responds Friday will be key, Lynch added.

Fantasy Spin: Earlier in the week, Coleman was designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list, so he is definitely close to returning and helping out a banged-up 49ers backfield. Let's see what Friday reveals ...
