Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup ended up with only two receptions for 29 yards on five targets in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup's production has been very erratic lately, but so has the quarterback play in Dallas, too. Dak Prescott really made Gallup a solid fantasy option, but the receiver has struggled with Andy Dalton, Ben DiNucci and Garrett Gilbert at the helm. Gallup's fantasy value is strictly limited to deeper leagues at this point. Dallas hosts Washington on Thanksgiving night. He was blanked on two targets in the first meeting in Washington in Week 7.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 8:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup made two catches in a Week 11 win, gaining 29 yards. He was targeted five times. Gallup was seeing more targets from some of the backups of the backup that the Cowboys were forced to put in at quarterback, but with Andy Dalton back under center, Gallup is likely to return to his boom-or-bust role, with a lot more bust weeks than anything else. Gallup has plenty of talent, but just isn't in a situation where his skillset is being used efficiently.

Nov 18 2:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup and his fantasy managers are hoping for some consistency in Week 11 when the Cowboys take on the Minnesota Vikings. Gallup blew up for seven catches on 12 targets in Week 8 before catching just three passes on seven targets in Week 9. He's seen a wide range of target share in the Cowboys offense this year, likely due to the team starting four different quarterbacks already this season. For the year as a whole, Gallup has made 29 catches for 468 yards and one score. He's a boom-or-bust option in deeper leagues, although much more likely to hit the bust side of that equation most weeks.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 8:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup was targeted a team-leading seven times (tied with two others) in Week 9, but was only able to make three catches, gaining 36 yards. Gallup has seen a huge uptick in targets since the Cowboys have moved to their third and fourth string quarterbacks this season, but he hasn't done too much with the opportunity. He'll continue to fill a fantasy WR4/5 role if Garrett Gilbert remains under center after the Cowboys Week 10 bye.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 2:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup unexpectedly led the team in receiving in Week 8, catching seven passes for 61 yards on a dozen targets. He'd been a low-volume field stretcher for most of the season, but rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci targeted him more than anyone else on the Cowboys offense. With DiNucci benched after just one start and Andy Dalton (concussion, COVID) still not able to return, the Cowboys will have either Cooper Rush or Garrett Gilbert starting under center. Gallup is much more likely to have a two or three target game than he is to see another dozen throws go his way. He's a low-upside WR4 at best until the Cowboys figure out their quarterback position.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 1:33am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup had seven receptions for 61 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. He was targeted a team-high 12 times.

Fantasy Spin: After not catching a pass in Week 7, Gallup led Dallas in targets, receptions and receiving yards on Sunday night. With Andy Dalton expected back in Week 9, however, it's unclear how much, if any, encouragement should be taken from his performance. Gallup is worth carrying as depth, but he's behind Cooper and Lamb until he shows otherwise with Dalton at the helm.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 12:20am ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup led the Cowboys in all receiving stats in a Week 8 loss to the Eagles. Gallup saw a team-high 12 targets, catching seven for 61 yards. The second-highest targeted player on the Cowboys saw eight balls thrown his way. Gallup operated as a low-volume deep threat with Dak Prescott and Andy Dalton, but instantly became rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci's favorite target in his first start. Gallup will likely slide back behind Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb next week if Andy Dalton (concussion) is able to return.

From RotoBaller

Oct 28 11:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup is not a player the team is willing to trade leading up to the NFL trade deadline Tuesday, Nov. 3, a source said Wednesday, Oct. 28. If the team were to deal a top receiver, Gallup wouldn't be the logical choice.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup wasn't targeted once in Week 7 against the Washington Football Team, a game which was a mess on offense with Andy Dalton getting knocked out with a head injury. Fantasy owners probably wouldn't mind seeing Gallup moved to a better situation, now that Dak Prescott is gone and Dalton might be, too. However, it looks like he is stuck in Big D for now and his fantasy value might be at an all-time low.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 2:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is not a strong starting option in most leagues for a Week 8 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Gallup was held without a catch in Week 7, coming up empty on just two targets. While Gallup made for a sometimes exciting boom-or-bust play with Dak Prescott (ankle) calling the shots, he's taken a huge downgrade in moving to Andy Dalton at quarterback. Now with Dalton (concussion) also looking like he'll miss a start, seventh-round rookie Ben DiNucci will be tasked with leading the Cowboys offense. Gallup will remain a boom-or-bust option, but there's a much smaller chance of the boom than in any other game so far this season. He's somewhere in the WR4/5 range at best.

From RotoBaller

Oct 25 6:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup was targeted two times during the Week 7 game against the Washington Football Team but finished the game with zero receptions.

