The Los Angeles Angels activated outfielder Jorge Soler from the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday night's game at the Atlanta Braves.
Soler has been sidelined with lower back inflammation. He last played on June 17.
Soler, 33, is batting .207 with eight homers and 26 RBIs in 67 games this season.
Soler's next homer will be the 200th of his 12-year career. He has 542 RBIs and a .240 average in 1,079 games with six teams.
The Braves are one of Soler's former teams. He was World Series MVP when Atlanta defeated the Houston Astros in 2021.
Soler was the American League leader with 48 homers in 2019 as a member of the Kansas City Royals. He also had 117 RBIs that season, both marks representing career highs.
Soler was a National League All-Star in 2023 when he hit 36 homers with the Miami Marlins.
The Angels optioned infielder Scott Kingery to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday to open the roster spot. Kingery, 31, was 4-for-25 in 13 games for Los Angeles this season.
Meanwhile, the Braves changed starting pitchers for Tuesday's game. Grant Holmes (4-7, 3.70) is now the starter and fellow right-hander Didier Fuentes (0-2, 10.80) was pushed back to Wednesday.