Fantasy Spin: The Cowboys lost their starting quarterback during the game, so Gallup did not have any success with either quarterback. He has been a bit inconsistent over the last few weeks and is a risky option if Ben DiNucci starts next week. Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 5:50pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup came up empty in a rough Week 7 loss. Gallup was targeted twice but couldn't come down with either pass, ending up with a blank box score and zero fantasy points. Gallup was working as a field stretcher with Dak Prescott around, but now with Andy Dalton and possibly Ben DiNucci throwing the ball for the Cowboys, Gallup seems much more likely to hit the "bust" part of his boom-or-bust fantasy outlook.

From RotoBaller

Oct 21 5:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup's role in the offense likely won't change much with the switch from Dak Prescott (ankle) to Andy Dalton under center. Gallup continues to fall behind Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb, as he has seen just 34 targets this season compared to Cooper's 65 and Lamb's 50. Gallup does lead the team and is fourth in the league in average depth of target though, so he's still going to have some big fantasy weeks. He's settling into a boom-or-bust role, but with Andy Dalton under center, that could be a lot more bust than boom for the rest of the season. He checks in somewhere in the WR4 ranks for a matchup against the Washington Football Team in Week 7.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 1:03am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup posted two catches for 15 yards on six targets in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Spin: Gallup definitely wasn't on the same page as new starter Andy Dalton, and he was very far behind Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb for the eye of the quarterback among the wide receivers. He is only worth a look as a WR5 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 7 on the road against the Washington Football Team.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 12:30am ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup caught only two passes in a Week 6 trouncing by the Arizona Cardinals. Gallup was targeted six times and dropped a potential first half touchdown, ending up with just 23 yards on the night. Gallup has become very much a boom-or-bust wide receiver, and with Andy Dalton under center in place of Dak Prescott (ankle), there are likely much more bust than boom weeks coming up.

From RotoBaller

Oct 15 5:50pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup has fallen behind rookie CeeDee Lamb in the wide receiver pecking order, but remains a guy with plenty of upside. For what it's worth, Gallup was the target on three of Andy Dalton's 11 pass attempts after he replaced Dak Prescott (ankle). Dalton will start Week 6 and presumably the rest of the season. If he starts targeting Gallup more, the wide receiver could re-establish himself as a high-end WR2, but for now he's a risky, low-volume but high-upside WR3 option.

From RotoBaller

Oct 12 2:43am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup caught all four of his targets for 73 yards in Week 5 against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Spin: His final line is misleading in that half of his catches and 57 of his yards came on the offense's final two plays of the game preceding Greg Zuerlein's game-winning field goal. It's impossible to know if and/or how the targets will be redistributed in this passing game with Andy Dalton now entrenched as the starter following Dak Prescott's season-ending injury, but Gallup has primarily been a field-stretcher this year. He figures to be a low-floor, high-upside yet again in Week 6 versus the Arizona Cardinals.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 9:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup made some huge clutch catches in Week 5. He totaled four catches for 73 yards, with two of those catches coming on the final drive of the game which led up to a game-winning field goal. Gallup was targeted four times, which was second on the team, but well behind CeeDee Lamb's 11. Gallup will likely continue to be a big play threat, but will have some bust weeks as well. His usage will be interesting to see with Andy Dalton under center.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 8:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup had a quiet Week 4 and will look to bounce back in a Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants. Gallup caught just two passes last week despite the Cowboys throwing 58 passes in the game. He seems like he's been supplanted as the team's second wide receiver by rookie CeeDee Lamb, but there's certainly still a role for Gallup on this offense. He'll have boom weeks and bust weeks, making him hard to trust in standard formats, but hard to bench as well. Gallup is right on the WR2/3 turn for Week 5.

From RotoBaller

Oct 4 6:43pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup posted two catches for 29 yards on five targets in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Spin: Dak Prescott threw for 502 yards, Amari Cooper had a 12-134-1 line, rookie CeeDee Lamb scored twice and Gallup did this? Fantasy owners of Gallup certainly were left shaking their head after this one. He'll look to get back into the picture in Week 5 against the New York Giants.

From TheHuddle

Oct 4 5:20pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup only caught two passes in a Week 4 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Gallup was targeted five times, coming down with the two for 29 scoreless yards. Gallup was sixth on the team in targets and has now had two games of two catches and one of three catches this season. He's seeing a very low volume of passes as almost a situational deep threat. Gallup has all the talent in the world, but if he's barely seeing passes thrown his way, that won't make for an effective fantasy starter.
